Poe's Law.. I guess

Well it sounds like you are really crazy about her as much as you hate to admit it. Spot on again, how did you guess that?! ;) I am for sure. I love her. Ha, famous last words. You can maybe just turn the notch down from 11 to 9 on the hot and cold thing. Been considering this lately! I'll to be a bit less playful and see where it goes. Though I don't want to become boring and you know, I prefer being almost a jerk sometimes rather than going full mellow and "nice" all the time. I think the day …

She has a protective and caring dad and a very close and friendly mother. Both of her parents are really cool and healthy. I don't see anything that could come from there. Indeed, I think this is strictly personal insecurity. It's not normal to have anxiety-laden dreams about your boyfriend who loves you when he has given you no real reason to feel anxious. Totally.. and justly I'm thinking I might have been "gaming" her for too long, maybe. I always had fun creating a mystery around my feelings…

Yeah I know dude. All your points are right. She has to grow up. She will. I hope so. Though I didn't even mention something. I still haven't told her I never cheated on her and that I take this relationship as seriously as her. I might have been playing it cool too much for a girl of this type, so I'll tell her. I think she needs to hear this once and only once. I won't repeat it endlessly hoping she believes me. When I tell her something like "I love you and never cheated on you. I trust you, …

Immature. This is the most accurate term to explain her behavior dude. Btw she wasn't burned before, but as I replied earlier, she has seen a lot of breakups happen with her female friends who she helped when they were depressed about their boyfriends being immature cunts. She spent all her middle school years with fiends who got cheated on or dumped. That probably altered her vision of men as a whole. That combined to being inexperienced in relationships can only create insecurity. Plus she kno…

Hehe! 🤷🏻‍♂️ I'll tell her what I think and make her understand she needs to grow out of this immature state. If nothing changes it's clear that our relationship will be fucking up, so I'll tell her we should reconsider it completely. Thanks.

Thanks a lot for your input. And yeah it could be you acting all cool though, true. I am reading between the lines and I am guessing you are both young. If you mean not super emotional, not too romantic all the time (I love you an only you, you're my life, I want to live with you forever) then yes I guess I'm mostly acting cool with her, but I make sure to listen my true self and show enough affection in intimate moments. Spot on, we're not even 20 yet. As long as you aren't actually cheating on…

I get your point. Though I personally don't want to fuck other girls because I love her and it's currently killing my sexual instincts, even if of course I can't help but checking other girls out even in front of her. I think she would definitely get butthurt if I told her I wanted to fuck other girls, as I'm already teasing her so much with hot and cold shit. Do not give A SHIT. If possible, stop trying to hold frame and just straight up not care. Pretending you don't care when you do just take…

Yeah, classic move from certain types of cheaters, I agree. How experienced was she? How old? How were you behaving with her in general? Were you constantly validating her and showing too much love? I think I might be too mysterious with her because I play hot and cold a lot, and although she keeps chasing me and begging for more attention from me, she sometimes find me weird and impossible to read. That could help creating more insecurity..
/r/seduction04/05/18 02:02 PM

Justly, I will be clear, serious, and go straight to the point with her. I'll tell her I've never cheated on her, I love her and trust her. Now it's up to her to trust me or not. Would you go with something like this?
/r/seduction04/05/18 01:52 PM

Just before we were together, I remember her telling me she hasn't been in a relationship for years, partly because no one really caught her attention and also because she had many female friends who got dumped/cheated on. She was there to support them after each breakup and it contributed to her seeing men as constant cheaters and liars. These traumatic memories created a false image of men, which is sill in her mind today. As I'm very attractive to her, she fears being left for another "better…

Posts like this one are exactly why I take everything so skeptically in this sub. You had a jealous and neurotic girlfriend taking drugs, who became upset knowing you were doing fine while her life was going downhill. From that, you make conclusions and broad generalizations about women "wanting" men to be sadder than them. Complete nonsense. TRP has always taught us girls want confident and beaming men so they can reflect this happiness and feel as good as them - your happiness makes their happ…

The worst mistake I could make would be taking her for granted. I won't ever make such mistake. That's why I'm constantly gaming/teasing her and try to make things fun all the time.. maybe because I'm as scared of her... and there comes the classic romantic man mindset: what if? What if we both admitted to each other we want to live together? Would it consolidate our relationship? Would it kill it? Deep inside I know this is most likely not possible.. but then how some people managed to genuinel…

So you think all this talk might be her projecting herself cheating on me for the same reason she fears me cheating on her? This is crazy... I mean, plausible for sure, but if she's so attached and puts the guy on a pedestal so much, why would she have the mind to do the same things she fears the most?

Thanks for the checklist. x. Yes I care, probably too much. x. You're right, these are not my business, I won't be her confidant or her therapist. How do you know for sure she fears loosing you? I'm almost positive, not because she told me directly, but how she acts, what she does, how she reacts to my behaviors / actions / words, how and when she gets emotional, upset, jealous when women show attraction to me, then bring back the subject days later, how she's worried, imagining me cheating on her when I'm out for the night and don't reply for hours, how often she checks her phone to see if I've read the message, when she told me she dream…

Please read the rest of the post - you might have some more things to suggest me. Especially the TL;DR... I just read "handling the talk", nice tips, though I didn't understand why he doesn't recommend non-sexual affection - basically teasing to me?

Quiet simply; no. Though in the long term, I'm not sure, you can't control anyone's actions and anything might happen at anytime.

Isn't pretending she doesn't even exist at all a little bit extreme? Please elaborate on that? If I were a woman dating a dude who acts like I don't even exist to him, I wouldn't stay with him long I guess.

