Waiting for judgment here. I bought house 2 years before marriage, always paid mortgage and continue to do so. STBX has stayed at house for last 10 months while awaiting decision from court. Too contentious for me to live there. Judge knows that I am staying elsewhere and that I have not moved out in entirety. Otherwise she would have given her sole exclusive occupancy. She doesn’t work - left her job one year before I filed. She was put on deed seven years after we were married.
No kids so that’s not an issue.

We do have in proposed judgment that I will buy her out - so that is the plan but in the back of my mind I cannot help but think that she would try to get the house which I have done every repair and update in throughout the years.

I did hear her say to a friend last year that when this divorce comes to end I will be begging her for the buyout check for my share of the house. I don’t see how a bank would give her a mortgage without her working. I don’t think she can change her mind now that we have had trial and are waiting decision.

Today I stopped by house to pick up mail and low and behold she was snow blowing the driveway. Something she never did before after telling the court about all her physical ailments and neck pain and her osteoporosis.

I went in, got my mail and left and she was just laughing at me while she continued to work.

Just wanted to vent.
