First of all, I do want to express that I completely understand where you're coming from, and I'm in no way trying to invalidate your feelings on this matter. It IS important to us, women, to receive the intentional expression of love from our man. In fact its IMPERATIVE for us to be frequently reminded that we are, in fact, still still hold that special place in the man's heart like we were told at the beginning of the relationship. For us, that expression varies how the man sees it, unfortunat…

Fairly sure the principle of "I don't put stuff in my body that I don't want" still applies, red pill or not. If her husband choses to be offended - that's his choice. You're not responsible for another person's feelings.

I would do nothing. No one can control what another person decides to do with their life, no matter how much they may disapprove of it (especially a hypothetical one 😂). Let him feel how he feels. What difference does it make?

Do you mean other than Jesus? No, my soul doesn't require one. But that doesn't mean that we should take for granted those people that we get to travel with for a while. They all are a part of our story, and teach us how to love another despite their and our shortcomings. So no, I don't believe in a "soulmate", but I do believe in most optimal travel companions. Best adventuring duo who compliment each other's strengths and weaknesses.

Think of it this way. Imagine his reaction if you did the same with a male friend. It's extremely trust breaking.

You've already apologized once. If he valued all the things you believe he does, you would've known about his conversations when they started. Men, who aren't interested in a woman, wouldn't say that line he did. Clearly, you're uncomfortable with what he's doing. He's already broken your boundaries.

What's this "free time" you're describing? Where does one download that from? Seriously though, that free time you're wasting away, is more precious than gold, diamonds, anything. Everything is pointless when it IS pointless. Take all those hours you're burning away on the phone, gym, guitar, etc, and invest it in people. The only way to invest time is by giving it away to others: in service. Get out of the comfort zone and dare to learn who you really are. Call the local hospital - see if they …

Life rarely is setup in a way that coincides with what we want, doesn't it? One can have a perfect looking marriage and it ends in a divorce. One can have a perfect Captain and he's taken away from your life by a tragedy. I don't know about "insurance". You can try to prepare yourself for every possible worst outcome by getting an education, preserving your beauty, stashing money in a bank account, having a bunker in a forest stocked with canned chili and ammo...but you'll never be ready for the…

Two choices - keep looking for the man who's so much smarter and more knowledgeable than you, so that you're never in the position to have to correct him, or Accept the fact that attempting to control everything around you is tiresome to everyone. Sometimes the best thing to do, is close mouth, trust your captain to make a decision that could be wrong, allow him to learn from it, so that next time he can use that experience to steer the ship where it needs to go. If you're not willing to do that…

Never. I'll talk about farts, because farts are hillarious, but I won't ever do it in front of him. But if it escapes and its loud, I'll be laughing my ass off. Under my own blanket though is fair game. If he chooses to uncover the hidden fart-cache without giving me a chance to warn him - sorry, my love, but you brought it on yourself. A wise man never rips a blanket off a person without warning. Ancient native wisdom.

That ship, unfortunately had sailed for me, so it'll just have to remain a dream I didn't get to live. It'll be just a meaningless carreer grind until retirement for me. And by carreer I'm talking about whatever job that pays the bills and is not too horrible to wake up to. C'est la vie. It's alright, I have other dreams to fall back on. Whoever makes it though - hope it gives you what you were looking for, cherish that place.

There's not much else to do, other than give him time to decide what he wants to do. After that offee a sincere apology and ask for forgiveness. Just be 100% honest, but don't bring up the nature of the fight. "Bottle up+explode" is as classic Woman behavior as one can get, so hopefully he is patient enough to be willing to move past that. It's hard to convince the hospital to accept fresh rhymes as a payment, when your son's on the 10th round of chemo, and you gotta quit your job to help him with his daily basic skills, even though he's 18 - he no longer can take care of himself, and on top of it all, the AC breaks down and that corporate bore of a husband who will cash in his 401k and his life's savings to just have one more Christmas with his son, starts looking better and better. Because life sometimes doesn't care who had dre…

A man can sit and ponder the quality, the depth, and the persistence of my love for him, or he can accept that I love him the only way I know, and reap the benefits of it while we're both can, because God knows that nothing lasts forever in this lifetime. Red Pill theory is for men. It's defined in a context that's meant to reveal the world around them (mainly when it comes to interacting with other humans) as it really is. It's not meant, nor can be reasonably used, to define me as a person, for example. It's not a dogma, nor a religion. It's ideas, observations, and in many cases - direct experimenting to arrive at a conclusion, by men FOR men. There's nothing to accept or resist really..It helps being aware of, because if you know what your po…

