I've been falsely accused 5 different fucking times... only 2 of them were girls I was with. Only 1 was grape. 1 was my own mom said I put hands on her... fucked up. Oh and the other one I actually called the police on her threatening me... and I spent the night in jail. At this point if the police show up, they ain't taking me alive. But ofc that makes me a criminal too right?

Here's stats refuting it. Most DV is reciprocal and when it's not 70% of the time it's the woman attacking the man. Here's the crime data that is dependent on reporting bias and the laws surrounding. Women are twice as likely to experience DV If you're dishonest you can find evidence supporting any narrative you want.

Leading philosophers and mathematicians believe numbers are transcendental. If we met aliens, they may use a base 16 hexadecimal system... but we are guaranteed to be able to communicate math as long as we can understand the numerals (which I think is what you're describing with Arabic numberal 27 as opposed to the number 27) No, not all categories are social constructs. Masculine/Feminine is a social construct, Man/Woman is not. Likewise species are not social constructs. You're conflating our …

I sum it up as. "You think it's ok to discriminate against men based on something they have no control over, yet you think it's sexism to discriminate against women based on their own choices"

I always just found it interesting how they basically admit feminism is nothing new, women need men to protect them and treat them special.

Like really though, they talk about the wage gap which is a statistical lie. And what else? Rape stats that don't include prisons and a lie about how women don't report (but somehow that doesn't translate to men). Since I read that I've been trying to think. I don't think I've ever seen any data supporting misogyny. Most of the time it's just 'I don't like what you're saying so it's misogyny'

If men leave it's because he want to cheat. If women leave it's because the men weren't good enough. Sounds like typical gaslighting. Because the truth is "Men don't leave relationships, women do" The fact that women are 'taking the first step' (in justifying their divorce) is somehow men's fault? I'm just perplexed how you can say me having a drink was the first step, and then I got a drunken crash, but it was the bartender's fault. I love my fiance, I proposed to her after 5 years together. We've had our ups and our downs. But real love is when you realize your duty to one another. No one is perfect, we all have our faults and our scars. But because we're willing to keep trying for each other, I think that's all that matters really.

Mens issues have nothing to do with political affiliation, and can only be seen as 'reactionary' towards feminism in so far as feminism enforces male gender roles, and fights for things like tender years, no fault divorce, alimony, child support, etc... All of which are unobjectionably sexist and oppress men.

And do male teachers not face constant sexism? Do you think there's a reason why men don't work in elementary schools and more high school or college? I work in tech and my only boss is my clients... so. Ah yes, the golden years when women dominated computer science? When were those? Men and women have all kinds of sexual differences, why not a difference in interests? The only reason there's no psychological consensus is because they can't resolve nature vs nurture. What kind of barriers do women face? They outgraduate men, but only 15% of people in direct sciences are women. I think we need to realize men and women don't share the same interests (on average), even though there's lots of overlap. If that's the case are we supposed to accept every woman into CS or every man into a teaching position on the premise they are a minority in the field just because their sex doesn't typically find those careers interesting? Honestly I think declining birth rates are indicative of a planet reaching carrying capacity. In other animals sometimes we see that instead of reproducing until everyone is starving for resources, the population will just... stop growing. The females will start killing/leaving their babies. "A key that opens any lock is a treasure to behold, a lock that opens for any key... belongs in the trash" Biology definitely plays a role. A woman who sleeps around and gets pregnant might have a hard time convincing one of them to give her resources for what is unlikely to be his child. It's also typically men who pursue women. Men getting women is a win. You have to work for it. Women getting got and becoming single moms with no idea who's baby daddy... is an L. Men want them, the goal is to …

Talking biology. There's no need for women to compete in reproduction. Their competition is social. A man is 'threatened' by every man who could use the pregnancy cooldown. But a woman is really only 'threatened' by prettier women who would replace her status as the 'Alpha woman' with her pick of the litter and a greater share of resources. Monogamy is actually a form of sexual socialism that serves to benefit lower status men. I think the concept you're trying to reach for is consumerism. We wo…

Did this article really go on and on about 'We aren't obeying gender roles anymore' as a cause for divorce rates but didn't present that as a bad thing at all. And then their first solution was to double down on women breadwinners and stay at home dads? Followed by 3 other solutions that are all reinforcing traditional gender roles? I can see why people who don't think for themselves are always so irrational and get confused when you start laying down real logical models and data.

I would point out that men (on average) have smaller tear ducts and produce less prolactin. Testosterone also has a suppressive effect in that it tends to make you angry instead of sad. Social factors do play a big role. but there is a valid nature-nurture debate.

I've heard some successful stories of suing places into providing male equivalents of women's support groups and stuff like that. Saying "no men" is textbook discrimination when no male equivalent is allowed to exist. And they usually aren't keen on taking the men in. Could be misconstrued for sure. But it's a solid tactic.

