It’s mostly a status symbol. Plenty of those beautifying procedures are simple things that the elites loved to show off that they’re not commoners. For example, long nails were a mark of elite in several cultures. They showed that you’re rich enough to not have to work with your hands (and have servants who take care about trivialities for you). Nowadays they’re a status symbol for another reason: having them costs a lot of money and time spent in a beauty salon. High heels also used to be a nob…

Oh, that’s easy. If you ask any woman, the beauty industry was something that men imposed on women to make them look attractive to them. But what about the fact that many of those things women do to themselves are disliked by men? For example, nearly universally reviled lip fillers that make their mouths look as if they were just beaten up? What about those long talons that make wiping their ass an hazard, or slightly less disgusting acrylic nails that bulge out of their fingers? This is where y…

It’s classic motte and bailey. No one really believes in patriarchy being the dictatorship of the few powerful men; it’s only when you question the idea. When it’s used in everyday feminism, it’s almost always the ridiculous idea of the brotherhood between the ruler and the ruled, the street thug and his victim, Elon Musk and the guy who cleans the toilet in SpaceX headquarters.

They really don’t understand the point of misandry. It isn’t to avoid you or other men, it’s to create a situation where every time they interact with you, they’re doing you a favor that must be repaid. If you and every other man are trash, you can’t have any expectations and must accept whatever they deign to give you and understand it can be taken away at any moment. Misandrist women will happily claim their man is different when they still want him, and then turn it around and claim he was al…

It’s not even a unique argument. You can see this when people defend their religion, too. Oh, Catholicism did something bad? Those people aren’t true Catholics, you see. No, that vicar is a bad Catholic. The bishop is, too. And the Pope. Who’s a real Catholic, you ask? There’s that priest in Nowhereville who lives in a cave and cooks meals for the homeless 20 hours per day, and then he prays for the remaining 4 hours.

I’m not sure if it’s the issue with most women, but with feminist, yeah. The ideology pretty much suppresses the empathy and makes them unwilling to even try to understand the problems of men. As in, you can couch them in as neutral language as possible, avoid generalization, provide explanations that are designed to avoid blaming anyone, and they’ll still try to condescendingly tell you that you’re wrong, or immediately pivot to their own problems and demand you to admit they’re worse.

“Emotional labor” looks like an example of mass gaslighting, because the proportions are so skewed to the opposite side it’s not even funny. Most women I knew better than as passing acquaintances regularly expected me to listen to them complain and vent. Very often they had to be consoled, too. Some would literally trauma-dump on me. Very few of them allowed me to do the same; most would feel uncomfortable and try to change the topic, or give me the most generic advice possible — literally the t…

It’s less “Loneliness Epidemic” and more “Undesirability Epidemic”. It’s not that hard for a guy to get into a relationship if he accepts being replaceable and liked only for what he can provide. There’s plenty of Cluster B girls who will throw themselves at a guy much below what they can pull just so they could feel superior to them. Plenty of single moms looking for a father to their children, young women looking for a sugar daddy, or desperate immigrants. The problem is that they don’t just w…

I’m not sure if it’s better if it was completely legal, or completely illegal; I flip-flopped between both positions a lot. The only model I explicitly don’t support is the Swedish one, where selling is legal but buying is not. I consider it fundamentally unjust.

Identity politics, including feminism, did. It divided the left into a caste society of “victims,” who are always right and whose every word is sacred, vs. “oppressors” whose job is to “listen and learn”. The former cannot only lecture the latter, but also treat them like shit without fear of retaliation, or even being reprimanded. This had no chance to work long-term. No well-adjusted person would willingly join and stay in a community which pushes them into the role of perpetual underclass. Mo…

That sounds to me like “no true Scotsman” fallacy. Enough feminists seem to agree with misandrist views to assume that this is the true face of the movement, and the ones who want goodwill or equality for everyone are a minority. It’s like defending religion — how many times you’ve heard “oh, but they’re not a real Catholic?” And when you apply the charitable definition of a Catholic, it turns out that neither the vicar, nor the bishop, nor even the Pope and plenty of saints deserve to be called…

That’s because feminism (and a lot of other identity politics ideologies) is set up in a way that makes its criticism illegitimate by default. First of all, there’s the issue of patriarchy that makes every criticism of feminism invalid if done by a man. All men are defaulted to having privilege and wanting to keep it, therefore every time they don’t like something about feminism it’s because they hate how effective it is in safeguarding rights of women. In fact, it’s even good if they criticize …

How many cases you know where trauma in someone manifested with just promiscuity and nothing else? Where that promiscuity isn’t a way to get attention from other people, or a way to feel something despite dysfunctional emotional regulation, or a lack of ability to connect with others emotionally?

