I know, it's absolutely outrageous this false narrative that women are allowed to express emotions but not men. For example I dont see any male celebrities being forced into a conservatorship after a breakdown. Women are allowed to cry but not show anger, assertiveness or mental health issues.

The double standards for men and women are outrageous. Women feel so much pressure to keep everything inside and not express any negative feelings. What would get a woman ostracized is routinely accepted from men. It is a truly fucked part of our society that women are not allowed to express negative emotions.

I dunno, I know people with Hv partners from OLD and trash partners they met in real life. I have hope. I feel like in the uk OLD is v normalised so you get a mix.

Not everyone is lucky enough or able enough to have an active social life through which to meet men organically. Ideally I would prefer to meet someone in real life but realistically I'm not able to get out regularly enough for that to happen.

Yes, and anger gives you motivation and energy to get stuff done, like professional athletes and soldiers are taught techniques to push through when they are exhausted and one is to GET ANGRY. It works, it gets stuff done. Also repressed anger literally makes you ill... like seriously destroys your immune system, messed with your neurology, makes you depressed (depression is anger turned inwards). So yeah f*ck forgiveness.

I think he has formed this view she is reckless as a way to rationalise that she did not want to date him for ages and dated other men. Clearly she is impulsive and reckless or she would have dated this prince charming from day one.

My mom always fed my brother more than me and used the same logic. It wasn't that I wanted the food, it was the obvious favouritism, and when you're young, i noticed it starting when I was 5 or 6, it feels like a really big deal.

There is a video on brits instagram where she is secretly filming sam to prank him by dripping water on him when he's sunbathing, anyway when he doesn't know the camera is there he is super dismissive and seemed very annoyed. As soon as he clocks the camera he's like "Haha you got me". I just get a terrible feeling about him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/06/21 12:18 AM

But Sam hasn't done anything to help her out the conservatorship. That is the number 1 reason why I don't trust him. Maybe he did small things here and there but if he loved her he would have hired an attorney or leaked the story to the press like 5 years ago. I do not trust him one bit and I have an awful feeling that he is going to hurt britney which she does not need after everything else. In exactly the same way. Naturally an intensely emotional person, I just feel things deeply (except lvm dick lol) and I find surface level conversation a bit boring. I like talking authentically about how I feel and about life and I find a lot of people don't. This has also ran me into the problem of giving lvm the time of day cos they will literally mirror you and pretend to care about similar stuff. It's a lie. Most men are not very deep.

I think casual sex for many women is a form of self-harm. It's for women who desperately want a relationship but feel totally unworthy and unlovable so don't feel they have the right to expect one and presume they would be rejected if they asked. So they delude themselves into being sex positive as this is the only way they can gain the intimacy they so desire without the fear of rejection. However each hookup feels like a rejection because it isnt true intimacy and it isnt giving them what they…

You need to think this through methodically. First you need to protect your home. There is a device called a door jammer that is cheap and effective. You can get it from amazon. Get a secure door lock like a Mortice lock or a dead bolt. Set up a motion sensor light outside your house. I would also suggest a camera outside your home if you can afford. If not get a dummy one. Second you need to protect your person (and your mom and grandma). I believe non lethal self defense weapons are better bec…

In the uk midwives assist the majority of the labour, doctors are only called upon if there is a problem like a breach birth or if the umbilical chord is wrapped around the neck. Midwives have more human touch imo and listen to women more.

I totally agree. Trusting an adult man (other than brother/father) to repeatedly chaperone a teenage girl is beyond stupid. Why would a random dude want to give your pretty teen daughter car rides?

Also the A-moral nature of capitalism where all that matters is the profit margins and the shareholders fuels utter depravity. These companies like porn and social media do not care about how they are affecting society, they couldn't care less, in fact they know they are damaging people because they design the product to be addictive. If regular women had more affect on society I truly believe there would be some ethical regulation of capitalism.