Whatever that means to you - life can turn on a dime and change your reality 180 degrees south. Always have something to fall back on. It's great to want to be an exemplary wife, but that's not all. Sometimes captains fall, even the best ones. Disease, accidents, wars, violence, this is a dangerous world. The first mate still has to steer the ship back home - the crew depends on it. Not ""just a great wife" - the kind of woman he will know will be capable of getting the crew home, should he ever…

Frankly - I don't really ponder on that, it's just not worth my time. I am aware of the traditional AWALT "features" as identified by the RP theory, but dwelling on it (especially when it's used in a negative connotation) serves no purpose. What I strive for is being more sensitive to those AWALT behaviors that ARE in fact, detrimental to any relationship, especially the one with the man I love. All humans are capable of being an asshole, so I try to minimize those asshole traits that are associ…

My man? No, he would not only see through it but also find it insulting. Telling someone the truth does require a measure of trust: trust that his ego can take it (and a sensible man understands not to be angry at the messenger), and he trusts you to be honest, all WHILE having that truth come from a place of love. I wouldn't want him to lie to me when there's an opportunity to improve. Ultimately it wouldn't't make me feel better, but weak and Any other man as a friend? No. If a friend came to …

Ok, this one is actually something my friend's husband did once, and I thought it was such a cool idea: Moroccan getaway in the living room. He put up a camping tent, and inside he decorated it with cloth and lots of pillows, and arranged them like divans. Some moroccan music, string lights, some light incense. He cooked a moroccan traditional dinner (ok, he was also a chef!), Had their sons dress up in like arabian-esque garb and be their "servers" for the evening. They both dressed up in costu…

This hits close to home for me. Not too long ago I had to 'give up' my own child to the law enforcement. People in my life didn't accept that. They felt that if I was a "normal mom" - I would have "kept my mouth shut". I actually had that hurled in my face, that I'm the most horrible mother. How can I do this to my own kid? My child believes it too, in some ways, maybe not so much now. I can't tell what the future holds for him, but because it was a first offense - the punishment was infinitely …

This is a comment that's really underappreciated. Sometimes love makes itself visible by doing things that don't seem loving. Clearly they both need help. Separately from one another, but they both need help. By removing herself from the situation, she actually IS protecting them both. It's better to be prosecuted for a lesser offense and have a chance to change the course of your life, than wait until there's no second chance.

Agreed. An abusive man is as low value as they come. Finding high value captain IS a woman's imperative, always, but we're focusing more on how to make sure their hair is feminine and she knows her way around the kitchen. Those skills are great, but they mean absolutely nothing if they don't know how to tell a cleverly disguised beta from a real man.

Forgot to mention. You can put an "Emergency dialer" on your phone that looks like an inconspicuous app. If you are ever in danger, it dials 911. Don't need to speak, but they will listen. Make sure your phone's location is on. They will dispatch a car to the location of the phone. And I know, calling the cops on your loved ones is the last thing you ever expected to do. Trust me. It's awful, but it's better than the alternative. It's best he's arrested for lesser offense than murder, right?

Oh goodness, dear fren. First of all - hugs. Second of all - any trust or hope to "make it better" he lost. That's not a man. That's a beta who spent all his life pretending he was a man. He can be on his best behavior until the day he dies, but HE. LOST. YOU. I am as red pilled as they come and the minute a man crosses that line of violence - we're done. Frankly, domestic abuse comes in many forms, but what you described is horrific. Being feminine has NOTHING to do with turning the other cheek…

Cut out some activities and go to bed earlier. There's no such thing as a "morning person". But there are people who go to bed early, get plenty of sleep, and get up early. Eventually it becomes a habit.

I'm so grateful for my man's patience and love for me. I'm grateful for him just being, frankly. Grateful for my home where most everything works. It has food and entertainment and quiet. Being healthy and pain free. I work in healthcare and I see so much suffering during the day. It reminds me to always be thankful for every day without pain. Vegetables. Definitely vegetables. In case someone is still living under a rock, anything that even remotely endorses traditional man/woman relationship and encourages traditional femininity without the insidious feminist ideology - is persecuted, squashed, laughed ar, misrepresented, and eventually snuffed out. May I suggest something that might be unpopular? 😃 Not everything has to be perfect 100% of the time. I'm not saying - abandon cleaning forever and use that time to nap. But it's critical for a woman to have "me time". It's easy to lose your identity if your only purpose is to be mom/cleaner/cook/wife. You're so much more. Find ways to incorporate that into your life daily. Afterall, being a good wife doesn't mean getting completely absorbed into the walls of your home. That's how women disappea…

