I feel that the main culprit is that you may think it's not working the way you wanted it to, which is completely understandable. When you work out you want to see results, and when you don't you get disheartened and fatigued. It's all about moderation, and understanding that even if you don't see immediate success just keep doing it and get comfortable with it. Don't stress yourself out. Regarding authenticity, it's like people telling you to to "fake it till you make it". You will feel fake at…

Preface: This is all speculation, it is best to get real help from someone who is trained. Question: Do you want to have sex outside of any peer pressure or social "obligation"? I used to feel the same way but I've realized that deep down I'm not one for hookup culture. I was with my then-gf for 1.5 years and we never had sex and I was happy with it. You may have trauma relating to sex and romance, or you could be asexual or aromantic. Best to ask a psychologist about it though!

I was listening to Destiny You see, that's the issue. But jokes aside, yes, women like to fuck. I would say a large issue that doesn't get talked about is the male culture of self-care (or lack there of). Historically, men do the bare minimum of beauty, skin-care, hyigene, etc compared to women and women were forced to deal with it. As women have more sexual and romantic freedom, combined with the desperation of men, they could have sex with almost anyone they want. So why settle for "lesser qua…

Yep. It's kinda like cats; when you show cats affection they'll pull away, but if you pull back they'll show you affection. Keep that in mind.

Simplified: Develop your Self-Confidence Go outside and talk to random people even if you're nervous or don't have anything planned to talk about. Have Standards Say no. Improve your Appearance Go outside and stop eating junk food. Treat Dating Like A Skill Stop being a bitch and go get it.

it's literally something you show and do And what you show and do is be vulnerable. Which people still will see as cowardly, unless if you follow rule 1 and 2. Learn to not be racist next.

You forgot an important factor: Most normal people won't give a shit about however you view vulnerability. You can tell yourself all of this shit but the average person won't understand the complexity, nor will they care. Better to not show vulnerability unless you're with people you can trust, and those who won't leave you because you show emotion.

Thank you for this. I feel a lot of this applies when making [female] friends too. I fear I have made this mistake with a potential female friend, and that's why they don't wish to hangout with me. Oh well, time to dust myself off and focus on today.

Do not react involuntarily to other people's actions, but respond comprehensively Can you explain this a bit? Is there an example?

actually if anything im treating them with less respect which is crazy. before I put in attention and care for them but now, treating them as if they were a potential partner, I intentionally care about them less. i give them less respect and consideration by distancing myself now. I've stopped actually listening to them and reduced doing other basic things I do with my male friends and I guess women like that. crazy how that works huh?

it's not like i like manipulating, too much stress on the brain. however it's the most successful path I've found to make friends and partners so far as long as it works I'm gonna see it through

This goes along with making female friends too. When I treated female friends like male friends, they acted virtually the same as women who had no interest in me. They blew me off, flaked, etc. However, when I treated female friends in the same way I treated potential partners, all of a sudden they wanted to hang out and do shit with me. I even make it clear that I'm not interested in anything more than being friends and it still works. Do not ever chase. Treat yourself as if you're above them i…

This doesn't make sense, two articles by two completely different people, with two completely different ideologies, in two completely different new platforms. Low quality post.

Were you alive in the 70's and 80's or are you assuming that's what happened? That's a common fallacy, you don't have to be from the time period to understand what would had happened. But by using your logic you weren't there either, yes? No, and neither were you. I don't think it was because he turned white that his career took off, where did you get this idea? Uh, racism is kind of a big thing. Black performers didn't get as many records on the radio, show in many events, etc. For example, Are…

MJ didn't bleach his skin, but after he "became" white his career blew up more than it previously did.

Are you referring to OP saying they shouldn't hate their skin tone? I mean, we're living in a society that has benefited white people for many years and looking at dating statistics black women and men are usually the lowest ranking dating pool. Historically lots of media portrays white men as the all-powerful good protagonist, but the villains (usually henchmen) tend to be darker skinned ignorant fodder for the protagonists to beat up. There are many stories of black people literally bleaching …

The court also ordered purposeful incarceration. That means her sentence could be altered if she completes a substance abuse treatment program. Amazin.

I spent the rest of the night in bed while he waited on me and checked on me and even made me different food and brought it to me in bed. It made me feel terrible, and then it made me angry that he made me feel that way and by the end of the night I was texting with the other guy. This guy can't catch a fucking break. Do something good or bad, she's off on some other dick. Christ.

Very very good point. I'm working in customer service and I literally always say shit about the weather and whatnot. It doesnt do anything for you. If you're completely new then it might, but if once you've breached that point you have to step out of your comfort zone. My biggest problem is the anxiety of people looking at me if I try talking to someone, but you have to remember that NO ONE actually cares what you're doing. Some people make turn to see, but after half a second they'll tune you o…

I've realised all of this before but I've never put it into action until recently when I realised how much potential I have. I've been complimented on my dressing habits and am usually said to be handsome, and on a smaller note rated 7.5 - 8 by others (I don't like ratings though, too subjective). My biggest problem is social skills. I've pretty much always had bad social skills, and when I am talkative I get called annoying, mainly because of my ADHD. But eh, I'm only 18. Still got a lot of tim…

“You’re ok with dying alone?” “Marry a good one and you won’t be sorry” “As a man, you’re supposed to get married” “What’s wrong with you?” “You just haven’t found the right one” This makes me furious. I'm only 18, and I've tried to date, get attention from women but absolutely nothing has worked and has been emotionally and mentally draining, fucking up my school and classwork. The peer pressure of NEEDING and WANTING to be with women is annoying and has infested my mind for years. OP I hope to…

Don't always have to expect things in return. I've taken care of one of her kids before without even realising it was her kid (some book tutoring thing I volunteer to do). She helped me with my speech problems and stuff, even helping me get help with my ADHD and depression. I've hinted at wanting to get to know her better but she turned down the offer, and I'm fine with that.

I know this is anecdotal, but my speech therapist is a wonderful woman. She's funny, quick-witted, and beautiful for someone at the age of 43 (she honestly looks like she's late 20s) and she has three children. All of a sudden her husband decides to end their marriage of ~10 years out of the blue and so now she had to take up a second job to take care of her kids, and honestly I would love to help her out or something.

You're right though? I don't know why you're getting downvoted. I wouldn't want my bf or gf being a fat lazy slob, nor would I want to be in contact with someone like that.

So instead of feeling bad for the other ten kids for not having a father figure you only care about that one kid because he's a lighter skin color. Bud, you need to open your eyes and stop trying to turn things racial.

This is pretty much a daily thing for black men. Get treated lesser and seen as disposable by literally anyone else, even own people, and seen as hyper-masculine beasts by women, stripping us of our humanity.
