I’m not a Dr but in my experience, you could ask for Wellbutrin. It’ll help get you on track, your desire for alcohol will decrease, and will allow you to compartmentalize the negatives. You won’t gain weight nor will you be a zombie. Explain to your dr your situation and tell him/her that you read that this could help you. Search for a reddit community of this med. Good luck man. There’s light at the end of this tunnel.
