Well that's a rotten thing for her to say to you. The problem is, if you get divorced, that will destroy the happiness of your existing child. Don't kid yourself - divorce is utterly destuctive to children (shown in study after study). Your child wants and expects mom and dad to model "good behavior" for him/her. Good behavior means "not quitting a lifetime commitment because you're running into trouble". Plus, you'd be surpised, having another child is not that much more expensive. So my advice…

If women are in trouble, all of society is wired automatically to help them. That has been true for all of human history. Most stable societies also have specific mechanisms in place (usually different ones) to help men and boys in trouble. Military, career, service jobs, men's clubs, Boy Scouts, etc etc. It's just common sense - you can't have a long term successful society when half your population is left to rot. However, the Feminists in the past 50 years or so have carefully elimininated al…

"Patriarchy" is a great example of a "Conspiracy Fallacy". It's a self-referential fallacious way of thinking that is very common in cults and in the paranoid mentally ill. It works like this: you believe that "There is an organized conspiracy that is out to get me." That's perfectly circular, because anybody (like a therapist) who tries to reason with you can simply be lumped as one of "them". "Feminist theory" is a classic grab-bag collection of these types of cult memes. It's actually easy to…

LIfe gets better when you get out on your own. Get a job, work on your career if you have one, or just earn your own money and move out. Yes you can divorce your parents. It's easy. Move away. Give it 5-10 years and then decide how you feel about her.

It sounds like you don't have a lot of money, right? So you have to be super careful to try to get the right person. You don't have time to take risks with people who are unlkely to work out. Your best odds of success will be with a male therapist. And nobody should give you any shit for this. Women can ask for "female doctors" if they are uncomfortable getting examined by men. You have every right to ask for a male doctor or therapist for the same reason.
/r/MensRights20/02/22 09:34 AM

Male doctors, attorneys and therapists are more likely to have compassion for their male clients because they understand the struggle of being male. Female doctors etc are less likely to have compassion for their clients...they just do their job and don't care otherwise.

I'm glad to see the OP's post. It shows the simple truth: Feminism is based entirely on a lie. The lie: "Women historically were oppressed by men". The truth: "Women historically were treated extremely well by men." Feminism, as a movement, was based on "cherrypicking" - ie, you ignore all examples of women being treated well by men, and only focus on the examples of women treated badly by men. Modern women are trained from birth to do this... to ignore any facts that contradict their victimhood…

LIE -- "Women were oppressed" TRUTH -- "Men have fought and died, been burned, torn, and mutilated, sacrificed everything for hundreds of thousands of years to protect women. Women have existed on a pedestal as the most spoiled creatures on this planet."

LOL. Like most modern people, you've obviously never missed a meal in your life. Your sole exposure to hardship is a momentary slowdown in your WiFi. When faced with a few days of hunger or true danger, you'd sell your "freedom" in a microsecond.

Good list. I'd add: Does she have kids? Run away. Is she a career woman? Run away. OK if she has a job, but it should not be a big deal (ie, hairdresser, retail, maybe accounting). Career women will ALWAYS divorce you eventually. Is she at the same socioeconomic level as you? Ok to marry down just a bit but not too far. Does she want to be a good mother to your children? That's the only reason to get married anyway.
/r/MensRights07/02/22 02:57 AM

I think that marriage is better than dating. By age 30, it's nice to start a family. But marriage in the USA is incredibly dangerous as you know. Odds are you'll end up with some hideous career woman who will divorce rape you. I married happily many many years ago but I think, I was the tail end of that era, when women weren't quite such vile scum. I carefully chose a non-career woman but even then, my wife is a hell of a lot of work and it's touch and go. Sorry, no good advice that I can think …
/r/MensRights07/02/22 02:51 AM

Actually I don't think the men 150 years ago were stupid. They didn't have to keep women "in check" as much, because starvation, disease, and disasters were already keeping women in check. Those were negative externalities that kept women from going crazy with greed. We live in such an abundant and rich era, we forget how different it was back then. Women for the most part treated men with love in that time, because those women saw starvation staring them in the face every single day. They saw t…

Actually, I propose that "equality" between men and women is negotiated a million times a day, all over the world. We are a very complex partnership. Both men and women are equally "strong" but in different ways. Men are physically strong and control the meat and territory. Women are emotionally and sexually strong and control the children and community. We are exactly 50/50 in strength, numbers, and power. So we have 50/50 negotiation power. It really is that simple.

I agree with you completely. If I appeared from my writings to disagree with you, please accept my apologies. MGTOW is a old and honorable tradition. Men just walk away and let women starve for a few generations. Wait for the women to come back to their senses and kick the feminist idiots out of town. Then men and women can again rebuild a balanced society.