The problem is that for every one cluster B person who had really worked on their problems and got them under control, you’ll find ten who will claim to have gotten them under control, only to spring them out on you when your guard is down. It’s really unfortunate, but given that manipulative behavior is one of the core traits of those disorders, the people with them who have no intention about doing anything about their problems will fake it anyway.

The “…equality feels like an oppression” sentence is a thought-terminating cliché to preemptively dismantle any sort of criticism of the movement. Feminism has a lot of them, and their entire purpose is to set up a discussion where it can’t be wrong. You just can’t criticize feminism, period. If you’re a man, being born with the original sin of privilege means you by default want to take away all the rights from women, and any opinion you might have is just hostile subversion of the movement. If…

Classic intersectionality, which in my opinion is a complete bullshit. Where people embrace several different identities, it doesn’t create a new identity that magically knows all the struggle of all the ones that compose them and some new ones on top of that. That’s self-congratulatory bogus. What they do instead is that they choose the one that appeals to them the most, usually the one with most mass appeal. Intersectionality is simply a tool that larger and stronger identity politics groups u…

I’m on the completely opposite side. Promiscuity for any other reason, I don’t care about that much. I’d even consider a woman with sex working past. Yeah, it would be a problem, but not that much. Promiscuity because of trauma, especially connected to a Cluster B personality disorder? My interest reaches a negative number as soon as I realize that. Because it very often implies present promiscuity along with an entire set of other problems.

That’s the secret behind the personality disorders that make people do such extreme things. It’s intense self-hate, but projected on their partner for the audacity of loving them. It sucks to be in such position and often is a result of the trauma. That said, their way of dealing with it is inflicting trauma on others. That’s akin to catching AIDS and trying to spread it as far as possible. Absolutely horrible behavior.

/r/EverydayMisandry28/11/25 08:44 PM

That’s pretty much the consequence of how those disorders work. These people hate themselves and demand more and more proofs that they’re loved, but it’s actually impossible to prove. The only thing it achieves is them losing all respect for their partner for loving them.

Imagine getting a vasectomy for your partner, getting left because “it’s not you, it’s me”, meeting a woman who wants to have children and trying to tell her that you can’t have any, because you sterilized yourself for the previous one.

It might not be a primary cause, but still a significant contributor, that also makes fixing the issue a lot harder. Currently, the misandrists oppose solutions that could fix male loneliness, even at no costs to themselves.

Funny, because that completely contradicts my experience. A lot of women I’ve met expected me to listen to them vent. If not about their traumas, it was about another woman they hated for the pettiest reason possible. Of course, I was supposed to treat whatever they said as true, their feelings as completely valid and warranted, and never ever criticize them. This rarely worked in reverse. I wouldn’t expect a nuanced take from an online celebrity. These people’s earnings depend of how much views they get, so they’ll mostly say whatever’s popular. An influencer with a feminist audience will alienate them if they say male loneliness is the fault of anything else than patriarchy.

I’m saying it’s a religious narrative, where patriarchy is just a different kind of sin. Hence, feminists who say patriarchy hurts men can both blame them for it and claim they want to help them.

In my experience, feminism is very deeply enmeshed into a dualistic vision of the world where women are oppressed, and men are oppressors. You can temporarily become one of “the good ones”, but it’s a target that’s constantly moving, and if you ever show any hesitation at meeting it, you’re back among the bad guys along with Donald Trump and Andrew Tate. In my opinion, it makes dealing with feminists hard. Not only their belief system tells them you’re not to be trusted as a man; it also tells t…

It’s one of those terms that used to describe a real thing, then was co-opted by unreasonable people to validate their behavior. I mean, it’s one thing when a guy can’t stand the fact that his 29 year old girlfriend isn’t a virgin, another when a 26 years old alcoholic with BPD wants her partners to see nothing weird in the fact she’s with a new guy every month.

