I just went numb....drug my ass outta bed and did things when I didn't want to. The kids was the hardest part. I just try to be the best father I can be. Kids will pickup on that. Attend events, just show them love and you care. I at least get to FaceTime my boys every evening.

I feel for you brother! All I can say is try to find something interesting to occupy your time. Sitting around just makes it worse. Do what makes YOU happy! It will get better, but it seems like it will never end. There is light at the end of the tunnel! You can't see it now, but it's there. I'm 44 and completely rebuilding my life after spending 23yrs with a woman and having 2 kids.

Why do guys feel the need to go from divorce to immediately wanting to date? Didn't you learn your lesson the first round? Think about you for once......pussy is pussy.......been the same for years......take a fucking break and figure out what you want and what makes YOU happy!

I am so sorry brother! That is fucked up! I didn't go through that, but my divorce was a shit show. It will get better. I'm 44 and I am starting from nothing, but I've clawed my way outta the darkness and started rebuilding my life. You can do it to!

My divorce was finalized in May and I went "APP" crazy as well. After about a month I realized it was a waste of time and money, deleted all of them and I am working on getting myself right. A bitch ain't gonna fix shit for you! You're just gonna end up back in a dark hole wondering what you did and blah blah blah. FUCK women at this point, get your shit straight first! Now if you happen to be out and find a girl just looking for the dick, then give it to her and never make contact again.

It will get better! It fucking sucks, but you will adjust and it won't feel like the world is crumbling away.

Guess I'll probably have to use my title as collateral to get a loan for a new attorney. I've been bled completely dry of funds, but I'll do whatever I can to get this over with.

I appreciate and that's what they promised when I handed them the 6k retainer, then all that shit went right out the windows as soon as I left. It was 2 months before I got any sort of communication.

I would have been fine with phone calls to know something was being done and status updates. It took over 2 weeks to be told splitting an appraisal was fine, I asked how should we proceed with taxes that took 2 weeks and e few emails from my ex wifes attorney to get a reply. I had a document sent to fill out that I had questions on and a 30 day deadline. I got it filled out and.sent back with 10 days and used bold red letters asking a question and even highlighted it, and she called me at 9pm th…

I am seeking a male attorney to get this finished. I am totally done believing anything any woman has to say.

That's how this feels! Greedy, took my money and hasn't done much more than email me paperwork crap. With never an explanation. Not even after I asked to please contact to help me understand, I never got anything. I would email questions to 3 different folks in that office and it's literally a week before I get a reply. I call and everyone is magically busy and will call me back, which never happened. I just want this over with! Thank you very much for your advice!

I know my future ex has had a lot more communications and meetings in person than I've ever had. I'd get info from her before my attorney could get around to forwarding an email.... Thank you for the input!

Never used a single cuss word, caps, or explanation points. I mentioned the points I said in the original post and thought it could be handled better, call your client once in a while, not all done via email etc. I'm only upset that I gotta shit out more money for another attorney now.

Thank you so much brother! I keep the thoughts about "mom" to myself and won't ever bash her in front of my kids. But I will in front of my family and the few close friends I have that have seen through her shit for years. I'm not so sure she is doing the same though. I believe I am a better dad now than when I was around her and I know my boys see it. My 11yr old straight up told me that he likes how happy I am now and that got me right in the heart and I teared up. Each day is getting just a l…

It's not easy by any means! I am in a similar situation with a bitch I've wasted 23 years on. I'm now 43 going on 44 and completely starting over with my life. My divorce won't be finalized until May. I get my kids (7 & 11) from 6pm Thursday to 6pm Sunday every other week (which absolutely kills me)!! I can't do 50/50 because of my work schedule. I've basically lost the last 23 years of shit that I worked so hard for and to provide for the family so this bitch could work 3 days a week. I've lost…

Ruuuuuun!! Seriously you're gonna be miserable the rest of your life. I'm in the process of almost getting my divorce finalized.....the last week of March it's supposed to be completed. I am now starting over at 43yrs old after spending 23yrs with this girl. I lost my house I worked so hard for (for us, my family), I now only get my boy's from Thursday to Sunday every other week (which absolutely kills me), I wasn't granted ownership of my dog that I love so much (she treats her like shit), but …

Man my honest opinion is don't! If you find someone you love and are committed to, what difference does a piece of paper mean, other than we get railroaded and loose half of everything we work so hard for. I will never get married again, but that's just my opinion. I spent 23 years with this woman (started dating her whe. I was 20 and now I'm 43) starting my whole life from scratch. I busted my ass to get a good paying job, so she could work a whopping 20hr week and she told me I didn't do enoug…

Mine was/is a very manipulative narcissist and she did a great job of making me look like I was POS. My stuff should be finalized by the end March. I can't wait! I lost my house, my dog, and 90% of the time with my kids

Agreed 100%....luckily I had few things to prove she's nuts, like a pic of the dent her iPhone made in the wall 2 inches from my face

I pretend mine doesn't exist....she can burn in hell. They only ones I look out for are my 2 boys that are 7 & 11 years old. I kinda feel bad I didn't take them to at least get their mom something, but again l hate her and don't feel she deserved anything. I had my boys just draw her a card and told them to give that to her.

I feel for you man! I am in a shit situation myself. Being accused of multiple things, so much so that I took a voluntary drug test to prove she is not mentally stable. I was accused of being an alcoholic, a worthless drug addict doing all sorts of illicit drugs, abusing drugs, etc. Zero of that is true and now I have proof she was lying about it. But because of that being stated in the first hearing, of course the Judge sided with her, and only alloted me to have my kids 3 days a week, every ot…
