Applause! You just described my ex friend to a T. I always regarded her as a danger to herself alone but she started competing with me. I took up a guy on his “see where it goes” comment. Whether you want marriage or a hookup, you still need to go on a date, you either have a connection or not. That you want a relationship does not mean it must be with the first person you go on a date with if you don’t like them. If you come online, you know what you what you want, so what are you looking for? I never tell them what I’m looking for first.

I read the book twice and I disagree. The book is actually telling you not to waste your time and your pretty, you have the power not him. It was my first foray into FDS, it tells to to expect a proper date, he calls your number, he is never too busy to reach out to you, it’s never too complicated for him to declare his feelings for you. It is telling you, you don’t have to do anything if he wants to be with you. Now I’m going back to read it again.

Never thought I’d see an intersection of this sub and 90 day fiancé. The men on that show are mostly awful but yea if those men with no money can extend themselves for women across the ocean, a man who is into you in your city can do the same.