There is no moral high ground here, sorry. The identity politics-related movements did fuck all to get those people who flocked to the right. More than that, they treated them like shit. Instead of building a broad, popular movement fighting if not for socialism, then at least for some sort of social-democracy, they made a play at becoming a new official religion enshrined by the corporations and tech giants. They stabbed the working class in the back, so they don’t get to be upset now that they…

When you lose someone because you couldn’t even be bothered to treat them like a human being, you lose the moral high ground and the right to tell them who they should or shouldn’t join. The right-wing resurgence isn’t just about Trump winning elections; this was just a culmination of a slow process that happens since at least the 90s. The left abandoned its egalitarian roots and sold itself to capitalism, so other ideologies slowly filled the void. The identity politics is just another way for …

That’s a very stupid take, literally the left-wing version of “I didn’t want this hideous whore anyway” after being rejected. You’re not owed popular support. No one is. Whom you can bring to your movement is whom you’re going to get. Where have you been for the last few years? Criticizing DEI policies, or anything related to identity politics in any way, pushed you to the fringes of the left, if not making you an outcast. The best thing about it is that the women who want to be rewarded for doing stuff other don’t do it themselves. They feel entitled to a reward because other women do it, or used to do it in the past. The “emotional work” is my favorite idea, because it’s often brought up by women disgusted at the idea that their partner might have feelings not related to them, and completely uninterested with helping them with that.

About the “submission in bed” part: the dude who wrote that third slide has NEVER heard of femdom. It’s probably the most popular amongst men in their 20s who cant get laid, and possibly, horny teenagers. While plenty of women like BDSM-related stuff, they overwhelmingly prefer being the submissive side. There’s a reason why erotic fiction for women often is about a buff, attractive, high-status guy overpowering the initially reluctant heroine.

The third screen is such a crock of shit. Plenty of women don’t have, nor they plan to have children in the future. They expect at least an equal share of chores. The ones crowing about “emotional work” the most are hilariously bad at providing any kind of emotional support, to the point where opening up around them means the end of the relationship or ends up with the guy having to console them instead. Schroedinger’s boundaries are also a pretty cozy setup for someone with a support network that would never hold them accountable to their decisions. Immature people love to blame everyone around them for their bad decisions; this is especially common with some personality disorders. And not communicating their needs clearly means always being able to claim whatever fits the aftermath: if it was great, it was their decision; if it wasn’t, it was someone else’s.

The first image was captioned “Women, when they try to figure out if a man has autism,” and the second one was “Women, when they try to figure out if a man is going to abuse them.” And that’s the crux of the problem: actual abusers and manipulative people are very good both at finding gullible partners, and at hiding their toxic traits until the other person is…

People often hide or doctor those beliefs that make them look bad.

Autism is similar to looks in how it mostly ruins your chance on making a good first impression. People with horrible personalities can pretend to have desirable traits, so they usually can get into a relationship, but are horrible at staying in it unless they use a plethora of abusive tactics on a partner that had already learned to accept it. Autism just makes you subtly off-putting or awkward, which tends to rub women the wrong way.

The older you are, the harder is finding the partner your age for a simple reason: the dating pool gets smaller and smaller. The people who are the most sociable, most likely to land up a partner and stay with them, tend to be in a stable relationship before they turn 30 and mostly stay in it. Sometimes their partner dies, cheats on them, or does something that warrants leaving them, but they usually have little problem with finding someone else, so they aren’t available for long. The ones who s…

It’s a cult with a caste system built-in. As the member of the inferior caste, you’re tainted with the sin of privilege, which forever bars you from being a priest. You are to believe in feminism the same way people believe in Jesus Christ or Allah. You have to earn your salvation by quelling your doubts and obey the priestly caste unconditionally. Even if they treat you like shit, this is a just punishment levied at you for being a man. I’m glad that she spelled it that plainly, because it rare…

From my experience, female NPD and BPD havers are very drawn to feminism; nowhere I’ve seen so many downright malicious and insecure women as when I was in a left-wing political party. This includes. A nearly 30-years-old woman who got so pissed at being mildly insulted by some guy on his own wall, that she accused him of misogyny and eventually got him expelled. She also would crash the threads on the party forums where he wrote anything and paste the screenshot with the insult, demanding him t…

Enjoy slaving away for the people who hate what you represent with every fiber of their being and don’t always have the decency to hide it. Given that intersectionality has been used in the past to capture weaker and less numerous advocacy movements by the stronger ones, it can go either way. Just look what happened to autism advocacy. First it was really about Asperger’s/autism, then it was more and more about women and other marginalized groups with autism. Especially after the influx of “self-diagnosed” autists it became unrecognizable. Cis-men with autism were pushed into the margin of the movement which became pretty much an ex…