Starvation, disease, and disaster are the ultimate oppressors. Men shouldered most of that burden, creating a shelter, in exchange for sex and respect from women. Feminists are too stupid or too evil to understand what a good deal it was. So they are blowing up the whole lovely system, so that everybody goes back to suffering again.

I understand. I would say then, focus on building your career. Many men have lived without women but could look back at satisfaction on the contributions they made to the world, or simply satisfying their urge to create. Personally, and this is just my opinion, I think every man will some day face a moment when he and he alone will be in the position to do something important - save a child from a burning building, cut a whale loose from a fishing net, rebuild a beautiful old house, or write a g…

Claims of "systemic discrimination against women" are of course utter nonsense. All of human society, all technology, agriculture, tools, fire and society, was created explicitly to serve and protect women. Women get EVERYTHING already. They simply ignore that truth and cherrypick a few minor things that they are deprived of, so they can have an excuse to screw men even more. Feminists are the ultimate greedpigs.

Women don't care about ugly. They care about success. They love money and power. The ugliest, shortest guy on the planet will have plenty of women if he's rich. So really, your mission is to make more money. I realize that's frickin hard in today's world, but that's the truth as I know it. Good luck. You are not alone, most young men are in the same position. I do not envy young men today.

The vote is a classic Feminist BS argument. It's so tiresome. Women didn't have the vote because they didn't care about the vote. They literally DID NOT CARE. Voting back then was considered "1-vote per family" or "1-vote per landowner" and women told their husbands "you handle it" It was literally delegated to men by women because women were busy and didn't want to be bothered with the hassle of riding down to the town hall (a diffcult trip on horseback or carriage) to cast a vote. It was almos…

I never said women weren't oppressed. I said men were on averge, just as oppressed, if not more so. That is what makes feminism a lie from day 1. Because feminism has consistently, routinely, refused to look honestly at oppression suffered by males. Men's thousands of years of suffering and sacrifice - to protect women - is simply made invisible. SCAM

Feminism claims that over the course of history, women have been MORE oppressed than men. That they got a rotten deal and that Feminism was required to "fix it" so they got an equal deal. This is a fundamental lie. It isn't true. It was never true. If you look honestly at the relative powers and benefits of being female and being male, over the history of the human race, women on average have ALWAYS gotten the better deal. Feminists make women's lives appear to be worse by ignoring the benefits …

Everybody was oppressed. Male and female. Life was harsh. Feminism has trained you to only look at the female examples of oppression. I'm telling you to look at BOTH female oppression and male oppression and compare the two sides. Honestly. Without gaslighting. Were females MORE oppressed than males were oppressed? No? Then feminism is a lie.

Concise, perfectly accurate description. Bravo. i especially like this phrase: "Most men and women in society were always oppressed, and men bore the lion's share of it" By the way, you also mention "unfeminine, unattractive, lesbian-leaning" feminists. I think these low-status-loser women, who became feminists, have always existed in every society for all of human history. However in the past, they were strictly controlled by the married women (who controlled the "female" side of any given vill…

I'll support all solutions. I just know that the legal system is almost impossible to fix because it's completely dominated by feminism. I see no way for the masses of oppressed men to stop this runaway train with "talking" or "reason". Remember that human society is genetically wired to ignore the needs of young men and emphasize women. That's wiring straight to the mammalian instinct centers. You can't bypass it with arguments. You will not be heard.

Feminism is a system of thinking that ignores any reality whatsoever. It's a lie. It was always a lie. Once a group of people (ie, women) start down the path of living their lives based on a lie, there is no way to put the brakes on. It slides faster and faster until it destroys them.
/r/MensRights06/02/22 08:34 AM

Feminists label men as toxic because Feminists have been brainwashed into seeing all men as evil cartoon villains. Men are perpetual bad guys. Women are perpetual victims. In other words....feminists are nuts. You can't fix people who are nuts, nor can you take responsiblity for them or even endure them. Your sole remedy is to walk away (mentally at least) and let the nutty people destroy themselves and the society they inhabit. Then after the smoke clears, you come back and rebuild.

Sure, women got full alimony, but they were dramatically less likely to file divorce, so the question is moot. And no, that was certainly not the "height of divorce rape". You have no idea what you are talking about. The term didn't even exist back then.
/r/MensRights06/02/22 06:22 AM

The Gender Pay Gap is a sign of a healthy society, because it shows that women are taking care of their children and their husbands are working hard to provide for them.

