I think I'm in denial about myself having a big ego, I'm always thinking about others opinions on myself. Thanks bro. I'm lifting with a friend at the moment but I'm going to go alone one time, it's hard though because my anxiety is almost painful.

I actually do have the book No More Mr Nice Guy, I got it only recently, I'm currently reading through it. I think what you are saying is right , i don't feel complete without someone else in my life, it feels like I'm missing something. I think my issues stem from me feeling like I am meaningless and life is meaningless and that having a girlfriend gives my life meaning. What you said is pretty accurate tbh dude. I think being in a relationship eradicates all my issues. It gives my life meaning and purpose. It's really stupid but I keep falling into this blue pilled way of thinking.

My expectations for her were unachievable and I allowed myself to have her be my main source of happiness. I'm also better since the breakup but that was 8 months ago. Somehow 8 months later I still have anxiety and depressive thoughts about her every day.

Since Monday I have started going to the gym again and want to work hard at it. It's difficult for me though because I have anxiety so I have to go with a friend. Im too scared to goto the gym on my own because I am worried about judgement. Pathetic I know as a 22 year old but I've struggled with anxiety all my life.

Thanks. I did ignore the email she sent me maybe 7 weeks ago and I am determined to not contact her again. But yeah, no matter how busy I try and make myself she still manages to come into my mind. Any little thing can remind me of her. I goto the gym to try and focus on myself but just seeing other girls in the gym reminds me of my ex and gives me bad anxiety.

I don't really do anything. I'm a student but not in university often so most my day is spent inside reading or watching videos. I try and goto the gym with a friend every day but sometimes I lack motivation. My usual day is very uneventful and I don't actually enjoy my life at the moment.
