Those pictures are your past. The past is gone.

It’s wild to me how many of us are stating the same thing as the problem (accountability)… it’s like we all married the same woman.

Still here after 5 years… no happiness unless she’s away from the home, or if I’m at work maybe… Currently staying until the kids are a little older. They are my happiness.

Don’t waste time being upset with the guy. Your wife made the decision to give him the time of day. Hang in there mate… everything will be ok

If you still love her, talk to her about it, and help her be her best self. If you’re checked out completely, then you know the answer.

A “CBD” addiction.. lol. Keeping using your CBD if it’s benefitting you dude, It isn’t illegal. She’s just using that as an excuse.

“Wife out of town finding herself” …… Definitely focus on acknowledging your current emotions, but I’d be planning an exit without a doubt.

Your last two sentences are spot on. Enjoy solitude in your lonesome. I’d only change that if an effortless connection/relationship were to arise with someone, and even then you shouldn’t have to relinquish any of your peace if it’s the right relationship.

I honestly wouldn’t announce it to anyone outside of your closest friends/family members. Anyone else can find out as needed, as in when they mention “your wife”, etc.

Without a doubt. There comes a time when a complete disregard of accountability, will force your hand. I’d gotten tired of being my wife’s punching bag.. it’d even gotten to a point where she’d blatantly check out other Men right in front of my face. Considering the lack of respect that was shown, I had to file.

First ask yourself if you genuinely still want to be with her. Reconnecting and reigniting the fire that you two once had, may be possible if mutually urged for. If not, I’d suggest being honest with her, and tell her exactly what you mentioned in your post.. if she’s on the same page, get the paperwork started.

You’re unfortunately exactly right… I may look intimidating on the outside, but on the inside, I’m extremely fragile… years and years of belittlement from my wife has gotten me here. I’ve stayed for the kids, and I’ve stayed because I’ve gotten to a point mentally, where I feel I can’t do any better than my wife. — I know the latter probably isn’t true, but I haven’t been able to train my mind to acknowledge it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
