Primarily that's the point. Workforce preparation and hobbies (cause hobbies also lead to careers). Things like personality development, politics, sex should be left to the parents cause those are very subjective topics. People's definition of those concepts greatly vary. It's where the brainwashing begins.

One of the biggest motivators in life (for men) is to find a GF/wife. That's the fuel that keeps them working hard and climbing the ladder. Without that motivation, a lot of men will lose ambition and the economy will suffer. I think dating apps are a huge culprit. Back in the day, the nerd would sometimes win over the girl (cause the local jock turned out to be an a**hole). But now......just cycle through another jock. Why give the nerd a chance at all?

US and Canada no longer have mandatory drafts. It's easy to get out of it. There might be some advantages for women (like marriage laws) but compared to all other countries, it's the only one which still has sanity. In the UK, Germany, and many European countries, they're making all sorts of insane laws where you can get thrown in jail just for calling a woman overweight on the Internet.

Nowadays it's common to see phrases like "mansplaining", "manspreading" in mainstream news websites which send a feed right to your desktop. When I was a kid, stuff like that could only be found on tumblr and fringe forums. You really had to go out of your way to learn about stuff like that. But kids today are reading that right from when they turn on their computer.

The backlash began in the early 2010s. That was the phrase toxic masculinity went mainstream. I remember even in the late 2000s, "studs" like Justin Timberlake and Eminem were cool. I don't think they would do so well in today's era. They'd get cancelled. And it's not just sexuality. Even male expression of anger is now considered toxic. The early 2000s had lots of edgy, angry sounding songs. But now they are nowhere to be found. All the male singers are seriously mellowed out now.

As far as I know, Reddit and youtube are not connected. And even if it was, I don't see how activity on this particular sub would bring up female guitarists? It would likely bring up videos dealing with misandry. No I don't watch porn either. And even if I did, it would show me videos with scantily dressed women. But these are regular women. The promo shorts even showed me a woman in a Hijab playing the guitar.
