I think there's some truth to that. Most people won't reach anywhere near their full potential because of bad training and nutrition, myself included. I did post my 4 year transformation and the harshest criticism I got was that it could have been done in 1 year, to which I completely agree. However, this guy's before picture would probably still look way better than my after picture. He's cut from a different cloth than me. Nothing wrong with that, but it did blow my mind how little time he's b…

Less than 1% of natural people will look like that after 8 months in the gym. I am so confident in that statement that I would bet every penny I own. If you think he looks totally average, I'd guess that steroids have highly skewed your view of what regular people look like.

I've got to share the clip from Louie, this one always stood out to me. I honestly grew up believing that women are turned off by male aggression, because it had been hammered into my head by a feminist upbringing. But something felt 'off' about that, something the show illustrates perfectly. The two videos are under 8 minutes in total. To give context, the show follows Louie's personal life and most of his dates go hilariously bad. This date starts off as a rare exception. https://www.youtube.c…

'Feminists Think Sexist Men Are Sexier Than "Woke" Men' That article you linked deserves its own TRP post. I found the concept of benevolent sexism pretty interesting.

I'm inclined to agree here. I'm not good with women to begin with, but I tend to get anxious during an approach and feel pressured to respond to a question right away. It reflects anxiety and a lack of frame. For someone like me, the three second rule might help.

Those are some damn good genes you got. I do a similar routine and follow the protein recommendations. I've been training four years, I'd be happy if I could look half as good as you in another four lol.

I'm curious what brought you to TRP. If online dating actually worked for me I wouldn't care about any of this lol.

A sign that TRP is wrong, or my political beliefs are? Everyone has some amount of contradictory beliefs, the only question is whether or not you realize it.

I'm right there with you and reading these with amusement. It's funny to me that I find so much truth in TRP when I have almost opposite political beliefs from the sub.

Learn from who? I was taught to do exactly 5 sets of 5 and add 5lbs to the bar each day, so that's what I did. But the system you described is basically what I do now and it works so much better for me. 10-20 rep range is the sweet spot. I'd probably be a lot more advanced now if I had gotten a decent coach, but looking back I'm glad I didn't hire the coaches at a commercial gym because they're a joke lol.

Agree with your first paragraph, research shows that soreness does not necessarily equal growth. However, it has just been my experience that chasing the feeling of a pump leads to faster strength/muscle gains than not chasing the feeling of a pump. I do that now, because it works for me. Agree that I could have gotten all of my results in probably a year or less. I did tons of research over the years, but unfortunately it was hard at first to sort through the good online advice, and the bullshi…

I gained muscle so fast when I switched to PPL that I got covered in stretchmarks on by biceps and pecs. That's an awesome visual to imagine. I'll probably go back to SS at some point and see what happens. My nutrition is a lot more optimised these days so maybe that was the problem.
/r/TheRedPill22/12/21 12:25 AM

I generally agree. I had the exact same philosophy as you; I should get strong first, and then worry about size/aesthetics later. The reason Starting Strength didn't work for me, is that after the very beginning I seemed to gain neither size nor strength. When I bulked I got fat, when I cut my numbers went down. My current style of lifting is helping me gain size, strength, AND neuro gains faster than SS ever did. And I'll add my own disclaimer that I'm not knocking SS. Many people got awesome r…

There's a lot I've learned in 4 years but this is a big one: I stopped doing the Starting Strength style workouts, which involve constant progressive overload and trying to constantly increase strength. When I did that type of work, I always seemed to be stuck on a plateau despite being at a beginner level. It wasn't for a lack of effort either, I got used to pushing and failing in heavy sets. Now, I only do sets with 10+ reps for every muscle group. I don't think much about the amount of weight…

I'd love to elaborate! I do the pec deck after I've completed my bench on a push day and don't have any more chest work. Set the weight light. I did 55lbs my first few times. You should be able to do 12+ reps in perfect form. Sit at the machine with your feet flat on the floor and push your back firmly onto the equipment, retract the scapula. Squeeze your pecs as hard as you can. Pretend you're trying to hold a pencil or something between your pecs. Without letting your back come off the equipme…

Upvoted because I feel like this is the elephant in the room that's never talked about when discussing game. Like, let's say I decide to do 3 approaches per week no matter what. Maybe I don't come across any single women in my age range during that time, or maybe I have a few opportunities that I fail to take. Are people making extra trips to the grocery stores, hoping they will find a hot single girl shopping, even though there's usually not?
/r/seduction26/03/21 01:23 AM

I appreciate the good write up. I'll try to adopt the mindset that women want to get approached, even though that might be hard to internalize.

Pretty motivational story here. Out of curiosity how old are you now? And how long have you been on "the sauce"?

