So, I'm 18 and I've had trouble with anxiety and being social around people, especially women. Communication has been my biggest hurdle because I have a stuttering disorder. Over the past few months I've been losing weight, hanging out more, got a [social] job to improve my social skills, and overall making myself look great.

Today, my sister asked if we could go buy some stuff and I had to go drop her off. I decided to stay and shop cause why not? As I'm browsing boots I see this woman also checking out boots. She was older, but her body said otherwise. Little on the chubby side, and all in the right places. But, she was married. I finally mustered up confidence to talk to her but it was too late, she was gone. I was so bummed I stop looking at the boots and went to go find my sister, but I saw her again in the dog food aisle. I strolled up, trying to remember what /r/seduction told me about daygaming and went for it.

I asked her about dogs, and that I was babysitting my friends dogs for the Spring break. A bit quivery She was very interested and told me her dogs were in the nationals. I kept it cool, prolonged eye contact (when appropriate), no quick movements and was able to keep the conversation going, but I realised it wasn't in the direction I wanted. Then I saw her walk back to her cart. I knew I fucked up, but hey, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take right? I asked her a little bit more, and she tried to show me a video of her dogs but we couldn't find it, but now she was right next to me.

But of course, this is where my brain dies.

Finally, my brain does something! "You look amazing" (Ok, good start. Now reel it-) "For your age" (WHY DID I SAY THAT) "In a place like this" (God fucking damn it.)

She smiled, said "Good luck" and walked away. I felt so dumb I couldn't even say bye.

My first time, but it felt exhilarating! I've never approached any one like that before. Any tips for next time?