This is my mum 100%. She gets no love or warmth from her husband so weirdly tries to get it from her sons which she does by waiting on them hand and foot. It was very confusing as a child that my brother was so clearly the favourite when he was a little shit. I'm glad I didnt get coddled cos he cant function in society.

Often on these dead bedroom stories from the man's perspective his wife has become "a nagger" and never wants to have sex. Well big effing surprise when your wife is having to baby you and you are exponentially less cute and charming than a baby.

I know the daughter didnt go to Thatchers funeral, she gave up on her mum sometime after Thatcher left office. Mothers coddling their sons is the primary reason for the pandemic of man children. However men as a class are feeling the affects too which will only increase. The failure of boys to grow into men breeds the incel culture and also the MGTOW culture. Every incel is a coddled entitled child and every mgtow man is a scrote whose marriage broke down due to his incompetence. You mix in that women work as much as men and men no longer have a strong role in society there is less and less that women ne…

This is such good advise. I had never thought of this but I basically was the person advertising my past trauma and didn't even realise it. God it was so obvious in hindsight. One thing that has helped me tons is I have shaken off the victim mentality. It attracts bad dudes and makes you miserable.

I do this as well. I have a basic grooming routine, light fake tan, wash my hair (that's literally it). And sometimes I'll put some basic makeup on (under eye concealer, bronzer, highlighter, lipstick). I think I look far better like this than when I used to wear a full face of makeup everyday. I feel more confident cos I look like myself, I don't worry what he will think when my makeup comes off.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/20 11:19 AM

Me too. I frickin love my blurry vision cos I realized wearing glasses that suit my face gives it more definition and I don't have to wear eye makeup. Also most men find it cute and endearing and really don't give a shit either way.

Masterfully done. Pride cometh before the fall 😆 You're right men can learn new skills. It seems like a lot of men put up with ungodly conditions in their home/ hygiene and I dont understand why they dont teach themselves the basic skills to live like a civilised person with basic human dignity. Do they literally need a step by step guide or are they stupidly unmotivated.

It's so depressing. I truly think most LV men weren't raised to do anything for themselves so it's almost like their brain needs to be wholly re-trained, like a dog. I wonder if many of these men even have the ability to learn, I feel like they'd sit in their own shit and piss if no one came along to help them so what hope do I have to re-train them when I can't live with shit and piss on the floor. Like you say the majority of men who are raped are done so in childhood. That should be an indication that physical dominance is a massive part of the ability of someone to rape another person and physical vulnerability is a huge part of being the victim... but all they use the argument for is to shut women up.

I knew what she was talking about just from reading the title, how sad is that. It's like dude are you clueless or don't care or depressed? It's not hard, just put it in a glass and down it so your breath doesn't stink for goodness sakes. I remember this one dude did drink water but from the same plastic bottle he had had for ages and it totally grossed me out. I feel like a lot of broke men end up resenting their partner rather than appreciating them for being with their broke ass. It's like the second you expect them to take any responsibility it hurts their ego so bad they lash out. I'll never forgot when I dated this loser who "worked from home" but in hindsight clearly had a porn addiction and this was the reason his work was so unstable and he didn't have a proper career. When I think of the men I have dated I die inside a bit whyyyy. I'm not autistic but I have always found it difficult to build a relationship. I had a strange upbringing which left me clueless as to boys/ relationships so I feel you boo. For me the strongest indication that a guy isn't interested in me is if he is really quick to want to have sex and seems disappointed if I say no. Took me years to figure that out, thanks liberal feminism

The guy I was referring to is a childhood friend cries cos I should have scooped him up years ago but was too stupid. I totally get what your saying, some men hide the fact they don't have balls as "feminine energy". I mean that these guys don't truly have feminine energy, they think being shy/ quiet/ insecure are "feminine". The friend I was talking about is the only straight man I have met who has what I would consider true feminine energy, hard to describe but I suppose calm, kind, compassion…

That really sucks that your brother did this to you. I can understand that you trusted him because you think surely he would not be so disgusting as to steal from his own sister. But most men are extremely self absorbed and can justify even the worst behaviour if they want something. Honestly if you learn from this to never ever trust a man with your money then for five grand you got off cheap.