Been lurking here for a little while and a few recurrent questions keep popping in my head: Will all women eventually cheat on or dump their beta man at some point? Then why and how some healthy and long (sometimes lifetime) LTRs work, while the dude is a complete beta? How the f*** his woman remains faithful until they break up or one of them dies? It surely exists, but how does it even work? I know a dude who's been with a girl in the same school than him since 3 years, and he's the perfect ex…

Yes! This is what I've been doing a lot and it seems to work well. She always reply "ok .. 🙄 at least you're being honest with me. Why didn't you tell me sooner?" She seems to love playing this game, so why not continue in the same direction.

What would you recommend then? How should I react at that exact moment she tells me stuff like that? I'm getting really mixed opinions in this thread.

Could you elaborate? How does this apply to this situation?
/r/seduction28/03/18 05:05 PM

I was justly imagining saying this in a mocking tone like to mimic her. What about that ?
/r/seduction28/03/18 04:37 PM

Isn't replying "stop that" overreacting a bit? I mean, I'm not in your shoes so I don't know how insistent your GFs were with this, but to me it's nothing more than either awkwardly asking for attention, just like you said - or purposely shit-testing you to see how you react. But I understand your point of view, you don't seem to want to play with such things.

I don't spend much time with her, we don't live really far away but our agendas allow us to see each other maybe 1-2 days a week (only, yes). So each time we see each other it gets pretty intense. So for you the "ignore" reaction would work? Like keeping it silent the whole time? Knowing her, she would insist a bit and then lay on the bed in my opposite direction to act upset, waiting for me to join her.

Thanks for your input. How should I bring that to her? I don't want to sound too serious and concerned by this... it's just her playing a tough game, not her cheating on me after all.

You're certainly right on the more agressive part. She already told me I was too soft with her. However I feel that most of the time, the more I get agressive and try to get what I want, the more she acts defensive and resists even more, even if she loves that. Then if I ignore her for a while to make her think I give up, she will act needy and eventually chase me right after. This is so fucking peculiar because you never know what to do in a given time. She always change her mind. One time a st…

Thanks for your input. Though I don't see myself making the effort to end most conversations with an unnatural ready-made text saying obvious things like "I'm busy, I'll text you later".. it's text, I mean, I could get back to her at any time I want, we're not 200 years ago writing letters with carrier pigeons... :) That's why I don't feel doing this "sacrifice" more than she would make the "sacrifice" to accept I can't reply all the time.
/r/seduction13/02/18 07:46 AM
1

Great points. Indeed I don't think changing my habits like that would feel natural. I never say things like "I'll catch you later" or "gotta leave you for x time, I'm busy" .. I sometimes do this on the phone but not often. Texting is so instantaneous that I don't see the need of letting people know when you have to "leave" (while you never really leave your phone).. if I don't reply, it's probably because I can't at the moment. That's my POV of course.

Seriously, reading all this just makes me think you're taking everything too seriously and lack hindsight about how people behave in general. Stop taking everything people tell you literally and step back a bit. You're not the ultimate alpha male surrounded by insecure twats. Your need to value yourself so much here and the way you replied to comments in this thread kinda makes me wonder if you're either truly narcissistic, or if you lack self-confidence yourself.

At some point a girl needs to be mature enough to be capable of making a commitment and honoring it instead of making every decision based on what feels good in the moment and letting you go just bc she doesnt feel excited today. Great point! I guess it's something I'll know as time goes.
/r/seduction29/01/18 08:07 PM

Thanks so much for the reply. Gonna think about this for sure. Is it the only working "strategy" to keep a girl addicted? When do you know you reached the point of not needing to game her?

Great points, thanks a lot. Although I don't think I lack need for sex at all, I do hesitate sometimes because I'm scared of rejection. But I shouldn't actually.

You're probably right. My hesitation makes her hesitating too. She's gorgeous and I can bet she definitely isn't thinking about nexting me so I should take this chance to show her what I'm capable of :) Thanks man.

Don't understand the downvotes here. Raw but true. What do you want us to say? This is an advice sub, so people are willing to give you advice only if you have actual things to share and ask. Right now you're just grumbling and telling everyone how shitty you are. That's not the kind of attitude this sub is encouraging. Dude, you like this girl? Take your balls and go talk to her next time, you won't regret it. You have nothing to lose.
/r/seduction27/01/18 08:09 PM

I understand your surprise, maybe he's doing something wrong, but you should give him advice and tell him how you managed to get two numbers while being shy instead of discouraging him by telling him to stop trying... this is not what this sub is about.
/r/seduction27/01/18 10:05 AM
1

You're so right. It's all about compromises. If you want to keep her you have to accept she can't be with you all the time even if you want her. I was wondering, is it better to "do" a lot but not often, or to do often but not a lot? In other words, show her you love her and do intense things with her, but not so often so you create addiction and impatience, or see her more regularly but never show too much love to keep her wondering indefinitely about you and seeking your love? That's a dilemma…

It's my first serious relationship so yes, I'm new to this. What can I do right now? Stay the same and let stuff happen or invest more on my side to show I'm receptive to her?

Why would it be? I'd like to have your take on this...
/r/seduction26/01/18 09:59 AM

Lol, actually I found allusions to kids really cute and heartwarming. I'm probably too romantic inside, I need to work on that :D It started with me playing a game, (asking questions to each other one at a time) and asking "when do we get married?" with a deliberate laugh so she takes it easy, but her next question was about children.
/r/seduction26/01/18 09:57 AM

How should I behave right now? Be receptive to her feelings and invest at the same level than her or keep that slightly inferior emotional investment to make her stay in this phase? She sometimes complain I don't talk enough to her on the phone, for instance. Several times she mentioned one time when I took a photo with another girl who was supposedly attracted to me and told me how she smiled at the moment but was jealous inside. Then one day, one of her female relatives asked if she could give…
