There have been studies on who's idea the divorce was. About 90% of the time, the woman said the divorce was her idea. Interestingly, about half of the men who thought the divorce was their idea were actually in a mutual divorce - the woman wanted a divorce, but she made it seem like the husband's idea. For instance, cheating on your husband in hopes he will divorce you.

As far as male fiction goes, this isn't true. The women in fiction meant to appeal to men aren't a nightmare at all. It is at the point where men meme about killing themselves because they will never find a woman as good as the ones in fiction.

Men don't care what women believe in general. It only becomes a problem if she doesn't stop talking about it.

It is called a shit test. It is used to gauge your reaction. If they see you as a source of resources, they want to see you act positively to this. If they see you as a source of sex, they want to see you act negatively.

...Obviously. It is also shit science. A sample of nothing but students at a single school will only be representative of that school's demographics. Sociology is a fucking joke science already, and then they go and let these joke polls get published.

It is because that is the only place these garbage studies cover. They literally walk around their college campus polling kids and calling it "science".

Teenaged boys tend to prefer youthful girls over more feminine women. Teenaged girls tend to prefer youthful boys over more masculine men. Some older men and women never grow out of that attraction, so they prioritize youth, which tends to be more feminine for men.

I've definitely heard simp a lot, so I'm glad I was wearing a mask or they would see me grinning like an idiot. 12 is definitely when things start going to shit, though. I dealt with this professionally and had to get CPS involved multiple times. This is far more widespread than most people think due to the FSM. Put one broken girl in a classroom, and the rest will idolize her for being a slut like every single one of their favorite music artists. Also, parents: If your young daughter has a comp…

That isn't ironic. Literally everything you see around you was created by men to benefit women. Men would still be living off the land like medieval homesteaders if they didn't have to simp for women.

Being old is correlated with being fat. Being old has a strong correlation to death. Obesity does increase fatality for young people, but it is the difference between being struck by lightning three times instead of just twice in terms of chance.

The vast majority of all of your behaviors and beliefs are based on the anecdotal experience of yourself, your parents, or your community. Relying on your circular logic to dismiss that is ridiculous. More importantly, when science tells you that cows should float and be spherical based on surveys and data, all it takes is a dose of reality to realize those surveys and data are incomplete and worthless.

And when your conclusion does not have a single iota of anecdotal evidence(reality) to support it, maybe you skipped a step somewhere, like the social sciences tend to do. For instance, men will be more likely to back out when their lawyers tell them, "I know this judge, you are fucked. Stop wasting money." and they are more likely to negotiate when they actually have a chance to negotiate.

The greatest philosophers of all time used nothing but anecdotal evidence to accurately assess societal truths. In other words, you don't see a slew of stories about women getting fucked by the courts, do you?

One interesting facet of those divorces initiated by men is that they often believe the divorce is solely their idea, when it is actually a mutual divorce. The implication there is that the man initiated the divorce, but the woman likely intentionally sabotaged the relationship to get him to divorce her.

Normalizing and accepting that cheaters are above punishment is what leads to murders... In an extreme example, do you think people would slap, beat, or kill the cheater if cheating was against the law? No, they would just call the cops. If cheating made you a leper to society where people laugh as you are hit and abused, you sure as fuck are going to think twice about cheating.

The scenario is believable enough, but it is definitely fake. Male and female writing styles are pretty distinct, and this is male. If this were real, the writer would seem much more virtuous, and much more like a victim. They would use, "I felt" and "I thought" much more, they would avoid any and all sympathy for the other involved individuals, and there would be several logical inconsistencies from the twisted truth they use to make themselves look better. This is too logical and concise. It d…

I wasn't speaking specifically about you. I obviously don't know your circumstances. That drunk chick making out with you can suddenly "wake up" and freak out about what she is doing.

That is one side of the story. The other side is the skanky drunk chick that is happily being fondled by this guy until a moment of exhausted lucidity changes her mind. "Waking up" means something else when you are drunk.

REDFLAG! You have no proof of your claims! It is 2020, we now know that there isn't a single sociological study that could even come close to being labeled as "proof". Weighing anecdote and those shitty papers against one another, it is difficult to say which is more reliable.

One study I saw a while back shows something obvious that may not be considered - they claimed that about 10% percent of divorces were initiated by men who mistakenly thought it was exclusively their idea, against the wife's wishes. That is to say, women sabotaged marriages in hopes that the husband would divorce them.

Well, yes, that is the point. They can consent, and if they are consenting, there is no problem because it is just an "activity." If it were sex, the adult would get arrested regardless of how enthusiastically the child consented, because sex is more than just an activity.

Children aren't able to consent to wrestling? Lock me up, then.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/20 11:48 PM

Yes, a vaccine has meaning. The upcoming vaccine was put through in less than a year, so people will rightfully be hesitant to allow it into their body. Children don't understand the ramifications, so it is up to the parents. Are children unable to consent to tag or wrestling? Should we start charging people with rape for picking children up? If sex doesn't have meaning, then it is basically just wrestling that feels good.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/20 04:43 PM
2

We can pretend it doesn't, but sex has meaning. If it is just a harmless activity, there is no reason children can't participate.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/20 03:55 PM

Why can't two people who vibe one night have sex without their husband/wife going nuclear on them? Why is rape a crime? Why can't children consent to sex if it is just an activity? Sex has implications.

Yeah, this study went into the dumpster the moment it mentions "expressed preferences". You are going to have me believe a billion dollar polling industry cannot answer "who will you vote for" twice in a row, but a few grad students can accurately glean what the nation's women prefer?

Being extremely generous with this view... you are saying that today's unofficial harems borne from Tinder and Bumble are stealing more women away from average Joes than a polygamist society would allow? If a top man is no longer allowed to use Tinder in a polygamist society(perhaps his wives forbid it), then why would he bother accepting these women... as his women?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/20 01:57 AM

"Women Accepting Polygamy Will Make Everyone Happier except the 80% of men who don't have harems" Polygamist societies barely avoided implosion by wrapping women in blankets, forcing them to always be accompanied, and by sending men to constantly rape and die in Jihad. Unless you think civilization falling apart will make everyone happier, I can't help but wonder if you thought this through.

Women think men have it better because they’re able to protect themselves a shit ton easier. Men are victims of random violence and homicide about five times as often as women. Being big and strong doesn't mean shit when the other person has a knife, a taser, bear spray, or a gun... or if they just bring more than one person. Men do give a fuck about security - they just don't complain about it.

Mcdowell had been investigating sex crimes in the Air Force for decades - he wasn't some nobody. He pissed off some feminist politician with this study, and his career was nuked. Every trace of the study is gone, as far as I can tell. The 60% number is believable, but shaky, and likely the excuse they used to censor the study. The 27% is much more significant, because those admissions are straight from the horses mouth - nothing can be denied there.
