When I first joined this subreddit i told my ex about it and he told me I shouldn’t be on this subreddit. So I left him.

Men are so fucking evil. My mom went through something like this but more intense. She left her boyfriend of 4 years because he was an ass but he was so verbally abusive it took her that long to leave. She felt trapped. But the day she left, he called and texted saying he can find her wherever she goes and she will come back to him. So she was shaken up for a really long time, and she still is.

I didn’t realize she also talked about this stuff. I don’t agree with supporting a man and building with him if he’s not financially stable.

It’s taken me a while to learn this, but I’m glad I have learned it. My first long term boyfriend I tried to fix, but after I left him and did my own thing I was flourishing and realized I didn’t need a man to make me happy.

My mom was the same way, she was with her ex for 5 years and developed high blood pressure and had bad anxiety, was drinking a lot, smoking a lot. And when she left him within the first week her high blood pressure dropped to normal, her anxiety was mostly gone and she barley drank or smoked.

My boyfriend had been a family friend for over 3 years. When we first met him, he had a girlfriend and I had a boyfriend. She left him and my boyfriend and I split up. Because he was a family friend we took comfort in each other and hung out often. This eventually turned into a relationship. But out of the 3 years of knowing him, my mother, and me have never seen this guy be this loving, and romantic. He is so wonderful to me, and I to him.

And it’s funny because we show our true selves, if we’re crazy, we will let you know early Ha!

I hate being called “woman” as well. I’m not sure why but when a man says “woman” to me to either call me or say it in a joking way, I hate it. I’ve had a few men where I told them I hate it and so they were assholes and said it more afterwords.

I’ve had ex after ex, as well as my own family members Deal with this too. He seems sooo amazing in the beginning and over time it’s just grows into this horrible thing. I’ve had to eat myself up until I was done with that and left. And Every time you leave it’s “I’ll change” “I’ll be better” etc. it’s all horse shit

I once gave a guy my number that I worked with and one day I was texting someone(not him) and he came up to me and said “oh so your phone does work” like wtf. No bye.

What I also think is funny is we always upset the men when we immediately say “I have a boyfriend” but when we don’t and “lead” them on they get upset too because we didn’t tell them “ I have a boyfriend” men 😒

My mom had to keep telling me he was lying and to not go back to him. A year later I started putting together all of his lies. Lying piece of work he was.

Hate to admit it but that’s how I got my V card taken away. Was 14, and the boy was 17, told me he liked me and wanted to date but wanted to fuck me too. So I gave it to him and of course he ghosted me after. Wish I could turn back time.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