There are tons of guys out there and you need to filter out the douches. it is to be as attractive as possible to the men that are right for you. The men on this show are SO manipulative. They always convince the woman they have way more money than they do, usually borrowing from friends and family. It enrages me that they think it is ok for them to trick them like this. They always lie about important things like having cheated on first wives, still talking to other women. There is no such thing as prince charming, the men who go for women in weak positions are usually manipulative predators so make sure you are strong!

In my estimation it is ALWAYS a red flag. To be a man and call yourself a feminist is supremely arrogant. To call yourself a proponent of something you do not understand shows a mix of arrogance, superficiality, self importance and self absorption. They use it to atone for their shitty treatment of women despite not changing anything, they think their proclamation of feminism is important in itself because they are that arrogant. I was conditioned to believe it was natural in female friendship to compete with one another because my mother was always very competitive with me. They say therapy is finishing school for narcissists, they learn exactly what they are "supposed" to do. However my experience is that most abusers are already extremely good at manipulating people. I hate that in our society if a relationship is awful rather than break up the expectation is to get marital counselling which might help with minor issues but it is never going to change a mans fundamental character. The counsellor wouldn't be able to rinse the couple for money if she told the woman "get the fuck out". In Ozarks (on netflix) the husband pays the marital counsellor to side with him and I bet this happens all the time in real life.

That is incredibly interesting. I have some young cousins and this really explains a lot about their behaviour. I felt like "what the hell happened!" when they went through puberty, going from sweet young boys to surly, detached, arrogant idiots. I sometimes worry that I won't find love but I also think I could end up developing a much deeper connection with a more genuine guy because of it. Also it has made me a tougher person.

I'm not one of those insecure girls who needs attention all the time. It doesn't matter if he doesn't text me back all the time, or if he needs a weekend with the boys, I TRUST HIM.

Perfect time to focus on yourself and enjoy your own company. Have a bubble bath, read a book, go shopping all that good shit. If you're exhausted then predatory assholes will pick up on it and try to play you. You need to feel confident and strong when dating. An attitude of "I can take it or leave it" makes HVM crazy.

The excellent strategising is what drew me to this sub. The meme's are boring and all the same. How can we get back to strategies because ultimately that is what will land you a HVM, not a bunch of memes?

I agree totally. The point I was making was that the legal definition of rape is extremely difficult to prove. In the US and UK a victim has to prove beyond reasonable doubt that penetration took place, that they didn't consent and that the defendant either knew or should reasonably have known that the woman did not consent. A woman may have been extremely drunk and not been able to consent but proving this is extremely difficult. How do you prove that the defendant KNEW how drunk you were. It i…

I had never thought of it in those terms. Was your opinion inspired by any feminist thinkers out of interest? cos I would like to read more on this. I agree that consent is a spectrum. In so many rape cases the circumstances fall just short of meeting the legal definition of a lack of consent but it cannot be said that consent was freely given. I know many friends of mine who have slept with someone when incredibly drunk and they felt dirty and violated the next day. I know women who have "gone …

I have this same issue. I have no idea where to meet men other than OLD. I also really hate the idea of hanging around bars on my own when that isn't something I enjoy, in the hope of meeting men. That seems so desperate to me.

Yes exactly. People see wealth as the only measure for success when in fact developing emotional awareness and self esteem are measures of success too and will help even poor women choose HVM. Respect and loyalty are essential, not just added benefits.

"Don't believe sparks, you don't know until months and months in. Manipulative men don't always start by manipulating you" THIS!! The amount of friends who end up in shitty marriages and tell me "but he was so caring/ kind/ honest/ respectful etc... in the begining" Don't believe it. A few months being nice isn't much of a sacrifice when the payout is years of being able to exploit you.

