It's not like cooking is even HARD. I'll give props to someone that makes a fancy meal, but I just put in minimum effort. I get chicken breasts and grill them every Sunday, cold cuts and bread for lunch at work, sprinkle in fruits and veggies for variety and I'm done. If I want something fancy I'll go buy it or look up the recipe online. If I'm craving instant variety, I'll use spices or sauces. Women really over exaggerate how much effort cooking is.

The issue is that he's left too much time between books for me. Ive had too much time to reread and deconstruct it. While the prose is great, the characterization and plot falls short. So much shit just doesnt make sense. Kvoth is too much of a Gary Stu and it really sticks out once you notice it. I used to think the book was character driven but now it reads more plot driven. Forced from one point to another with no consistent logic in it.

Sleep is not very well understood but it is becoming more and more obvious that lack of sleep is a very big deal in mental health decline. I've been trying to regulate my sleeping schedule to 8 hours every week night and it's helped me deal with the other parts of the SHIELD acronym much better.
