Years and years of learned behavior and enmeshment. It's not that complicated. "Never attribute to maliciousness that which can easily be explained by ignorance." People are fuckin stupid. Most people.

His bitching is actually warranted. The quality of posts here went down substantially after the wave of sub bans that included r/incels. I warned then, as did some other known figures here, that we would follow shortly after if the rhetoric changed. And it did. And the quarantined followed. People here love to boast about how the community continues to grow, while also proclaiming that this isn't a movement, just do your own thing. I understand the anger and frustration behind watching society c…

I obviously don't know your whole situation and can only speak for my own experience. But cutting contact with everyone in my family but my mother and sister has been the best gift I ever gave myself. I minimized my inner circle to 4 people and it's a fucking blessing.

Playing poor doesn't always help. I'm just starting my 30's and live a pretty minimalistic lifestyle. Wear raggy clothes often. I don't flaunt my wealth outside of occasionally treating coworkers with food. And women have been giving me increasingly more attention as time goes by. If you're single, childless, and have a steady job in your 30's you're a prime target.

My book list currently revolves around psychology and philosophy. Notably: Neitzche, Jung, Peterson, Aurelius. Also among my list is Sun Tzu, Walden, The Rational Male series. It's been quite a ride.

I like to look at it like this, and it helps explain why the moderate-left never wins elections. The left is actually two parties. There is the moderate-left who has a lot of really good policy ideas that involve a fair bit of conversative ideals as well. Then there is the far left that a lot media incorrectly labels (Fox News) as the left. Sadly the division here is what causes the split in ideals, whereas the right is always unified behind a single candidate.

I bought myself one of those really wide umbrellas that can COMFORTABLY fit two average sized people under it. I walk everywhere rain, sleet, snow, or shine...so wide was necessary. Stepped outside work for a smoke. Now, I am more than willing to share my extra large umbrella with whoever comes out to smoke while it's raining. It's just polite. IDC who it is. The other night however, girl comes out and stands under it, says hi, lights her smoke. No biggy. Then she had the balls to gently grab it…

They still do. I've had friends with kids who refer to me as uncle (the parent being the one to start it). It can be endearing if you've spent some serious time around the family, or they don't have much extended family. But usually it just feels awkward.

It just so happens that A LOT of the louder participants here fall on the conservative side of politics. MGTOW is a pretty conservative viewpoint. I'm pretty liberal in a lot of my political views but find MGTOW to be a legitimate lifestyle. You don't have to tow the party line (and shouldn't anyway). Nothing wrong with your opinion.

Exactly. The studies I read into described the definition used in each study. Some were "the accuser admitted to lieing" others were "it was proven false" some were as broad as "no evidence was found to show a rape occurred". On the definition of rape itself, the spectrum was just as broad depending on the study. Even the sample sizes were varied. Some numbered hundreds of cases, others just a dozen. There is however legislation that blocks studies from being done by reputable sources or governm…

Like I said. It really depended on where the study was done and how broad of a definition of rape they used. Some places were really low, some were pretty high, higher than forty even.

Depending on the region it's anywhere between 5 and 40%. I don't have a link for you...but if I recall correctly there was an agency in Germany that found the 40% stat. I believe the more practical numbers fall in the 10-20% range. There isn't a whole lot of data on the subject. At least when I looked into it a year ago.

You, like many others, discovered what going through life alone entails. You established this mindset before you happened upon the material that preaches what you already know. You already know the answer and you don't need anymore validation than the internal validation you haven't quite acknowledged. Edit: Upon rereading, this comes off a bit condescending. There was an interesting study I remember reading about this. Women were polled on several questions regarding pictures of men. They unanimously had 'voted' (for lack of a better term) that they wanted the clean shaven younger males for dating and short term relationships. And...not-so-interestingly 'voted' bearded men as more mature and capable of raising children. Assume what you will from that. I'm 29. Women that knew I liked them in my early 20's would blow me off. I live in a college town so young 'chads' are plentiful. I have a decent job and do my own thing mostly. I've rejected my fair share of know-they-are-fast-approaching-the-wall women. Thing is. MGTOW calls it "hitting the wall". Women call it "settling down". I despise that labels we all use to describe shit her. But that doesn't mean it isn't true.

15ft. That's the magic number a criminal wants. If an attacker is closer than 15' and your weapon is holstered, you shouldn't even bother trying to use it. At 15' you might get a couple rounds off but because of how fast the situation will play out, you most likely won't hit anything that stops the attacker from clubbing/stabbing/cutting you up. 23ft. That's the magic number an officer wants. At 23' you have just the right amount of time to unholster and fire enough rounds to incapacitate your t…

For me, MGTOW isn't about hating women, or hating incels. Yes, in the beginning I went through some red pill rage. I still do time to time. The core fundamentals of MGTOW that appeal to me relate to self improvement, self reliance, seeking the good things in life, not giving energy to destructive things, and to be a better person than I was before for myself and others that I chose to be around. So much this. This is the sort of content that will keep this place from bans or quarantine.

This is going to sound a little cucked but hear me out. I wish more young boys and men would stop attending fancy universities. There is a huge resource transfer from the young to the old through your typical campus. Young men should leave those colleges behind and be going through apprenticeships at tech schools. We all know that the 'trades' pay better anyway. Quit giving colleges the best 20 years of your life (through debt that hangs over you for decades). Let the women cycle through those c…

Some quick-maths for ya. Having a roommate potentially only lowers your cost of living in terms of rent. Even then, more bedrooms/space means higher rent. And addtional roommate will use the same resources as you. "Never hit a woman." Disclaimor: I do not, in any way, advocate any form of physical, mental, or social abuse. You never hear 'never hit a man'. And this can be loosely translated in two manners. A- Men will do things that will provoke someone into wanting to hit them and they deserve an ass whooping and we are allowed to do this. B- Women will do things that will provoke someone into wanting to hit them, but we are not allowed to do it. AKA- avoiding responsibility/accountability.

So I work at a nationally renowned institution for violent, trauma, ASD, behavioral school/residential facility for kids under 21. In all my years here, from personal observation, one thing rings true for almost all the kids. They come from homes with single mothers and they all lack two very distinct things: discipline, and inability to accept the word "no". Sound familiar?

This is one of the things I don't appreciate in this sub. Although I will give this sub credit for the fact that when two opposing viewpoints meet there is a 'discussion' and explanation of opinions you don't find in many other subs. Always identified myself as Socially Democratic and Fiscally Republican. Wish a few of the more liberal viewpoints would make a couple comments during the conversations, just for the sake of variety and healthy debate.

Going against the grain here. I like a good tattoo. I have a single one on my upper arm dedicated to a dead relative, easily covered with a T-shirt. Have a back-piece in the works, based off the same dead relative's artwork. I have definately scoffed at some tattoos i've seen but I find it unfair for me to judge another person's choice with tattoos. MGTOW should be able to respect another person's reason for GTOW with tattoos, man or woman.

As with everything in life you have to sift through the bullshit. There is some 'echoing' here in MGTOW. But MGTOW doesn't really have a set of rules outside of don't marry, don't cohabitate. As others have already mentioned, it is a cost:benefit analysis that brings a lot of men into MGTOW. Unfortunately they bring a lot of unresolved hatred and anger with them. This is just a symptom of the main problem: the mating-game of the current era. It is not in favor of men. Technology and social dynam…

Read most of your comments and your post from yesterday. Been mostly a lurker here myself as I found this was the closest label to my beliefs. Was preaching MGTOW before I knew what it was. My advice to you is this, this sub has some threads with unresolved anger and hatred. But the core principles that are being preached are worth wading through the BS they are hidden amongst.
