Yes, that is the point, now you get it! The show of high status has to come from the words I say and the way I act. I can't lean on my streetwear for support, like flying solo. Some gimmicks that work is being loud so I try to find an excuse to be loud just before I move in for the approach. Phone call or a busy street on a friday night help. See that conflicts with my irl experience though. Maybe /u/1Maverick1 can explain, but from what I've noticed is that the 'alpha' tends to tell the stories to the group. I think there is a direct correlation between how much time a person spends speaking and how high their status level is. Conversely, those who spend more time listening will feel 'indebted' to the storyteller. At least that's what I've noticed. Maybe you can correct me.