When every man is in prison, dead, or homeless, they will always find new ways to blame men. Because it was never a balanced or honest philosophy from the beginning. Feminist leaders need reasons to stay in power and make their salaries. So they'll always make men into the boogyman to scare up donations.
/r/MensRights06/02/22 03:24 AM

No, my argument is that women have been getting a sweet deal for all of history. Men had some advantages, women had other advantages, but if you balance the advantages and disadvantages fairly, women always were better off. Feminism from day 1 was based on a simple strategy: ignore the advantages historically given to women, and magnify the advantages given to men, so that feminists can (falsely) claim that women need "equality". It's a scam. It was always a scam. And when you look at the collap…

Much more bullying, much more hateful treatment of gays and minorities for sure. But the attitude by women towards men was dramatically less angry and hateful. Yes, I"m aware of the SCUM manifesto. I agree about SA. I think in those days, it was under-reported. Girls were afraid they'd be called sluts, etc and be blamed. In today's world, I think it's over kill the other direction - making too many young men into monsters. SA is a very difficult topic to find any realistic solutions, because sexuality is primitive and hard to control.

Your comment insults and demeans men my age - by implying that there is something to be "feared" if I'm interacting with 17 year old girls. Hello. I have 2 fabulous daughters and am a teacher. You are age-discriminating and male-discriminating. Shame on you.

Just as an addendum. Some people have said "how does this relate to men's rights?" That's a fair question so I'll address it. This has everything to do with men's rights. The point I made in my post (which so many people are busily ignoring) is that women (n this example high school girls) mostly did not hate men 40 years ago, as the way they do now. There was not a "culture of man-hatred". As a result, we didn't have women divorce-raping men as much. Because women simply never thought to do so.…

Agree completely. This is the simple truth that so many of the posters on this board seem unwilling or unable to comprehend. Women in those days were religious, strict, and ladylike. They firmly believed that it was THEIR job to civilize us brutish males, so to speak. They went to "home economics" classes and were taught to keep their legs crossed, not to get into cars with strange men, and not to have sex if at all possible until marriage (although of course this was routinely ignored, they sti…

I'm not judging. I'm just describing how they looked back then. Long curly hair was in style by those girls. Lesbianism was totally hated on by those girls. Tatoos were despised by those girls. Do you want me to accurately describe what those girls were like in the past? Ok that's what I did. Feel free to dislike their views all you want, but don't turn this into a personal attack on me. The vast majority of divorces are filed by women. So your comment is nonsensical.
/r/MensRights05/02/22 07:10 PM

Great comment. This is the key to the future of society. The collapse of the male-femaie pairbond in today's society will lead - must lead inevitably - to econonomic decline. "What happens when half the human population suddenly decides to screw over the other half and stop having any children?". Um, well, that's not a complicated question at all: that society collapses, either into war, revolution, or overthrow by another, less conflicted culture.
/r/MensRights05/02/22 07:10 PM

You are right, women were "expected" to be more womanly. But who expected this? Other women. As any good anthropologist would tell you, women have their own "society" in almost all cultures, and they enforce their own rules on their daughters. Cray-cray Feminism has taught people "it's all men's fault" but that is untrue. Older women created their own society and enforced those rules on younger women.
/r/MensRights05/02/22 07:06 PM

Your comment is breathtaking in it's ability to completely ignore the world. My god. You are sitting and typing on a computer that is the end result of 400,000 years of endless, relentless effort by billions of men, to create tools, shelter, and safety for their wives and children. Men have ALWAYS stepped up and provided, as a group. You would not be alive if that were not true.
/r/MensRights05/02/22 07:02 PM
-1

Yes but they are out-yelled. Women generally are much more dependent on the consensus of other women. That may be social conditioning or it may be genetic, but it is true. So if there are large groups of cray-cray feminists yelling "men are evil" it takes a lot of effort for feminine girls to fight back.
/r/MensRights05/02/22 06:57 PM
1

OK Fair response. On the other hand, I might be a very accurate observer (in fact I am). Go back to records of the 70s and look at pictures of girls in high school. Look at how many of those women got married young and had successful families. Look at the statistics for today's young women of the same age. You'll see a precipitous drop. Look at the rates of lesbianism/tatoos and other kinds of "rebellious" activity in high-school-age women. They were almost non-existent.
/r/MensRights05/02/22 06:54 PM

It's not "my version of reality". Stop personalizing my comments. I'm just pointing out a scientific fact: the male/female pairbond is one of the most powerful if not the most powerful tools every evolved in the animal world. Because it doubles the economic value available to raise children and build society.
/r/MensRights05/02/22 06:48 PM

I agree. At my campus (note: I am a teacher) I'm personally seeing a massive shift by young women back to more traditional roles. I could speculate all day about why this is, but that's another post.
