If you wanted to keep her in your life you wouldn't have cheated. She deserves to know you've not been faithful no matter what happen with the other women. Be an adult and tell her youself. If you can"t stop cheating it may be wise to seek therapy and/or accept you're not made for monogamy.

Wow, I'm so sorry you had to experience that. It's really not ok for your partner to remain friendly with that guy. You definitely deserve better than that.

My ex-boyfriend is friends with a guy who had harassed me sexually numerous times (he also harrassed other women I knew). I told my then boyfriend about it when we began dating and his only reaction was :"Oh wow I really like this person, it's weird I wouldn't have ever imagined he would do that to women!". He continued to frequent and be friendly with the guy that harassed me (he didn't even try to hide it from me). When we had fights and I was trying to have a healthy conversation about the pr…

"babying the man you fuck is downright incestuous, hence the "dead bedrooms" in long term relationships" I wish this was talked about more because I truly think a lot of dead bedrooms do stem from there too.

"I was just hoping to find a way to end the affair before my wife finds out." This part reveals how much of a scum he is. Only protecting himself and letting his wife be a fool thinking he's been faithful all along. Be an adult and face the consequences of your mistakes!

True or not it's not far off some people's lives. My dad is narcissistic with sociopathic tendencies. Basically, he is the most important in the household and never thinks about anyone else besides himself. On top of that we works far from home monday through friday. He never knew and never cared about life at home when he wasn't there. If you told him something (even something about you) he will either pretend to listen to what you're saying or not listen at all. A lot of men are narcissists. T…

If it only took 10 seconds why didn't he do it himself in the first place?

It seems like after spending 9 years with her he still has no clue about what CTPSD is, and just for that he a huge asshole.

"Like, if we're incompatible, let's figure that out and stop wasting each other's time." This part. The fastest we know that, the better it is for the both of us. It's even more dumb because (in my experience at least) they can't keep the facade that long and their real personality creeps in more and more as time goes by. There's no way his startegy can't work out in the long run but, of course, they don't think about that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