Not who you were responding to, but AFAIK there's no actual science showing that organic food is better for you. But you're probably right that you'll see way better women at those stores, because only someone who cares about their body would spend extra on organic.

I thought it was odd that age isn't taken into consideration. I often hope I'll encounter a pretty girl while I'm out grocery shopping or whatever, but in a store with 50 people there's usually zero that I'd want to fuck. They're all old and/or obese. I guess it could also be the demographics of where I live. Sometimes I'm just in awe when I go to the college city next door and almost every girl is at least mildly attractive. They're mostly all 8's, 9's, and 10's unless obese. I'm 26 btw

Out of curiosity, how old are you? It's really hard to believe that you're getting dates with shitty pics unless the women are maybe in their 40s. I've been trying to build frame through my accomplishments and status, but those aren't the things I'm insecure about. My lack of success with women is what I'm insecure about. I don't really see how anything besides women can change that about me.

I'm a lot like OP. I'm 25 and I feel like an old man that's let my life and opportunities wither away. Last night, I went out gaming with a wing. The dude is 30. He's bald. He's brown (possibly Indian). Maybe an inch shorter than me. And I have never fucking seen anyone approach so many sizzling hot 20yo pieces of ass, get them to dance with him, make out, etc. It showed me that I really am missing out and just need to practice game more. But as we've all said here, yes you should start early an…

I was scrolling through the comments trying to find your height. A lot of guys on TRP spout a bunch of shit about how easy it is to get girls, then casually mention that they happen to be 6'6... And it's like no shit sherlock, you're telling me you can attract women easily with what women consider the single most attractive attribute? If you're slaying at 5'8 though, that tells me you've got a real point. I've been in the gym for almost a year now and I'm struggling to grow, but this will add fu…

I'll have to disagree with this. I think 90% of TRP is "LIFT BRO." That's bettering yourself AND making yourself more attractive to women.

They already know the truth and chose to ignore it. You're not changing their mind, and even if you did, it wouldn't matter because it doesn't involve you. But suppose that you really want to change their mind, so you call a transsexual 'male' a she. This leads to two possible outcomes. 1) You start an argument with this person. They are offended from the start, and are committed to proving that they are right and you are wrong. Both sides can argue but neither will budge. This is a waste of you…
/r/MGTOW15/07/18 05:46 AM

Those are not real reasons. I'm not subservient to a person because I call them a certain pronoun - it takes no extra effort on my part. A person choosing to be transsexual may be unhealthy to them, but it has no detriment to my own health. Even if I wanted to change that person's perspective, offending them is an unlikely way to succeed.

If a person wants to be called 'he,' why would you insist on calling them 'she'? This isn't a rhetorical question, I want to know what your actual reason is. If there's a good reason to do so, then I'll admit that you're right and call that person 'he.'

I might be in the minority here. Caitlyn is clearly a biological man, I'm not blind to that, but I'll call people whatever the fuck they want to be called if that's what makes them happy. It makes no difference to me. So I'll call 'her' a 'she', but I certainly won't pretend that trannies are in any way attractive.

I thought this post was a golden standard for what TRP should actually be about; improving the lives of both men and women. Unfortunately, many people that come to TRP will never see that side of it, because their first impression of this community will be of us comparing women to literal shit.

Most of this is good advice, but I strongly disagree with this bit: Eating in a caloric deficit will leave you hungry. That's a fact. I lost a lot of weight eating whole foods and got tons of compliments. At no point did I go hungry, or even eat "less food" than I did before. I hate the notion that you have to eat "less food" to lose weight. My strategy was to eat a high volume of low calorie foods. For me this meant mostly filling up on fruits and vegetables. You can eat a shit ton of beans, mi…

I was a failure of a child. Single meth addicted mother, got straight D's and F's all throughout high school and flunked out of college. I never had any real talents or skills. I noticed that me and kids like me tried to adopt an identity of being "the gamer kid." At first it sounds great. Some kids like to focus on their academics, some kids like sports, some kids like to learn instruments and play music, and me? Well, I like to play video games! It was a great way for me to escape my shit life…

I often wonder how people on TRP are defining feminism. Here's how the Merriam Webster Dictionary defines it: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/feminism 1 : the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes 2 : organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests I interpret that to mean that we want women to be allowed to drive, allowed to work any job they are capable of, etc. How do you interpret it?
/r/TheRedPill25/06/18 01:55 AM
5

Oh boy, here we go. I've been thinking the same thing ever since I found TRP but was afraid to get banned or just shunned out of the community for being a "libtard." Google "feminism definition" and you get this: the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes. That's fairly vague, but the way that I interpret it is that women should be legally allowed to do anything a man can do, as long as she otherwise meets the requirements. I've always identified as a feminist. Yet …

