I love these shitty headlines, "Couple breaks up after earthquake, the results are unbelievable." Queue up photos of the earthquake

From a surface level, rebranding the issue doesn't make the issue suddenly go away. It's always the village idiots. The women/men afraid of their own shadow and what it could do to them that speak the loudest. Unfortunately, there are so many people in places where they're given a platform to say it from. However, in serious debate, those instances are never referenced because they're anecdotes to the issue at large. That doesn't contribute to the statistic. The important part is that you don't …

No one literally cares. Intolerance or not. It does t help with the man hating thing. But you sound like a child only looking at the surface level bullspit without realizing the greater issues at hand

Liberal types? Boi are you drinking the hardest cool-aid around. Where did you get that I'm intolerant of homophobia? Racism? No one said its stupid. Pointing fingers doesn't help the cause one bit. You ruin your chances of pushing your point by doing that.

Why are you quoting some random persons comments in a super informal debate. How does this help men's rights?

It kind of makes the whole point null when the factors can't be quantified. A better statistic would be a percentage of those who are admitted to urgent mental care I think.
/r/MensRights02/03/23 06:29 PM

Unreported statistical data. It's basically null
/r/MensRights01/03/23 04:38 PM

How do you take that statistic into account realistically

Maybe separate church and state? Maybe learn that an embryo isn't a child? I'm against full term abortions but not against first trimester abortions. The core issue is THAT. Separate church and state, which means give women the choice and stop contributing to the growing problem of the foster care system because I know damn sure you won't adopt 4 or 5 orphans for the betterment of their lives. You know, since you care so much about them.

That's the thing, your basically setting this infant up for murder anyway because there aren't enough resources to care for it anyway. That's why they put us on the hook for child support most of the time.

I see it as satire for sure but have you heard of schrodingers joke? There's a bunch that made here all the time. Saying something edgy or controversial and then when the reaction they get isn't what they want they get off easy with "it was just a joke lmao!"

Im sorry about that, I wasnt trying to bring down your point. Let's take the industry im in, mechanical engineering. When I first started out many of my jobs involved on site, wrench turning projects where I was hands on. I'm not saying that women aren't considered for these jobs but its more that women don't consider these jobs. Thus leading to a more male oriented environment. Don't get me wrong. There were some tough girls that demasculated the heck out of me. Coworkers, professors, friends I…

I thought about not responding to this. While more women are in the college system than men statistically, its not how many people are in college its what job they decide to go into. Most of the women in college tend to move towards medical/education. While you see a hugely smaller percentage in STEM and Business. So yes, its about qualifications.

So a few of my friends didn't have fathers growing up and my English teacher in 8th grade showed up for all of them in the father-son event that year. This wasn't the only thing he did. He got them birthday presents. books that were in line with stuff they liked because of a "introduce yourself" exercise at the beginning of the year. In high school, my chemistry teacher and my algebra teacher were really cool and would explain things in a more casual way. They were both male and I and my friends…

Funny how you glossed right over the oppression of men in this situation. Such am erosion of men's rights to the point where they're forced against their will into a financial obligation at no decision of their own. Equality for thee but not for me. Got it. Were done here. Literally a brick wall. Takes 2 to tango.

No one is eroding women's rights. What YOU are doing is oppressing men by forcing them against their will to support a child they didn't want in the first place. "Not pulling out in time." gtfo with that. The numbers or metrics of who gets pregnant does not matter. What matters is the choice that men SHOULD have but don't and are left at the mercy of the women they decided to have sex with. I agree with her body her choice 100% but if I don't want to be involved then I shouldn't be forced agains…

Slow down there, why don't we just better contraceptives and finally bring that contraceptive for men over from Europe.

This discussion was such a train wreck to witness. The person you were debating with does not realize how tied down and dare I say it.... oppressed. Putting sensationalism aside, im glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

The vast majority isnt misogyny. Many people here just enjoy the little victories here and there when women dont get a free pass in life. That's all this is, at least that's how I see it. If you wanna see some real hate check out r/femaledatingstrategy

I think value is subjective, more than a few of the girls I've dated like the fact that I play video games a ton. One girl in particular, my most recent ex, would ask a lot of questions. Who is that you're playing? Why did you kill him? Who were they? Why is she blindfolded? I was playing through dark souls 3. She eventually got into the lore. Today we're still friends and she watches let's plays of video games because she finds them more interesting than some shows on television. Point being th…

100k is a lot of time to blow up on lacking maintenance. Most people who autocross their DD dont take care of their vehicle. 370Z driver here. You wanna talk about lacking reliability talk to me. The STI is a reliable car that will handle serious abuse compared to other JDM sparts cars like EVOs and Zs.

I see tons of s60s still trucking along. Imprezzas are rare in my area. Reliability speaks for itself

It always makes me really happy when people share experiences based on the lingo. I'm not sure why it does. For me, It's like an unwritten bond that only becomes apparent when the "password" is involved. Unrelated I know but I figured I should say it anyway.

I don't think that this should be settled on the first date. It should be done at a later time, maybe the second date or third. Both parties need to put in effort. I wouldn't go out with someone if I never planned on paying at least my meal. Something that I've been on the bad end of a couple of times. Let me tell you it's not fun. My current SO and I usually take turns paying for each other even though I make significantly more than them. The difference is in the places we suggest. It changes t…

By stating that you won't comment on caring so much about those things tells a lot about you as a person. It also shows that you don't know the difference between something genetic versus something that can be built. A person looking to better themselves through the finances of someone else is never a good thing. Asking what job they have rather than trying to see if they can actually get along can spell disaster. The best relationships I've experienced, whether platonic or romantic, usually occ…

It allows people to judge how financially stable they are and is considered rude. If you have nothing else to talk about other than how much money you make then chances are they're not for you
