Gross. Pro tip: don't date that girl, she's awful. The mentality that women are good for only their looks and men are only good for their paychecks is disgusting to me personally.

It was ridiculous, and got way too much positive feedback!

I said that because I was calling out another post from the same day, which was obviously written by a man pretending to be a woman. I was in no way attempting to blow anyone's mind with secrets or re-write the book.

You might be right, obviously I haven't tried the tactic so I can't say if it works or not. I am not a knockout, but I have several very beautiful friends. What I hear from them is more "omg this dude followed me around the grocery store, I was just trying to buy spaghetti sauce and he kept trying to talk to me and tell me I'm pretty." Just...try to read the room, and look for wedding rings, ear buds, and other signs that a woman isn't looking for attention.

A book store is a great place to start a convo over a shared interest rather than a compliment. Compliments back a woman into a corner - she can say "thanks" or "I know, right?" Or " don't talk to me I have a boyfriend". If you say "hey, I see you have the new book by so-and-so, did you enjoy their last one?" You set up a conversation that is open ended.

Some dudes got really mad about this post. I was genuinely surprised, but then again, its the Reddit.

It seems pretty straightforward, dude. And ask the woman in the bookstore about her book, don't compliment her tits. What's your Dad going to teach you....how to bang your Mom?

Sounds attractive to me! Of course, there are women who love a bumbling shy guy or a clean cut office worker type. You never know what will push someone's buttons.

I found it by accident a while back and expected it to be incel-y....and instead, read a lot of nice posts from guys trying to help eachother reach their full potential. I was really surprised and happy about it. Occasionally I check it and if I see terrible advice being given I'll jump in and say "I'm a woman, that's creepy AF", or "Please don't do that, try this instead", but mostly I stay silent as it's not my arena and not my sub.

There are lots of studies on the pay issue, it's easy to research if you're interested. That second bit is ridiculous and untrue. People in general are marrying later in life, and that's a normal trend in every 1st world country as people have more access to education. Do you think men are walking around going "I would love to get married, but a woman will eventually take my kids and paycheck. Instead I'll impregnate some woman, not commit to being a father, she'll have custody, and the court wi…

I agree 100%. Often I'll find myself attracted to someone and wonder "why does this person do it for me? That came out of left field". Attraction is hard to predict or quantify.

Ok, in general I'd say don't bother someone who seems deep in conversation or in a big hurry walking down the street. But if it's a group casually walking, asking for info would probably be best. Like if they're on campus walking, ask for directions to a building on the path they're walking. That gives you an opportunity to walk with them and continue the conversation.

What's the context? A group at a bar, or a study group, or like a high school clique?

Instead of "I only habe a moment", try "hey, do you have a second?"

I'm a woman. This is dumb. Also, no woman would say "a crumb of coochie".

There could be a lot of reasons, but most importantly: it's not about you. She might be doing online dating for a confidence boost, or for entertainment, and it's very likely that meeting in person scares her. She could also have gained 50lbs since she took her profile photos. There are any number of reasons, but they are about her, not you.

Hi! I'm a woman with a strong/fat partner: if his belly ends up being firm under the flab, it can knock the wind out of you in missionary. Just tap out and initiate a position change, it doesn't have to be weird (and you don't have to mention it). Just go with the flow and say "I want you to fuck me doggy style", he'll be happy as can be.

A funny movie you've both seen before but not in a long time - "I haven't seen SuperBad in years, have you?" It sets a good mood but also isn't too distracting if you're trying to escalate.

Another line to consider "let's try it out and see if we have any chemistry, if it doesn't work for one of us, we can quit and watch Star Trek like we usually do" (obviously swith Star Trek for whatever you usually do).

Hi! I'm a woman and I agree with this comment. She's taking the convo to a sexual place, and she might really enjoy "showing you the ropes" as a less experienced partner. Sounds pretty hot. Have a drink and tell her directly that your friendship comes first, but if she's interested in some fun on the side, you are too.

Yo I'm a woman and just want you to know: we don't usually notice that you have a boner. While you're having this issue, avoid wearing sweatpants, gym shorts or skinny jeans and you should be ok. Especially if you're making solid eye contact, she can't look at your crotch without being super obvious about it.

