My uncle served in ww2, my dad served in vietnam, and most of my extended family died in the camps. Dont make this a competition, my guy.

Cured is a really harmful misuse of a word. War vets are never cured of their flashbacks and pain, its just managed, likewise with significant physical/emotional/sexual trauma, it doesnt go away. Even with active and concentrated effort and medication. Ive been working on it since i was a teenager, all the while compounding trauma by dating incels. You cant also gatekeep what trauma is. Many people get attacked by a dog for example and are peramnently afraid of dogs, even with exposure therapy, …

It isnt a disease. This is just plain wrong. It has permanent effects of the brain. It is about management, not a cure.

Trauma cant be "cured", it can only be managed and really, the idea that you can dictate what qualifies as trauma and not understand that trauma is a response, makes me really unable to discuss this with you. Without equal base knowledge we cant understand each other. I can only say you dont understand what trauma is or the effect it has on the brain.

I hope you dont see that as the majority of actual feminists. Men have been victimized by the patriarchy too, (policing what is manly, how men arent as good as women at childrearing, labelling self care behaviours and emotions as gay, so much more.) Those people who attack men as men are not claimed by feminists. They are likely gen z's with unaddressed mental illnesses and trauma, which doesnt make them less or "crazy" but should be separated from the movement.

Depising all men is unaddressed trauma, which is understandable, but not an excuse. Depising all women is usually based in entitlement and being rejected imo.

This is absolutely correct in my opinion. In any situation, it is hard to hear that you are wrong, naturally we all want to be right. I see a double standard that many cis men will use their experience to justify their views, but the same isnt allowed for me when I talk about growing up as a femme. I will talk about how myself and all my afab or female friends prefer a thicker man, or even an unconventionally attractive man and will immediately be shut down, mostly because guys blame their lack …

They are typically engineers, artists of some kind, or both. They see me as an olive skinned manic pixie dream girl. Im an extrovert and a painter/writer and have big weird girl energy. They tend to be white men with beards or nerdy black men or trans women. Theyre also almost always Cancer as a star sign. Not relevant but a funny coincidence. I personally like beefy, barrel chested guys. I like to cook, have a medium curvy build and want a guy to eat. I usually make them fatter.

Ew. once a week is maintenance Bodies are not cars. Im sorry society has given so many people warped ideas of sex. And no, to generalize your "scenario" as many women is totally wrong. From the experience of being femme and being with women as well as men, women have the higher libidos. So when a woman does want to, it usualyl has to do with how they feel about their spouse. (Outside of any asexual orientation)

Whenever the mood is right. I dont get why people focus on numbers. You could have sex everyday, but if isnt intense, and personal, and intimate, what is the actual point? It isnt as good if you arent building it up. It isnt good if you arent reaching some new depth. It isnt good if you dont feel connected. If it isnt any of that, all it is is an assisted orgasm. I can do that myself. I dont need anyone to have a great orgasm, so having sex with someone else needs to mean something. I dont care …

Im ignoring the condescension and entitlement of that last sentence. Apart of patriarchy is policing the emotional reactions and expression of women and men. Too emotional? Unstable for women. Weak for men. Its the same. Emotions delegitimize the claims and stryggles of human beings.

Have you tried asking more beta women this? Because no. Ive lived my life in a large family and as an extroverted woman. Many women do see me as an introvert but Im just quiet when I know Im in the presence of a mean girl. And mean girls are literally a trope, its in every movie. The female pack has been for decades defined by toxicity and abuse. A well defined support network is rare and seen as unrelateable. Typically women have one female friend, if that. And usually that person is a cousin. …

All of the points you listed apply to women too. Women use other womens experience as a weapon against them Them being in a difficult position, abused, vulnerable is seen as a weakness Women view other women as competition. Its literally the same. Women arent all woohoo band together sisterhood! Patriarchy tends to pit women against each other.

Third wave feminism can be used for good when you approach it rationally. Patriarchy hurts everyone. Destroy the gender roles that hurt men. I get a lot of criticism on my parenting when my son wears a dress, Im not making him a woman, Im removing the idea that dresses are womens clothes. My family thinks its gay that he has dolls. He just wants to be a dad when he grows up. Thats all. They need to fuck off with sexist shit.

I appreciate the points here. Yeah thats an unequal thing. Women are taught to be social and typically have groups of friends or at least a few confidantes but you dont see men with deep emotional connections to other men. That also feeds a toxic idea that their should lean too far on their female spouse for support, which is unfair to both people, creat8ng the mom-girlfriend. Its why i destroy gender roles with my kids. My son has his emotions nurtured and is brought up affectionate with babydo…

I just disagree about personalitybeing the main variable. Ive gone on dates with guys that were NOT conventionally attractive but after talking to them, they became attractive. I always just put myself out there without expectation. My first marriage was to someone who was self described as an ugly troll. I guess thats just me though. Edit to add: no hearing it from a woman is valueable too. Straight men need their mothers to set their standards. I have a son. Hes my little goblin and is true ch…

You can call yourself content but still have periods of feeling lonely and it doesnt negate the label of contentment. I am a biological female so I lack some weight to my opinion on a mens issue. I wonder if miserable single men are miserable because they define happiness by having a partner, and slash or feel entitledto one. Thats not how relationships work. I notice men feel that if they arrive at societal expectations that women should flock to them when it has more to do with how men mature …

You know that labia change sizes when a woman is aroused right. Just making sure. Usually they are all tucked in, but then hang loose with increased blood flow. Its like a nutsack that shrinks and then sags. Women argue with you because you dont understand anatomy. It isnt always about being born lengthy.

