Let's hope she doesn't anyway; if she had a daughter, she would just raise her to be misandrist too. If she found out she was having a son; well, at least he wouldn't have to be put through a miserable existence with her for a mom. Antinatalism should ALWAYS be motivated by the prevention of further suffering in general as was originally intended and NOT gendered in any way.

Fortunately, quite a few comments are calling it out, and the ones that do have quite a few likes as well.

We're literally seeing Animal Farm unfold before our eyes.

All the more reason for antinatalism; David Benatar, the guy who coined that phrase, is also considerably pro-male but not in misogynistic red-pill kind of way; although, his reasoning for antinatalist philosophy applies to children of either gender; they are the direct victims of procreation.

The irony of using the South Park image is that the particular episode it's from was actually meant to point out the problematic response of when an older woman rapes a younger boy.

Nice, good to know!

I wonder, was the girl on the last slide the one who typed the caption over the picture of her? If so, props to her for being based

"God forbid women do anything" Oh yes, God forbid a woman makes a DV joke and tries to use the "oppressed group" card to "justify" it and gets called out

Yeah, I wondered about that, though I just took the original sticker from Google Images to get a basic idea since I'm not an artist myself. Either way, I wish you good fortune, traveller 🍷🗿

Right, I see what you mean as well.

Yeah, first commenter is right; I guess it is a bit ambiguous, which I had wondered. Though, my original intention behind it was pointing out how misandrists will own a 'male tears' coffee mug as an anti-male statement, so I got the idea of a cat knocking it over (as cats are wont to do), seeing as how there's the joke about 'crazy cat cat ladies'; it kind of represents tearing down anti-male propaganda.

Oh no, of course I wasn't planning on marketing and selling this specific one; that would definitely have copyright issues, for sure. I was just using it to get an idea of what it would look like

I remember first hearing about this story on Snapchat news a while back, fortunately the person running the public story remained pretty impartial about the whole situation and there was even an update a little while later detailing when she claimed she was groomed. The second one was also pretty impartial too.

I wonder, was life12af a guy? I couldn't tell from the screenshot quality, but if I'm going based on assumption, it looked like they were a guy. If so, imagine that; a guy telling a woman to have empathy for other women...so ironic.

Wow, a good number of the people in the comment section are so braindead; sad.

100%. It would be hypocritical of feminists to ask men to call out misogyny then refrain from calling out misandry themselves, or even actively contributing to it.
/r/EverydayMisandry22/02/24 04:23 AM
21

Indeed! It does at least restore my hope to know that not only do all women not hate men, but a number of them are calling out other women for doing so. If I knew you and some of the other women in this sub in person, I'd wanna give you all a really big hug. :,)

Particularly in careers requiring heavy physical labor like construction, warehouse and postal workers, etc. Not that it's completely impossible for women to be muscular /physically fit too, but the fact these careers are so overlooked by ardently female-centric people is saddening.

Radfems: Treat women as people! Equalists/Egalitarians: Okay, got it! *Holds women accountable for doing bad things* Radfems: No, not like that! 3=<

Yeah, it's quite sad, really; especially when you hear phrases like "We don't need dads" from girls and women who had abusive fathers, implying that they never needed him because he was terrible at being a parent, when the reality is not so much that they 'didn't need a dad' but rather that they did. They needed a caring, loving father who understood them, not an apathetic, self-serving abuser who may or may not have been prepared to be a parent. The same is true of boys and men who had abusive …

Exactly; it would be much better to say "Everyone needs everyone" and apply it to the context of simply being in the company of supportive individuals regardless of gender, or to emphasize that it is possible for anyone of any gender to be completely content with being alone if they're introverted enough; but no, it has to be about pushing a gendered narrative to 'compensate' for injustice.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/01/24 07:33 PM

And yet a man would instantly be flamed for saying anything remotely similar to a woman. Scary
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/01/24 05:09 PM

Yeah, though, from what I researched, there were some instances of female contestants outperforming the male contestants in Naked and Afraid, and of course, the articles had to fervently insist that it was BECAUSE of their gender and not regardless of (🙄); there have also been both male and female winners on the show Alone, so yeah, it shouldn't really be seen as a gender thing, but that's the narrative that is pushed

