Plenty didn't but most did. You "claim" willing accessories; I say willing instigators. Complacency is a word neither of us would say .

Remember, behind most lynchings was a white woman lodging a complaint.

So he has two options. 1: start a father's group then it gets taken down by women for discrimination. 2: start an inclusive father's group where it immediately gets taken over by women to push their own wants and desires. Whenever people tell men to organize it makes me laugh. Men in modern society don't have anywhere near the free time women have, to organize.

I have been taught since third grade (by feminist teachers) that my life is disposable. We hear from our mother and their friends that men are protectors and providers. We are taught we must die to protect the lives that have value.

The victorian era is called so because of queen Victoria.

Ah yes, the victorian era. The time when women were the most repressed by the patriarchal system setup by king Victor. The time when women didn't even have public bathrooms because they shouldn't be out of the house that long. Damn the oppressive patriarchy of king Victor!

Look sweetie, I know you're not getting it so I'm going to condescend to you now. It's going to "feel" to you like I'm "mansplaining" but trust that's not what I'm doing. If you go to work sick, you're not "strong", you're "contagious". You shouldn't take pride in spreading a disease. You have a social responsibility to stay home when sick. YOU really need to man up and understand just because the system is set up to give you special privileges... Doesn't make you special. It just makes you a pr…

I've seen many many adult women living on their "own". Yet their parents pay a significant amount of their bills. So how is that not considered a "failure to launch"? I have never met a woman that can honestly say, they take care of themselves all their own.

It's not a completely different topic. It's highlighting the misandrist double standard people like you force onto society and the toxic feminist belief that women are not accountable for their actions. All completely relevant because you brought up alcohol consumption as a toxic male trait. All the while we live in a society that abandons and abuses men. So no wonder they self medicate with alcohol.

One could argue that it's the matriarchy that declares men as disposable/inherently worthless and must protect the inherently valuable women by sacrificing themselves in order to become valuable. Like the heroes journey tales. The woman is deserving of love and has to do nothing to achieve it. The man must risk his life and prove he is worthy.

Legally women can't rape men. All we have is sexual assault. Any sexual contact against a person's will is assault. Please don't diminish the already diminished autonomy men already have to live with.

The institution forgives murder because of female hormones. Why would they make women accountable for their abusive behavior? Those parasites aren't even held accountable for their murderous behavior. If they stop abusing men. Men wouldn't abuse. The matriarchy hurts women too! The matriarchy must be stopped in order to protect women.

If women want men to understand consent. They need to lead by example and stop grabbing dick that doesn't want to be grabbed. How can men understand consent when we have to deal with our genitals being groped when women want it?

I've met far too many women use hormones as an excuse for violence. They assault their partners, children, and break things. Then they "apologize" and blame it all on their period.

When I was in third grade we were learning about the titanic. My hardcore feminist teacher kept going on and on about the vile men that dressed up like women. Women and children first right? She was calling them evil because they didn't want to die. I just sat there wondering. At what age does my life no longer matter? I couldn't ask that question in class because she already aggressively taught me those questions are unacceptable. I couldn't talk to my mother about it because she also was a fem…

It's what we're taught. We don't matter. Our bodies don't matter. Our lives don't matter. We are merely tools to be used and discarded when we're no longer productive. Which is why it bothers me when people say men walking at night alone is a privilege. We are taught from a very young age that our personal well being is unimportant. How is being conditioned to not take your own safety into consideration a privilege?

Strength/weakness should absolutely come into it. Do you think that it's fine for someone to torment another for being physically/socially weaker than them? We need to understand that strength and weakness has nothing to do with gender and we need to break that mentality if we ever hope to achieve equality.

That's what he's saying. When surveyed, both men and women expressed the desire to be stay at home parents. It's a behavioral trait that's just as prominent in women as it is in men. Invalidating someone's feelings (like this woman did) is another trait. How would she feel if there was a pointlessly gendered word for emotional invalidation. Mansplaining is not like Karen because the name Karen does not apply to half the population. But of course false comparatives are a way of minimizing a person's feelings. She was wominimizing if you will. "Baby sitting your own children" would be an example of womi…

I never said anything about "being a man". I would never say that. Becoming a man is a personal journey. It has nothing to do with women. It is time we take our journey to manhood back into our own hands and acknowledge the simple fact. Women do not get to control if we're men or not. They don't know what it means to be a man. To be a man is so much more than a woman can fathom.