Agree to all of this, but an interesting thing I want to add is that I courted men the way I courted women. I have diverse love languages since physical isnt necessar8ly intimacy. I tell men how attractive I think they are, they get angry or uncomfortable. Like, your shirt looks so good on you. Or "damn youre handsome" or just "bubbah butt bubbah butt" I have bought them flowers, remembered their drink order and I found that every man aside from my husband expressed feeling emasculinated by simp…

It doesnt matter the money someone makes or if they arent a cheater, if they are insufferable or dont smell right Im just not into them. There is more to attraction than money and security. I feel safe by myself and Im secure by myself. Any relationship I choose to have is a bonus. Im married now, but I have always had this view. So does my husband. He didnt need women to validate himand I dont need men to validate me. I was attracted to him because hes the same type of weird as me, and very sof…

I dontbelieve that at all. men go through changes when they care for a child, is it as extreme as the one who gave birth? No. But it is still there. They need help too. Raising kids is fucking difficult. Obv shaking a baby is completely different. But i mean the nuanced mistakes that come from snapping. What if its two women raising a baby? The other mom would undergo changes too. Its dramatic and emotional.

You are knee jerking because there is no taking factors into account because you have no reference. Sorry your parents were mean to you but punishing this mom isnt going to make your parents suddenly accountable for how they treated you. Edit, and again, offering support is not a release of accountability

If someone has no custodial children they have no knowledge of what having a newborn is like and the effect the stress can have. Good parents have struck children as a reflex or a moment of weakness and it should not negate all the things they do right. We had and have a safety system, if we are too frustrated we ask the other to step in no questions asked, i have gotten to the point where I thought i was going to snap with my kids, but again, we talk and we have a system.so i totally understand…

Obviously not. I know women who gravitate towards bigger men. Myself included. Youre just outing yourself as a big guy who blames his weight on his lack of romantic success. Guarantee its likely your personality. I talk to big guys first. My ex was 4 inches shorter than me and was husky. Im tall and lean. I divorced because they were emotionally and physically abusive, not because they were generally ugly by societal standards. Edit to add: he needs to weigh more than me by a lot so he can toss …

Lol saying everyone deserves love doesbt mean everyone gets it, incels deserve love but their repulsive behaviour will drive anyone away. Self improvement, maturity, and compassion. Youre confusing deserving to acting entitled. Two difference ideologies. Your argument is flawed in general with fallacy. And i dont pay attention to height and weight because depending on body type 180 lbs can look very different on different heights and general body types. I said husky men, thats enough of a defini…

We arent defending harm of a child. We are discussing the effects having kids can have. Many make mistakes bevause of the aforementioned issues. Obviously if someone shakes a baby there needs to be intervention. But his argument is inherently flawed by an appeal to extremes.

If I have a lazy overweight friend who's struggling with women, what I tell him is...why the hell aren't you in the gym 5 days a week? I assure you no one is saying this. Ive always seen male positivity for overweight men who want love. We all deserve love and i havent seen this double standard, what i have seen though is men using their weight as an excuse for why women are shallow and dont like them when their personality is what drives women away. I personally like fat guys.the husky guys tha…

People underestimate the dramatic psychological changes bodies go through after childbirth. Doesnt matter if its either parent. Its extremely taxing and youre sleep deprived. Ive had intrusive thoughts with my children that distressed me a lot. I developed bipolar disorder after my second child, it literally changes your entire body chemistry. Im having our third and already feel substantial (positive) psychological changes. I also know a person who developed schizophrenia after having a baby an…

Oh trust me he is super handsome and I cant wait to marry him, ha. No he can take of himself but he cant get organized or follow through. Adhd means time blindness and often runs the clock out to get things done. Well, thats a fallacy of extremes youre edging on. Being a slob isnt the poster of unattractive. You should see my husband. Hes inattentive adhd and i am severe adhd. He is passionate and its super attractive,(both in personality and in looks hehe) but I swear if he didnt have me and my autistic control issues this man would be lost. You cant generalize what women want. We all want different things. Some just wanna netflix and chill, some want a relationship, some want marriage. The bar for cis male partners is low, Im going to tell you that. For me, ambition has nothing to do with it. I want to see passion. Finding anything they love, cooking, programming, drawing- I want to see them excited and in love with something and rant for hours about it. I want them to point out their interest and maybe be a little embarrassed abou…