Hi, I'm a woman who used to smoke a lot! You're smart to let her lead-She might be looking for a weed hookup, a friend, or be dtf. If you hit on her and that wasn't her angle, work is gonna get weird. Be friends with women! Friends are good to have and often they can introduce you to their other lady friends, expanding your potential hookups. If a woman can vouch for you being cool, you have a waaaay better chance at getting with her friends.

Hi, I'm a woman! Women tend to get a lot of messages like this, often from men they've never met and often with dick pics attached. It comes off as creepy, even though I'm sure that wasn't your intent. Most likely she will ignore it, please don't send her more messages if she ignores you! If you have a mutual friend irl, try to set up a group event where the friend, you, and the girl will be in the same room at the same time. Then, even if nothing happens between you, you can add her on social m…

If she's asking you to stick it in, do it! It's great when partners can say what they want out loud. The important thing is listen to what she's asking, and don't try to just dive in because you're hard. MOST of the time, especially with a new partner, you need to warm each other up.

Hi, I'm a woman and I can verify this is all good advice. One more thing a lot of guys don't seem to know: it's not just about feelings, women's bodies physically take longer to get ready for sex. If you spend more time on foreplay, she will be wetter, and sex will be much better for you both! If you've put a lot of time into kissing etc and she isn't wet, that's a good time to check in and make sure she really wants to be there. Alcohol and weed can both dry out the mucous membranes, keep lube …

Hello, I am also female. Do you have any male friends that you really trust? If your desire is just to try the physical acts of kissing (and more), see if a good male friend will help you practice. It could also be good practice for talking about what you do and don't like, which is very, very important when you move on to sex.

This will sound corny as hell but your friend is half right. You have to work to make a girl happy, but she has to want to work to make you happy too. Relationships are work, and if one person is doing all of it, it's not gonna last. If both people make their partner's happiness a top 3 priority in their day, you're on solid ground for something that lasts.

Rent a room beforehand, and invite the girl (and her friend, girls always go in teams to stay safe) back to the room. Have more drinks, if the girl is into it she'll give her friend a signal to leave. If renting rooms is not possible, ask the girl cadually if you can go with her back to her place. Don't be pushy.

Do you have any friends or same-age family who like to go dancing? Ask them to take you! While you're out, have a look at what other people are doing and try copying their movements if you think it looks cool. Dancing is really about having a good time and enjoying the music, so as long as you're doing that, you're golden.

If she likes you (and it sounds like she does) it won't be a big deal. Tell her honestly that you were nervous to bring it up, but you're not quite legal. And then ask her what the most fun bars are, she'll probably get excited to take you out on your birthday.

Tallness = instant points for sure, but if tallness is all you have going for you it doesn't add up to much. It's an evolutionary throw back for women to be in to big dudes, just like many men are attracted to an hourglass figure.

It's hard to say without actually looking at you, but I would probably deduce from dressing sporty that you like to watch sports and play sports in your free time. Tight fitting clothes might imply that you are vain. If your clothes are very very tight, I might wonder if you are gay. Again, hard to say without seeing you in person.

Hey. I'm a woman. DO NOT TEXT THAT YOU WANT TO FUCK! It's offputting at best, frightening at worst. Text about your studies, and casually ask how her weekend was. She will probably mention a hobby, tv show, or pet, and then you can ask follow-up questions. If she's really into talking with you, ask her if she'd like to grab coffee after class. Keep it casual, and then even if she's not interested, you won't scare away a good study friend.

Good advice from a sexual harrasment seminar: To avoid seeming creepy, don't complement specific body parts. "You look nice today" vs. "Your legs look great in those shorts". It's a good rule to keep in mind when complimenting people you aren't close to, and definitely good advice at work.

I am a woman, and I personally am attracted to taller, thicker guys, and never blonde (I am blond...some sort of natural defence against inbreeding? Who knows.) I have girl friends who are attracted to big noses, skinny guys, nice hands, any number of different things. Some things are universally appealing tho: Clean teeth/nice breath/a smile showing them off. Good posture, which indicates confidence and strength. People who are comfortable in their own skins. I'm not comfortable in my skin, and…
