I think equality of opportunity is very important (which sadly is currently skewed in favor of women) but equality of outcome is actual communism. Women have children, work less hours in general, less likely to take risks, ask for raise, etc etc, not to mention women are (naturally) discriminated against in labour works since (it just makes sense biology wise, not sexist).