Red Pill is not a way of thinking, it's a realization of the natural order of things, the acceptance of how human beings are built biologically psychologically and spiritually and how those schematics apply to the interaction between female and male humans. We both are. Sometimes we discuss RP topics and sometimes we joke about it. We are in a long distance relationship, so there are many dynamics of a traditional relationship that we don't have the opportunity to experience fully. At times I find it annoying when he responds to my emotional swings as a RP man does, because a) I know what he is doing, and b) it works 😡 Also, I can't get away with manipulation at all because he is always aware of it (even when I'm not) and I pout, because I don't ge…

Personally, I am abysmal about setting and achieving goals. So I'd like to work on that this year (again) by really sticking to the SMART goals principle: S - goals should be Specific. I think I got lucky. Work in healthcare, with a dozen of women with a woman in charge. Everyone is simply too busy and too tired to be catty or gossip. Also, they've worked together for many years, so they support, uplift, help, and care for each other. There's only one person who's kind of a little black cloud (not me😂), but even she is loved and somehow fits into the mix. Holy tamale, woman. There's a novel-worth of paragraphs here, all about you. One of my favorite lines is from a movie My Geisha ( I highly recommend!), That summarizes submission perfectly: "No one before you, my husband. Not even I." Shift the focus from "me, my past, my attempts, my , me, memememe..." to him. In your thoughts, your deeds, and your heart. You gotta get rid of your first idol, before you can worship another.

In this day and age, waiting for Mr.Redpill to find and ask you out of the blue, eventually might get you sitting in a company of 15 cats, binging on last week's chili. Don't get me wrong, both of those things sound amazing, but so does having a good man to love. As some pointed out, in the US, the act of courting/pursuing/doing the seduction dance was equated to pretty much sexual assault (thanks, feminism!). Being irreplaceable was something that I dreamt of before I got married. One man, who will be my "other half", my inseparable twin, my soulmate! Ah, this must be what true love smells like....(narrator: it wasn't.) As I got older...much older, the picture of what being irreplaceable to a man actually meant gradually became clearer. Trouble with Valentine's day and other forms of Large-scale covert contract events, is that beta men DO use the gifts, flowers, wooing, etc, to essentially place an obligation on the wife to have sex with them. That is in a relationship where the sex part is missing for the most part. (see the majority of the long term US marriages). Women know this and preemptively resent the gifts/efforts. Actually, shit/comfort testing, is how we weed out the "fake alphas" from the pack. We do it always, whether we realize it or not. Part of our programming, like it of not. I wouldn't say it's a red flag, remember, just 15 years ago not having social media presence was the norm. Plus, SM is an excellent tool for anyone with smarts to create a persona they want others to see. But she's right to be cautious of that as well, and it doesn't hurt to be extra cautious of meeting anyone new - FB account or no. Keep in mind, that he might also be married/involved already, and having no SM presence would help him to remain anonymous in that sense.

For me, a man who lives in a dirty home (and is the owner of said home), especially at that age, is a HUGE red flag. The place we occupy is often a reflection of us, our mental state. The fact that he lives alone (did I get that right?) And yet unable to keep his place clean is a bad sign. It's really easy to keep things clean actually. The man I love always says "hope is not a strategy". I disagree (shhh, don't tell him I said that 😁), but I understand how that applies to some situation. This is one such situation. We women often love our idea of the man, perhaps his potential, perhaps our fantasy of him, but rarely the man himself. Set boundaries, make them clear. Don't hint, or insinuate - clearly (but politely) articulate to him what your boundaries are. If he crosses them again, decide is what I described in the beginning is greater than YOUR self-worth.

