Would it still be considered hypergamy if a woman is very pretty and very rich but the man is handsome (not as much as her though), much poorer, but very, very intelligent?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 03:53 PM

The woman you provided is unattractive and the man is attractive. She didnt marry up in money but did so in looks, so it would still be considered hypergamy imo

I dont actually have a study for this, but all of the internet agrees with me. I know its a lame excuse but notice around you and you will see I am right

Men do not desire the same strength. We look for a nurturer, not a warrior. Men have the biological ''duty'' to protect from outside threats

What I am saying is that crying is natural for both men and women. However, women are attracted, for evolutionary factors, to strong men. And emotional toughness signifies that this man WILL protect her, and thats why she finds crying unnatractive.

From your life experience, is what I said true? Do rich women consistently marry way richer men?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 06:56 PM

Yes, but rich women marry richer men than them. If a woman has 100 million, she will date a man who only makes 100 million or more. She wont date a man who makes 50 million.. Its called hypergamy
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 06:47 PM

they want to be desired by the 6'2 self made multi millionaire, not the 5'9 wagecuck
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 01:51 PM

women are naturally turned on by money, the same way we fall in love with pretty women
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 01:46 PM

extremely brutal
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 01:39 PM

Thats why somewhat attractive billionaires are far more attractive to women than not so rich male models
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 01:07 PM

No man is naturally attracted to power. For men its opportunistic, for women its genuine

If you are richer than her, it doesnt matter if you are feminine or masculine

Would a woman prefer a hot but poor greek god or an average looking emperor?

Women wouldn’t exactly fall head over heals for Bill Gates. He’s not magically sexually attractive because he’s rich, he’d attract gold diggers but they wouldn’t be sexually attracted to him. They’re not getting wet and horny for him. They’re not imagining sleeping with him. Women are naturally attracted to status. Its not opportunistic, like male gold diggers
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/24 09:57 AM

I agree with everything you said. But I saw your flair and I couldnt help but ask, are looks really more important than status? An average 5'7 billionaire will have more success with women than a 6ft poor greek god

Social status. Being a self made billionaire for example

Yes

You mean money
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/24 06:49 PM

I will disagree once more. I dont think that dominance is that attractive. I mean tyrannical dominance. Women will still choose the nice guy if he is handsome and rich
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 10:12 AM

And superior status in other aspects of life as well. See the halo effect, attractive men are constantly praised
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 10:12 AM

?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 10:07 AM

I dont think any woman would choose a poor chad over an ultra rich oofy doofy tobh
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 10:07 AM

I will respectfully disagree. Most women date and marry men of lower physical attractiveness. Hell, studies have shown that women are happier when they are with husbands less handsome than them.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/24 10:02 AM

I want to add a source on this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_H3ZuXkltss . Basically, hypergamy is so important to women that even now that they make equal money to men, they still desire a man of similar or superior social status

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