Tell him you've booked a table at a busy restaurant (you haven't). Go for a drink beforehand so he is nice and hungry. Throw in casually that the server was a bit short with you on the phone. When you get there, GOSH, the "server" hasn't taken your reservation and it is a busy friday night, where else will you eat? What will you do? Leave him to make all the decisions without your input, just act a bit uneasy and ask him what he thinks you should do.

It is so hard to find single men in the wild. I am a good looking young woman but I never get approached by men unless I am at a bar and then it is sleazy men. I could be doing something wrong but I don't think I am, I'm friendly without being desperate. I do not see OLD as the lazy mans option either because the modern lifestyle means most single men do not have the time to get out loads (provided they have a job). I have heard that online dating sites that require a pay monthly subscription have a much higher proportion of men looking for a relationship than other OLD. I commend you on being so determined. I think there are some situations when a person might have to take some time off work or school due to illness, it isn't always possible to keep going. However the fact this dude gave up and didn't go back to school or try to start a career, managed to father a child, and the massive amount he is trying to overcompensate for his failings tells me this guys is using illness as an excuse. Men who won't shell out for a damn meal are not gonna be a generous provider. LVM resent spending money on their partner and this extends to kids.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/01/20 05:11 PM

Exactly, a HVM doesn't place an expectation on the date, he doesn't expect sex in return for a hot meal. He knows a woman has more value to her than that and knows attraction is complex. Only dating guys who pay for the date weeds out so many different types of LVM's because it goes to maturity and intelligence. Not that it's fool proof but it has many more positives than negatives imo.

He waited because he was trying to get his dick wet, probably failed to find a steady lay so he goes back to you and tells you what you want to hear to get into your panties. He asked you to Venmo, aka Vommo, the money? That tells you everything you need to know. That would really rile me up. It's disrespectful and dishonest. Also you might want to question whether it's true that your "always a little paranoid". This is the kinda stuff I used to tell myself when I was a doormat with low self esteem and in hindsight I was not paranoid, my gut was spot on. It's so easy for us to dismiss our instinct as paranoia because it points out uncomfortable truths.

I personally think men with high status jobs are as likely to be LV as men with no ambition. They are two extremes and both have shitty self esteem just one masks it by overcompensating with wealth and status and the other gives up trying. Many characteristics that help in business like ruthlessness, determination, self interest are also narcissistic traits. My personal opinion is that "average status" men e.g. Working blue collar or middle class, are most likely to be HVM as they have a more we…

I agree that intelligent people can be idiots. I've only recently started FDS but I've finally realised I've put up with terrible behaviour over the years and I am determined to never entertain a LVM ever again. I want other women to know that if they have accepted LVM's in the past it isn't because they are fundamentally flawed. They didn't have the knowledge and confidence but this can be rectified.

I had a similar experience, I was the only one in the family to call out my dads behaviour which caused some major head butting. I have come to hate my dad after everything he put me through so I am determined to find the total opposite of him. My Aunt has visited and her husband is a HVM, he dotes on her, is a great provider. This is so true. I am so used to being the one doing the work, I thought this made me a better woman. Now I realise what an idiot I was. My dad would never work hard for me yet I worked my ass off to make him proud and happy and in relationships I expected to be the one to work, I'd do the travelling and cooking. I set the bar so low for myself. Fom now on I will definitely ask "would he do the same for me". I swear to god I am done with LVM.

Yes, I will automatically make concessions because deep down I feel like I don't deserve any better. I often feel like if I don't accept this relationship I won't do any better so I make excuses for peoples behaviour. I am so sick of being treated like shit I refuse to waste any more of my life on LVM. From now on I am only accepting HVM's even if it takes me a long time to find someone.

I disagree that this girl is definitely an idiot. She clearly has incredibly low self worth. Even intelligent women do ridiculous things when they have low self esteem. In order to properly apply FDS you only need average intelligence but you need high self esteem or at least high enough self esteem to fake it til you make it. Also she may not have anyone guiding her or even worse be getting bad guidance. There are multiple factors at play not just intelligence.