The not-so- fictional Caroline Ingalls (Mrs. Ingalls in the little house on the prairie TV series). To me, she's a wonderful example of an extremely strong woman who follows her husband's lead with trust, patience, and love. She is still an individual but her focus is providing the home and care for her family. Aside from that, it's also how the character treats others around her and deals with (insanely great) adversity. For the younger ladies here - if you haven't watched Little House on the P…

Stop sparing his ego. You have no children with this slug, not married to him ( technically), can't stand him, and on top of it all - he practically rapes you. Yes, marital rape is a thing. Run, don't walk. There's absolutely nothing red pill about this man other than you've convinced yourself that he is. Red pill or not, this just sounds like a miserable experience. With no kids involved, there's seems to be 0 reasons to continue with this. You can't decide for him to be the man you hope he is …

I'd like to second (third) the request for workout ideas. Also, am I being a little snooty, thinking 26lbs is really small weight to make a big difference? Hey, congratulations! A full time job with benefits ( hopefully?) Is nothing to shake a stick at. Aside from getting valuable experience and a steady paycheck, don't forget some other bonuses: social networking that can potentially lead to better job opportunities in the future a good commonality that you and your bf can share and discuss together. A high quality man DOES have the option to walk away at any time and for any reason. Doesn't mean he will, but that's ALWAYS an option for him. A quality woman will work hard on herself to make sure that SHE is the woman he chooses to spend his time with. The other woman is irrelevant. He is the focus. And grabbing anyone's junk and claiming them as your own, well, that's just silly. If the husbands' dicks really belonged to their wives, they'd be taken care of MUCH better than the marriage real…

I personally wouldn't change my behavior from my usual one. Her being friendly doesn't affect your relationship with your bf. She's irrelevant (in sense of competition), as long as you focus on him. Acting possessive and defensive of him is unattractive and smells of insecurity, and nothing deflates the "new contender" like your own confidence. Focus on him and watch his response. If he's responding to her whiles - reassess what might be missing in your relationship and care the loving crap out …

I can't comment on her actions, because she's not the one telling her story nor asking for an advice. No one SHOULD have children, imho. It really is a personal choice in our day and age, and while I completely understand family/cultural/social pressures to have one, it really is your decision. You don't owe it to anyone to produce another human. I've actually went into my marriage not planning to have kids. Didn't want them. As a 40-something woman, who spent most of her life enjoying "boy hobbies", working in a predominantly-male field of work, and overall having 50%of my interests being traditionally "stuff that only guys like", all I can say is if it feels like you're playing dress up - you're playing dress up. Just try not to let it take place of the more difficult aspects of relating to other people, like showing vulnerability and asking for help. You want/need help - don't just show you need help. Of all of the things that I talked about with SO before we tied the knot, the one conversation we shouldve had was "what are our expectations from this union?" Have a sit down talk with your husband. Both of you layout what you want from the marriage and what you expect from the other. Be honest about how much you want/willing to deliver on the expectation. Never dull your shine for anyone, period. As many already said - a weak person, man or woman, is intimidated or scared of someone with more education, strength, experience, wealth, etc. A man who is worth all you can offer would not be scared to take you on board, but will recognize your strengths and abilities, and use them to lead you both where you're going. Wasn't the point of my reply at all. I was cautioning about romanticizing the ideal. As other posters pointed out - most women they know are married to a Michael. Most women I know as well, are married to one. Because Michaels are generally safe, reliable, and easy to control. That's all.

Well, I'm somewhat confused by the focus of this. While yes, essentially we're looking for the certain qualities in a man and how those qualities benefit us in the relationship, but I don't believe that's a good way to gauge a man's emotional/intellectual/physical development level. Well yes, that's the essence of a woman. To be desired, accepted, worshipped, catered to "as we are". Without having to continuously improve ourselves, prove our worth every day, drive ourselves up the hill all the time in order to be the woman worth all the things we crave. We want gains without the pains. In fact, humans in general would prefer gains rather than pains (even though the pains is where we grow the most). I have a good man and I don’t want to ruin things by acting entitled & spoiled That's an easy one. Just don't act spoiled and entitled. Don't overthink it. Let the man do what the man wants to do. He wants to shower you with gifts - that's his perogative. Don't try to control his action under the guise of humility. You don't think you're worthy of the gifts/ attention? Let him make that decision, be always grateful for the gifts and the help, and don't ask for more. 😊

How do you quantify happiness? On your terms or the woman's? Viewing it from a perspective of a person from a Western culture or from someone another culture? While Michael sounds like a lovely, hard-working, muscly, sweaty model of a man for the middle class America, I'll definitely pass. Why is he poor? I mean, he's got brains, brawn, and looks. So being poor, while sounds romantically noble, also sounds like a man who settled into mediocrity, has no plans to expand his skill set and has no ambition. Yet, instead of getting rest that he needs and feels he earned - he's expected to do the job that his wife's supposed to be doing. What's worse, he's told that what he's doing is not enough. Life can be so ugly, isn't it? I'm an artist, and making objects of beauty (albeit my own subjective view of it) is a constant drive in my life.