You mean the ally caste. Pretty much every idpol movement is divided into two castes: the priests and their loyal flock they call “allies”. The priest caste has the monopoly on truth by the virtue of being a minority of interest. They’re the only ones allowed to create their own doctrines, as opposed to parroting the movement’s official talking points. They read and interpret the holy scripture of the movement, pronounce people and organizations virtuous or sinful, and can be only disagreed with…

The problem is that men and women use a completely different definition of “hurt” right now. Imagine someone asking you if you were ever assaulted. They think it means you get beaten up, or attacked with a knife, so they naturally expect you to say “no”. You, however, decided to count every time someone asked you in a threatening way “Got a problem, bro?” as an assault. You also going to count a classmate pushing you when you were both in elementary school. So you say “Yes, many times.”

The worst thing at this narrative is that it’s completely fake. Not only none of those women would actually choose a bear, but most of them aren’t that afraid of men at all. They date them, spend time alone with them, ask them for favors, and demand them to be their allies. The comparison with a wild animal has no leg to stand on. I wish they got what they want. Not meeting a bear, just so they don’t have to suffer the male companionship and attention they ostensibly fear so much. I’d like no ma…

„Good. Date a bear then. Befriend a bear. Find a bear and ask it to drive you home at 12 AM. When you’re at it, ask it politely if it would like to support your reproductive rights.” Don’t waste your time and effort on people who value you less than a wild animal. You don’t owe them a proof that you’re not a rapist or a murderer. Just cut them out of your life if you can, and concentrate on finding someone who sees you as a human being, instead of a potential Jeffrey Dahmer.

There’s one more thing why the “man should be strong enough to fight back” trope is bullshit: physical abuse is pretty much the finale. Abusers choose partners that won’t fight back and escalate slowly. It usually starts with lovebombing and isolation. With grandiose gestures of love, they establish themselves as perfect partners, which later means it’s harder for the victim to believe they are with an abuser. They also try to make them alone by portraying the victim’s family and friends in nega…

One of the oldest trick in abuser’s handbook. You don’t want to be abused? Here’s an arbitrary checklist of things you have to improve to be considered worthy being treated with respect. Have you considered politely enduring shitty treatment until I decide you no longer deserve it? Now prove that you’re not like the other man by policing what others like on Twitter. It really looks like a lot of identity-focused ideologies aim to create a class of people that will accept abusive relationships wi…

Early 2000s too. I was robbed twice, once at knifepoint (or rather boxcutterpoint). Where I was at the uni, there was a place which was famous from having local dresy shaking students out of their cellphones alternately with municipal police giving out tickets for illegal crossing the railway. I got almost jumped in Wrocław while walking with a group of friends; some guy grabbed my jacket and tried to pull me away.

What you call “heterofatalism” is pretty much devaluation: a cornerstone of every abusive relationship. Someone subconsciously feels they don’t treat their partner well, so they exaggerate their negative qualities until they look like a saint for even being with such a piece of shit. This lets the abusive partner not only get away with horrible treatment (at least in their mind), but also look for a replacement while still enjoying the full benefits of a relationship, only to discard the devalue…

From what I’ve seen, it’s not even functionally possible to actually advocate for those men issues that are 100% under the lens of feminism. Your primary audience, the feminists, won’t give a fuck and they might even accuse you of trying to distract everyone’s attention from women issues. What you are allowed (and even encouraged) to do is to preach to the men outside the movement how the traditional gender roles hurt them and how better they would be as feminists. It’s the mirror image of the s…

Honestly, this is what I hoped to happen when feminism started to gain traction. I’m pretty risk-averse, with ASD to the boot; I missed a lot of opportunities either by being too passive, not even figuring out someone’s interested in me, or saying a wrong thing and coming out too intense. It would feel nice for someone else to take care of this shit. Little I knew that it would be even worse; I’d still have to do the same shit, but with more ridiculous expectations and added hostility.

It’s not even the managerial class they care about; their goal is a quasi-religious society where they get to be the priests. As in, deciding what’s right and wrong according to the holy books only they understand, excommunicating heretics and apostates, legitimizing organizations and authorities according to how they conform to the faith, etc. This way, the ruling class would have to appease them, because they could easily mobilize the masses against them.

