What are your computer skills like?

Here are some things that I prefer to keep on my laptop/PC for organization/accessibility sake an might help you (especially in the future, when kids/house ownership/car ownership comes into play. Am I correct in assuming this is a long-term relationship plan?):

start keeping track of your and your family's personal health record. You can do this as simply as scanning (or taking pictures of your immunization records, doctor's visit notes, lab tests etc) and saving them in a separate folfer. If you're interested in learning (or already know) how to make a simple website, you can create a more comprehensive place to store this information. Google sites is free, fairly secure (do your own research though) , and offers a lot of customization. Why do this?

It's a good idea to keep track of your health information. Once you have kids, doubly so - you can see at a glance what, where, how, etc. It also makes it far easier to transfer records from one practice to another, especially if you're moving across states, for example. Also, when it comes to dealing with health insurance claims, you gotta know what's what. And it's much easier to do when you're not digging through a box of random papers.

keeping track of bills. Excel Spreadsheet or a number of other sites/programs that can help with that. Although, personally I think a smartphone app is a better option, unless you love filling out spreadsheets. No judgement here if you do, for data IS beautiful.
keeping a digital copy of important documents (in case of loss, fire, theft, etc.), Including a scan of your birth certificate, drivers license, etc. It can be your digital safe. Saving on cloud is an option. Yes, I can see someone already saying - it's not 100% safe. Correct. Nothing is. Not even your own fireproof safe at home. But realistically, with some basic computer security knowledge, safety practices, and researching - it's a good way to store your important papers and have them accessible anywhere (talking about cloud data storage).
your portal to learning everything, from new recipes to taking online courses from a number of sites, including free ones.

My advice is - learn how it all works. Once you understand the how, you will be able to see the various ways you can use this tool. Seriously. Take a computer course, even if it's watching YouTube how-to videos. Understanding how to keep it safe is key. Various programs come and go, but when you have an idea how some basic things work, it'll much easier to incorporate them into your life and select the correct one.

I use google drive spreadsheets for work and I really like them. As long as you aren’t doing anything too complicated (things that only work in Excel) it’s great because you can access it on your phone too and share it with your family digitally if you’d like. Oh and they save automatically as you work which is a huge plus.

I suggest using google keep for noting down random tidbits. Give it a try.