I had a friend die in a fight over literally nothing. At my highschool, we weren't allowed to wear solid-colored shirts at that school because of "gangs." A person who didn't actually attend our school was on campus, and my friend called him out on wearing a solid colored shirt. The dirtbag actually was in a gang and took it as some kind of offense. They got in a fight and it turned out that the kid had a knife. He stabbed my friend once, and I guess he stabbed him in the right spot because he d…

I'm not basing these observations on shit I see online or on the media, I'm basing them on my own life. Nearly my entire family are religious conservatives who believe evolution is a lie from Satan. Apparently this is hard for some people here to even believe lol.

I'll take your word for it, but my experience is different. I come from a very conservative family. They think evolution is a lie from Satan, the world is 6,000 years old, and my parents recently tried to convince me that Beyonce is part of the Illuminati because of a video they saw on Youtube.

Like any rational person I don't completely identify as a conservative nor a liberal. But I'm surprised that TRP is seen as an 'alt-right' group and that much of the posts here (including the side-bar) seem openly opposed to liberalism. I think that left-wing beliefs are very compatible with TRP. For example, I would think that the non-monogomous nature of Red Pill Philosophy is definitely opposed to the religious/tradcon philosophy of monogomous marriage. Also, in my experience most conservativ…

I think the point here is that women have no problem telling men, "you are not entitled to anyone's love or affection." They truly do not give a fuck if Billy Beta dies without ever getting so much as a boob touch. How DARE these mysogenistic men act like they are entitled to another person's body! These same women see nothing wrong with getting pissed off when you just don't feel like fucking them any more.

Thanks for the great suggestion. I'm always looking for shit to do on meetup. I think there's a soccer game tomorrow that I'll actually be able to make it to. I think that's a good place to start, but I don't think I'll meet any girls on meetup. The events that I see are always populated by like 90% guys. However, as others have mentioned, and its obvious to begin with, making male friends would be a great start to meeting girls.

I've always been a fan of self depreciating humor, and in my youth I used it pretty often. I think the assumption I made is that people would see me making funny jokes, and think, "hey, that guy is funny and has a good sense of humor." I vastly overestimated how intelligent people are. They almost always use those types of jokes as an opportunity to bolster themselves in a cocky way to look better than you. I also overestimated the intelligence of female observers, because they think "wow, that …

Thanks for this encouragement. OP's post hit pretty close to home for me as I was raised by a meth addicted single mother. I've spent most of my time on this planet failing in all aspects of life and being poor and miserable. But that's changing now. I've found the path.

In theory, wouldn't the 20/80 rule apply again inside of the 20/80 rule? Out of the top 20% of men, the top 20% of THOSE men would be competing for the top 80% of the top 80% of the overall female population. This would mean that if the ratios were actually exactly 20/80 (I know it's not), only the top 4% of men would have access to the top 64% of women.

Someone who isn't good at game is shows women "hey I'm trying to seduce you". And it disgusts them. The same way how they patronise pick up artists. But the moment when they're getting picked up by one they don't notice and happily go along. That's a great way to put it. We always hear women complain about men that approach them, and how much they dislike that kind of behavior. Yeah my ex is 200lbs, when our 5 year relationship ended she immediately went and fucked Chad on Tinder (she described him as 'really, really, really hot'). Before we broke up, she always complained about how many guys hit on her. So now it's up to me to put hundreds and hundreds of hours into lifting and dieting so I can hope to attain an SMV anywhere near what she can acquire just by sitting in bed eating icecream playing with her smartphone all day.

Not that this will help you, but I was in the same boat for a very long time. I officially quit about three days ago. The reason? I went to the dentist and found out I have a condition called periodontitis. If you want to look at some beautiful pictures, just Google that word. I also felt that sort of anxiety at first. A fear that I might look dumb or something. I realized VERY quickly that pretty much every person there is focused on themselves. Focused on their form, focused on their effort, and focused on how they look. That's why they go to the gym regularly, because they are constantly thinking about how they look and are perceived by others. I had dropped from 168.8 to 160.8. I'm eating vegan and very clean. Today, though, I had an epiphany that I think explains it. When I was constantly smoking weed, I would chug tons of water throughout the day and always had to pee. You hit the nail on the head. When you just have a couple extra pounds you want to lose, you get the mindset that you could just "easily lose that fat any time you wanted." In December, for the first time in my life, I made radical changes. I started eating REALLY clean, lifting 5-6 days a week, etc. I now understand that "a couple extra pounds" is really months of hard work at the gym, in the kitchen, and discipline on what you eat.