I don’t think they care about those votes. They bought their own narrative where the men are always tainted with their privilege, so trying to bring them on their side is a waste of time. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point: the more alienated men flock to the right, the more the identitarian left thinks they were right all along and is even meaner to them.

Used to be in a disciplinary committee of a party that was very vocal about believing all women. I’ve seen sexual assault accusations used as a cudgel against a former partner or even a disliked colleague several times. First of all: avoid alcohol while you still can. It will make you feel more miserable, cause all sort of completely avoidable health problems, and make life even harder. Drinking to cope is pretty much killing yourself in a way that’s not only slow, but also painful. Don’t do it. Also: we grew up in a society that simultaneously pushed the idea that men who don’t have sex are worthless, and promised us is the way to true love, intimacy, and companionship. Both notions are false. There are people…

The reason it exists is because the retirement age for men is still 5 years higher than for women, and the issue of draft was put in the forefront because of a war in a neighboring country. If you see women being let through the border while men are forced to stay in a war-torn country as cannon fodder, it will naturally make you nervous. It’s worse. Even if you distance yourself from misogynistic screed, have very mild demands that don’t hurt anyone and back them up with actual statistics, people will jump at any opportunity to prove you’re an incel who hates women and wants to put them in the kitchen. The conservatives are, at very least, openly contemptuous and disinterested, which at least makes things perfectly clear: pretend to be normal or get fucked. The identity-obsessed left frequently pretends to be accepting, luring them in with grand speeches about neurodiversity, while creating a hostile environment with hidden hierarchies, propped up by arcane rules of behavior, appeals to authority and the implicit threat of ostracism and harassment. What we should aim to achieve is full equality. As long as they don’t detract from that goal, there is no reason not to support women rights. Remember that the misandrists are perfectly OK with you being against women rights. It is what they expect and need to maintain their numbers. If they can’t have you as a broken follower parroting their talking points unconditionally and meekly tolerating abuse, they’d rather have you as an enemy. Is something that puts the future of the relationship in question, in my opinion. After five years, if you’re not able to trust that your partner won’t abuse you or cheat on you, it’s high time to figure out if you even want to be with this person. And your partner should figure out if they want to be with someone who suspects them and is ready to bolt.

Intersectionality is a tool which identity politics movements use to subjugate the weaker, less populous or powerful ones. It lets them take a subset of a particular group and make them loyal to theirs: “You’re not only disabled, you’re a disabled woman, and you have different needs than all those disabled men who dominated your movement to their benefit.” I’m not sure who thinks intersectionality could help men, because they’re considered a dominant group; if they ever appear in the context of …

I think this is a dangerous narrative. This isn’t a war between men and women, despite both sides desperately trying to frame it as such. It’s a bunch of opportunists with loud voices vying for prestige, power, and money, trying to recruit people in their crusade. It’s not even a war they wage, because they need each other and destroying one side completely would also end the other. To be honest, most of them are more dangerous to the people on their side who trust them, than their enemies. The …

The problem is that it’s not that they can’t grasp what they’re doing. It might not be what they want, but this is the exact thing their movement needs. It benefits from you getting angry and lashing out against them. That’s how they get members. There are no better friends than misogynist men and misandrist women. It’s a consequence of how identity politics movements (including feminism) treat their “allies.” To be a good male feminist, you have to be OK with being treated like shit—at least in practice. If you’re allowed to say anything, it’s what your betters told you to say; otherwise you can shut up and listen. How does a movement that considers one group of humans privileged oppressors by default, ever going to be good at helping said group? Viewing a person as a privileged oppressor isn't going to precisely do wonders to help you empathize with their struggles, right? If anything it's going to make it harder. That's the key to understanding the problem. If someone, by default, is considered an oppressor, they can't be allowed to have an opinion. Their every need and every demand is suspect because th…

This checks out. I was in a brief relationship with a woman who unironically used the term “emotional labor.” I couldn’t really vent about anything, not only because she was never interested in listening to me, but also it was too risky. On the other hand, she never had any problems with expressing her negative emotions, talking about past traumas, the people who made her angry, past relationships, etc. My opinion was, of course, unimportant unl…

The problem is that we’re not supposed to have our own movement. According to the idpol narrative, we’re unwitting agents of the Satan who can’t help but work for him. Anytime we get close to a leadership role, or even have our own opinion, we can’t help but sin. We’re supposed to listen to our priestly caste and wait meekly for salvation.