Uh, no. The shared parental leave is the problem. I can't imagine hearing that and not thinking "wtf?!" Why are they sharing leave? Do you share vacation days? Sick days? PTO? No... If there really is some economic reason for it, if anything cut it in half and split it. They're both new parents and studies show dad being there in those early days is just as important to proper developmental growth.

If it was truly such a struggle to be a single mom. They would stop divorcing their husbands and taking the kids... Who do you think struggles more? The reason women were slaves to men is because men were providing. Now women are free to do whatever they want, but men still have all the same obligations if they want to climb maslows heirarchy of needs. Even then you aren't allowed any expectations from her. I boil things down to evolution. Every woman matters, 1 very happy man could do the work of hundreds. This is why men are seen as disposable. No, it's a red herring. Look at the crime rates. Men are the vast majority of assault victims. Most rape assailants are people the woman (victim) knows. There's really no reason for women to be scared of random men. 10 other random men will kill him for her.

It's an implicit ad hominem. Right wingers are wrong. Left wingers are correct. MRA's are wrong because feminism is correct You are an MRA, you are wrong, you are right wing. Primitive tribalism, but that's the sum of the logic in my experience (or some variation of that). It's simply not possible (to them) that MRA ideas could manifest themselves from progressive, egalitarian values. I don't think the definition is wrong. It's the assumption that the victim is the person being penetrated. The definition does not state this. The oral penetration does kind of imply this though. It can be shortened to. Penetration, without consent of the victim. The real problem is the backwards ideas about men. Like an erection implies consent, men are tougher than women so how do you let that happen, or that's every guys fantasy. And of course things like "He was drunk, she was drunk, she cou…

I don't think anyone was saying it wasn't toxic. But that was kinda the point. Women have a million places to say "I fucking hate men, they should go commit not alive" But when men vent their frustrations about women. It's toxic misogyny that needs to be removed so no one ever thinks bad about women ever.

No. They don't pay more that would violate the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and you'd see lawsuits. This is pay gap all over again. Abusing statistics to push a narrative. All to ignore the real issue, car insurance, where women flat out pay considerably less than a man with the same driving history. because there are no discrimination protections. Car insurance is all about discriminating.

I'd tend to agree she isn't left. But this goes back to my point. There are few high profile leftists who are male advocates. And (forgive the godwins law) ignoring Hitler's perspective on art just because he was a bad man elsewhere is clearly an associative fallacy. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. A lot of words to arrive at the same conclusion. I feel as though you have a vested interest in this not being true as you're actually trying to compare 0.03 and 0.9. The correlation is so low as to be insignificant By convention, small, medium, and large effect sizes correspond to .20, .50, and .80, respectively This means men have less than 1/6th of a small effect. Implicit bias also matters a lot more as it is the unconscious bias. Explicit bias is willful and deliberate. Social constructs li…

Revealing that men lack a mechanism that bolsters automatic own group preference The paper certainly doesn't state that they do have one. And the fact men actually show a bias towards women (the WaW effect) is incompatible with men having a bias towards men. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Men don't have an in-group bias. No men are running to help a guy getting beat up by a girl. But if he hits her, we're all getting out of our cars to beat the crap out of him.

Fair enough, that's why you always define your terms. Patriarchy theory is of course the view that men work together to organize or control society to oppress women This is incompatible with the experimentation showing men have a bias for women, not against them. Of course while preventing women from working in the mines, leading an army, and what not when it's what they desire IS oppressive. It IS sexism. It spits in the face of the ideological stance that the majority of feminist theory expost…

An interesting critique, but patriarchy can be discounted by the mere fact that men do not have an in-group bias. In other words. Men do not treat men better for being men. Quite the opposite, it's called the 'women are wonderful effect'. This is why most institutional sexism actually works FOR women (benevolent sexism). Gender roles, alimony, not getting drafted, etc. All to protect women and give them the best life. If women were truly oppressed by a self interested patriarchy, they'd be openl…

I think your making the mistake of denying the antecedent 1) If person has a functioning female reproductive system, they are a woman 2) Person does not have a functioning reproductive system 3) Person is not a woman Or another example. I would guess even fewer women are convicted. In fact there's this story, about a statutory rape victim who years later had to pay thousands in back child support. The problem is rape is different from many other crimes. Sex isn't illegal (yet). Barring of course sex with minors which of course is a crime. So actus reus (the physical act of the crime) is invalid. It all comes down to mens rea (the intent), or rather the issue of consent. And that's just a he-said-she-said. The longer you wait, the less convincing it becomes. "He stole $200 from me a year ago" ""No that cash was an early birthday present"" Who to believe? Probably not the person who waited …

You start by fixing alimony, paternal surrender, banning 'girls nights' and discriminatory games like Tinder, You open up resources for men, single dads...
