My Golden Rule of pickup and how it helped me overcome approach anxiety.I don't necessarily think its contradictory to want something as long as you don't expect something. How many guys who interact with an attractive woman haven't wanted something from it deep down? As long as you don't get frustrated when nothing comes of it you're fine imo. | /r/seduction | 18/03/19 09:14 AM
My Golden Rule of pickup and how it helped me overcome approach anxiety.I think women/people can get a real sense if you do it too. For instance I find the unattractive life elements are neediness. If you talk to them and you're expecting something from them they really cotton onto that. But if you show them niceness or interest, and just walk away not expecting anymore, then that is quite powerful and most guys won't do that. | /r/seduction | 18/03/19 09:13 AM
My Golden Rule of pickup and how it helped me overcome approach anxiety.I really like behaving like this, the problem is I've always found it crosses over into 'nice guy' territory. If you talk to someone and they just talk about themselves without asking about you at all, it usually makes them feel fondly of you, but you're kind of a sponge in that interaction. The thing is, even in that situation you nearly always feel way better than if you unloaded on them and got a negative reaction back. | /r/seduction | 18/03/19 09:12 AM

I'm in a serious relationship now, but an offhand comment in another sub led to another Redditor asking me what I learned on my journey. This is what I came up with.In any interaction you have, be it romantic or platonic, remember to be a value-giver and not a value-taker. I didn't overcome my approach anxiety until I could look at the woman I wanted to approach and say to myself, and mean it, "I don't know how this interaction will end, but I can guarantee her night will be better for having met me." That's an extremely empowering attitude. If you truly believe that you can bring joy to another person's life, there's no reason not to talk to them. But you … | /r/seduction | 17/03/19 09:22 PM |
Asking Out Acquaintances and Getting RejectedWhile in person is better, I’ve asked women out over social media / messaging and had success. Having said that if she’s interested enough you can pretty much blunder your way through anything | /r/seduction | 28/01/19 11:43 AM
Asking Out Acquaintances and Getting RejectedActually committing to going out is hard, because it’s so heavy. Up until then all of the interactions are really light so it doesn’t mean much and there is no commitment cost. I don’t think you did anything wrong. In person nearly always beats by IM unless you’re almost certain. | /r/seduction | 28/01/19 11:31 AM