This. I actually hadn't considered some of those things before, and now that you've pinpointed them, it's truly eye-opening and really affirms that I'm not alone in finding something suspicious about resources on female pleasure. About a year ago I started to more thoroughly research the subject for the first time, and it brought some pretty bad anxiety that there was one night I actually didn't get any sleep at all for the first time in my life. I had terrible knots in my stomach (that would on…

Yes, there are a lot of real issues, and you don't hear this phrase as commonly, but that doesn't invalidate it possibly being a problem; My main intention here is not to downplay more serious issues but rather to address potential issues that would otherwise go unacknowledged/unnoticed by the same groups of people who for the most part do a good job of pointing out the more blatant and more serious problems.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/01/24 04:10 PM
8

Yeah, of course that seems to be the case; my point was that there is something creepy about the phrase, as in, it seems to give off a female superiority complex

I'll do you better; I've never been in a relationship and have also been an only child my entire life, so yeah, I'll think I'll be fine as well!

No doubt about it
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/12/23 04:04 AM

Yep; they may not say it outright, but the heavy emphasis on how it puts women at risk without including a more detailed analysis of the cishet male experience says a lot about their motive.

I'm sorry if you haven't had great experiences with it yourself. You don't have to watch it; my issue is with telling other people they shouldn't watch it either.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 09:02 PM
1

True; I meant we just need people to be aware of how ridiculous it is to make fun of someone because of their size.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 07:20 PM
1

Which is exactly why we need to educate young boys (and girls) about penis sizes and their role in sex.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 07:06 PM
3

Yeah; it's so surreal that people on the far right, far left, and center can all agree on that one thing
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 05:02 PM

Yeah, I guess that all makes sense.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 02:21 PM

100%. People will see different scenarios in mainstream media as more acceptable and "realistic" than erotic content despite having more unrealistic notions that are arguably worse for people's mental health.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 01:28 PM
1

For sure. Although, I think the urinal dividers and shower stalls have more to do with personal privacy rather than fear of the human body; but yes, we need to normalize the human body itself, I agree.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 01:24 PM

Again, those harmful effects stem from all of the previously mentioned circumstances those people are in, not porn itself.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 01:19 PM
4

Definitely; of course, there are also upsides to abstaining from physical sex and real relationships; for the former, there's no risk of STI(D)s, unplanned pregnancies, performance pressure, getting kinkshamed, etc. For the latter, the most notable being personal freedom. You can set all your own schedules, work on yourself, engage in all of your passions judgement-free, etc.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 03:57 AM
2

That's true; I hadn't thought of the trickle down effect. Nonetheless, it does seem worrying that so many people, even otherwise intelligent people, are just blindly buying into all of that rhetoric because it appeals to their personal distaste of porn. Though, I couldn't say I'm surprised; we're a very gullible species.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 03:47 AM

Ohh, yeah; I definitely see what you mean now. Was just confused, hehe
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/12/23 01:01 AM
9

What exactly do you mean? Sorry, just a little confused, lol
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/12/23 11:16 PM
1

Yeah; I guess one positive thing that I got from it was learning how to masturbate without it, though I'm not great at creating mental images so even then I struggled somewhat. Now I've gotten to a point where I can rub one out to anything remotely sexual if I'm horny enough, but I still watch it regularly and feel the most comfortable about porn I've ever been. All just depends on what I'm in the mood for.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/12/23 10:53 PM

Yeah, and even anti-porn peddlers, particularly guys from NoFap, can have misogynistic, and even misandric views themselves. They mock men who consume it calling them "beta cucks" or "virgin simps", while calling female pornstars "fatherless hoes" and demonizing them. These are more than likely guys who also come from a conservative background and think their anecdotal bad experiences with porn are somehow evidence for their position.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/12/23 10:33 PM

It would be laughable if only it weren't true.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/12/23 10:25 PM
13

Yeah; several years ago, I was mind locked in New Age spiritism and still watched it, then I came across some GIFs made by an NSFW artist, but when I saw the description say something like, "putting the positivity back in porn" I was utterly confused. I thought, "Uhhh...what?" And then I found some anti-porn posts in my Instagram feed, and then after looking at articles from sites made by other New Age spiritists, that's when I felt guilty and ashamed of watching it; not because it genuinely mad…
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/12/23 10:22 PM

Exactly. And when people try to cite sources on how it affects the brain, they don't consider that the specific neurochemical effects can be good, bad, or neutral depending on how it's being used. They're trying to sound scientifically credible while not analyzing context, which is an important factor in scientific inquiry.
