Introduction

What defines The Red Pill is a desire for understanding of truth - specifically, we turn our attentions to the truth of human nature.

AWALT, or "All Women are Like That," is a popular term in this community to affirm the idea that female nature exists and can be defined, though there is sometimes some debate as to how far and to what degree the traits can be labeled.

The most commonly cited traits in the AWALT umbrella include:

  • Hypergamy, or "Marrying up," with an inclusion of "branch swinging," which means that a woman will have a new partner lined up before leaving her current one.

  • Solopsism, an inability to understand what it is like to be someone other than themself. Associated with assuming that what person A wants in person B is what person B wants in person A.

  • Machiavellianism, Detachment from morality and subsequent ability to be manipulative. Associated with blame shifting.

  • Immaturity, Acting inappropriately for one's age - associated with emotional impulsiveness.

At least one of these traits are observable to some degree in every woman - but there are too many contradictions in the terms used that it becomes too broad to be useful - the same way that a horoscope can be correct for most people.

Hypergamy & Branch-Swinging

Hypergamy is the most obvious trait that is correct to cite as attributed to women, as the term was literally coined to describe Hindu caste system practices of women marrying men of a higher caste.

Women desire men who are rich, educated, ambitious, and attractive. This is a well-documented phenomenon with obvious roots in her desire to ensure the best genetic material for her offspring, as well as to beat provide for that offspring.

Feminists even agrees it exists, but they contend that women only desire additional traits beyond "attractive" because their ability to provide for themselves and their offspring is limited by societal disadvantages (the Patriarchy). Whether or not this is the cause does not matter. It is very real and it isn't going anywhere.

Theory of Mind & Imitation

My proposal is that Machiavellianism and Solopsism are not appropriate to attribute as "female nature."

Machiavellianism requires a lack of emotion (not to mention knowing what the goal is and employing logic to get it), which is to say that it is based on realz, not feelz. Moreover, studies show that it is much more associated with men, which makes sense, given their more methodical and logical nature.

Solopsism is a trait exhibited by every human to some degree. There are no "true empaths," there is no one that can truly experience the world from the mind of another person. Women think that their achievements at work will make them more attractive, men think that women want pictures of their dicks. Such is the human experience.

(And while I'm here, blame-shifting is also absolutely a "human" trait. Women have a stronger hamster, so they are better at it, but taking responsibility for oneself is a learned behavior regardless of gender.)

I propose that Theory of Mind is where the answer lies. It is the ability to anticipate the thoughts and reactions of others, unrelated to IQ or intention.

It is observable that when young girls interact, they will lie to seem more similar to each other, while young boys will lie to seem superior to each other.

My hypothesis is that this practice of finding equivalence among each other leads to a faster development of their Theory of Mind.

(Men, on the other hand, are four times more likely to have an impaired Theory of Mind, A.K.A. Autism. Men tend to focus more on systems and patterns than feelings, and Autism is hypothesized to be linked to extreme testosterone exposure in the womb.)

Whether she learns to use it for manipulation, empathy, or some combination of the two would then be dependent on her upbringing. She mimics her mother first and foremost, as she is the first example that a girl has of a woman that has successfully attracted a mate and reproduced. She is most comfortable imitating a response that she has seen, rather than creating her own, and she is more inclined to agree with other women.

Lack of Self-Definition/Childishness

The pattern of mimicking behaviors and learning primarily by imitation leads to many women lacking a sense of "self." (This is not to say "selflessness," as I do not imply altruism.) In extreme cases, a woman is running purely on mimicry.

Maturity in a psychological sense is a shift away from reliance on guardianship, and on a higher level, knowing one's purpose in life and having meaning. A man becomes his own guardian, and through trial-by-fire, must determine his purpose, or be looked down upon.
A woman does not have societal pressure to do this. She finds a new guardian, and simply adopts his views. She does not have to do any self-reflection or make any real decisions. This is not to say that no woman ever does so, but it is in her best interest to play this "support" role - a man with Purpose does not want a woman whose goals conflict with his, and as we know, women seek Ambition.

This lack of personal development contributes, alongside a desire to remain youthful/fertile, to her childish behaviors and emotional outbursts. While not every woman will exhibit this level of immaturity, I think that a lack of self-definition, or adoption of it from others, is a universal trait among females.

Conclusion

The way we define female nature is important for understanding their behaviors and actions, and I believe it could use some refinement. I do not believe that my analysis is by any means perfect, though I have tried to show traits that are universal and non-contradictory.

It seems that often the objectivity of Red Pill men is affected negatively by feelings of bitterness/hatred towards women, and I do hope that perhaps further discussion on the topic will help to elevate our community.