It's only a "male ruled" planet because of your perception. You're so used to your life being ruled by women, it feels oppressive to have male leaders. You're accustomed to wives, girlfriends, mothers, and teachers telling you what to do. The problem is those same women tell girls to not "date down". So in order for men to succeed they must do better than women. That's a problem caused by women.

Welcome to manhood. That's the basis for the majority of male art. Being forced to earn unrequited love is the heroes journey. Women have been told they're the objectified prize, but never question why men have to prove they're worthy of love? Objectification doesn't exist. There are worthy and unworthy. My apologies. I was using hyperbole. A more literal comparison would be if Channing Tatum told men to "stop banging ugly chicks because that makes them think they're something and treat men like crap. When really they need to be reminded they're losers that need to be put in their place." But I thought that was a bit long winded and hypothetical because a man couldn't say what she said without sacrificing his career.

Yeah that kind of logic is always a double edged sword when it comes to gender. If a person was a sexist misogynist, they could use that exact same science to show men are better. For example. What if your biological father is genetically predisposed to certain ailments? Is it no harm no foul that you might have been deprived of half your familial medical history? He's your father and that will never change, but what you don't know could hurt you.

When I realized that someone that knows nothing about being a man can not control the gate to manhood. We're worth so much more

This is how women treat their sons. Remember this when they want support from men.

Women are getting a small hint of what we've lived with our entire life. They never cared. Now that they want us to stand up for them? Who lacks 50 years of empathy? Why should we care about what they lost in a couple of states, when they have never (and will never) care about what we continue to go through? Men don't lack empathy, women do.

No that is not remotely what I said. I'm not even offended by the word "mansplaining". I don't like the intellectually deceitful people that try to say that word is harmless with no ill intentions. I could educate you on the usage of the prefix "over" but given the context and the genitals I was born with that would be problematic.

I like how he casually glosses over the "for women" part. Which implies they don't believe in equal rights for men. If they did then they would be believe in equal rights between men and women.

I think you’re just explaining how people commonly use the term “n-word”. Unlike many other commenters, I’m assuming that you don’t actually condone the use of the word “n-word”. I don’t think we should jump to labelling those who say “n-word” as racist. After all, the word “n-word” is used by ignorant dumbasses as you’ve described, even though it’s really an insult to all men. Instead of attacking anyone who uses the term “n-word”, we should educate them on why it’s a fucked up word.

It's really not though. Patronize is a gendered word yes but "mansplain" is an overgendered word.

It's frustrating because you feel like your voice doesn't matter even when you're trying to help people you care about. All that matters is the body you were born in not being the right body for people to find relevant.

Wow that's an awful lot of defense behavior from someone who doesn't know what a blog or OP-ED is. Little personal advice for you. Just because you claim something to be something it's not, doesn't actually alter reality. No matter how badly you want. Because that comment makes you look like an angry ignorant asshole. No wonder you accused OP of being a troll. You're just projecting your own insecurities. Now I'm done with you. If you respond. It will go unread. Have a good life.

I think it has to do with them trying to create a new legal term based on imperfect self defense. Where a woman is allowed to abuse her partner because she feels like he's abusive. She's not an abuser, she's an imperfect victim.

She got away with the murder of her husband long enough to murder her son. She got away with murdering her son long enough to almost murder her daughter. Both the father and son died with a ring of blood around their mouths. This post is about highlighting the bias in the justice system and the general lack of empathy towards men in society. The police didn't even suspect foul play until the daughter got sick. What natural causes is yellowed skin slurred speech in the days leading up to the deat…

That statement alone does not diminish male suicide, the fact that it's a common talking point to avoid talking about male suicide does diminish it.
