We’ve been married just about two years and I’m stationed in Germany, I’ve already contacted most of my residential attorneys etc in Arizona
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/23 08:52 PM

What do you recommend then?
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/23 08:49 PM

We don’t have any kids and there are no assets besides the car in my name. We can sit down soon after my protection form is dropped for DV, I’m trying to go for the reasonable and financially based route. I’ve talked to attorneys, document holders, legal, I’m just not sure what she is planning sense she has advantage with money being provided to her by not only me bc of military regulations but by her grandmother
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/23 08:30 PM

How should I carry this out then
/r/Divorce_Men17/01/23 09:49 AM

That’s cute broski
/r/Divorce_Men16/01/23 10:53 PM
2

It just plays a record in my head that she could do whatever to car overtime or after she leaves back to the states from the military I’m on in Germany. I just don’t want to worry about extra cost since a attorney alone is going to fuck me in the ass
/r/Divorce_Men16/01/23 01:37 PM
2

That’s her only means of transportation and I’m not sure if she could use that in court. I don’t need the car but it would definitely be beneficial instead of asking others to help

I’m currently going through filing divorcing been in for over 2 years U.S Army AD, married over 2 years . You don’t need to provide spousal maintenance(spousal support) at all. Get a attorney no matter what, sounds like your first time being married, same here. Cut off all social media with her family friends it sounds hard but it will help the process and recovery. The community is here for you

Take pictures of the statements that you didn’t spend that are recurring in your bank balance

Especially if it’s their first love, don’t let him give his all in return he will get nothing but loneliness and grief for putting time in. I didn’t have no guidance of how women can be so deceiving and cold. It’s my turn now

I had a convo with the legal guy CPT, he told me I’m not here for you your here for yourself. I blocked her on all social media and I’m not the type to make it a big deal on the media

I haven’t had the feeling of rubbing one out sense we’ve been alone from each other, porn doesn’t have any effect on me it’s like watching a movie. I believe that when we are not only committed in a marriage but the overall two as one it really has a unbreakable bond that I feel I won’t ever forget. This was my first official realationship and marriage so I’m hitting it full throttle

It’s hard to bottle it, the ppl I’m staying with have dealt with me drinking myself to the point of breaking character(introverted asf)/ puke to the point of passing out. They tell me it’ll be over soon and I need to let her go after 4 years of being together since high school. It hurts so much that I haven’t moved on bc she’s moved on so quickly with social media and hiding her friends lists. Once I cut off my credit card and financial aspect she’s tried contacting me. I told my buddy who she c…

Whatever you don’t get near a bottle. For the last couple days I have been drinking myself away with just the memories conversations everything we made together went through my head. I haven’t been sober all this time. Tmrw I have a meeting with legal about my divorce and steps to prevent it. The best thing you can do is be with people you can talk to and vent to letting out all that you feel as a human should be able to express. I am here for you and so is this community

No matter what I’m here for you OP and ones here helping OP with his situation. I’m currently going through a divorce starting tmrw I go to legal. Was in a 4 year relationship currently serving AD and had be alone for my first Christmas

I’m in Germany, Active Duty, Army, it’s all I know about right now as it’s “a process” for getting divorce. I don’t have a lawyer yet because I don’t know where I stand in the equation. My wife has the upper I would say since she talked to legal first. They have offered me a government lawyer but I also have the chance of getting fucked over so I’m trying look into getting a personal even though it’s not realistic in my financial aspect

If your family can’t even invite you know what invites not even the word, welcome their son with open arms especially since you have gone through hell to a Christmas dinner how can anyone say their family. I’ve spent the last few nights wasted over a 4 year relationship and I have had nobody even check up on me but the ppl I’m staying with and you guys

I woke up this morning with cranberry juice with the smell of throw up, I’ll wake up tmrw and drink some body armor(coconut water related Gatorade) is the best I can describe it. I appreciate the advice and overall advice man I really do

I’m trying to make the right decisions for now until it’s all said and done on paper. Ppl I’ve talked to say fuck around and do what you want. I’m just trying to move forward with no distractions but it’s hard when your the military Army specifically

I’ve been drinking all last night threw up and drank more today. The scenario is I’m at a friends place while I wait on legal this week. My friends are saying sleep with someone to get her off my mind. I’m just numb and done with everything

Thank you bro, the funny thing is her birthday is in December too, she has tried to jeopardize my job the military by bringing weed twice the two times she went home I was stupid enough to let her do it twice. At this point she can take our cat and stoned ass out of my clean life

I just started deleting photos of us(not on social media), bc I was looking through our photos yesterday and I just felt really depressed and heavy. The family has me on the silent treatment which good I guess but once the papers are consecutive done all hell will run loose

I’m trying it’s rough when you don’t have family that stopped caring when you left to better your life and being in the army too with my wife’s family breathing down my throat in the future. I know I’ve made mistakes in our relationship but I just want enjoy my life since I’ve wasted almost 4 years of being together

I don’t have the means financially since she has ran me dry with paying for her to go to her moms place for us to have space 2x in under a year from here in Germany to the states
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 11:30 PM

I’m not sure where to start plus my leadership is kind of “ehh”, so I have to wait till Monday to even access anything. For my wife she has access to something I wouldn’t doubt since she went to legal before I had the chance.
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 11:14 PM

I’m on “cooldown” since I’m in the military Army specifically and I can’t access one until after Christmas

If I was trolling I would be expecting more karmas if you look at the post here and previous ones that I’m asking for advice for being a young male just trying to get a way out of a toxic marriage and have all ends meet and burnt
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 11:06 PM

I’m just split between still being responsible for the meantime until it’s finalized
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 11:01 PM

I mean look where I’m at for being the super duper nice guy I’ve made mistakes but I’ve always had good heart but I’m different now

Ok I understand
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 10:11 PM

So your saying pay it 50% now so I won’t have to worry about later. I haven’t made any payments so technically she could take care of. I know for a fact her family is going to come after me saying im a bad husband for not dealing with being the “man of the house”

I’m at the barrics with a buddy sense she overrides me staying there with legal in my ass. She has access to the car even though I pay for the insurance and overall car payment
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 08:38 PM

She is not on any credit cards I do have her on one of my accounts for transferring money to her but I’m going to close that one and open up a new account for the rest of the money that she is entitled to BAS type 2

Thank you I just got interviewed by the cops and said I won’t talk till I get a civilian or government non payment lawyer that the military will get me I’m wondering which one I should get I’m not Financially able to get a civilian
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 01:24 PM

Does the military offer attorneys besides legal services or is attorneys found in legal
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 12:40 AM

Wise words I will put that in check, she has done a few things already and we haven’t even started the papers yet, doesn’t wear her ring(says she forgot to put it on from being in the shower and putting lotion on) and changed her Facebook photo of us to just our cat and her saying it’s innocent. She even accused me of having tinder
/r/Divorce_Men23/12/22 12:38 AM

I will talk to my nco
/r/Divorce_Men22/12/22 11:33 PM

Okay I understand, so what do I do about going to legal still would that make everything confusing to them since she already talked to them today
/r/Divorce_Men22/12/22 11:26 PM

So your saying she will be the only one still receiving BAS diff whether or not she’s here and that’s why I should open up bank account separate from mine to hers to still receive the bas diff

I just told her that I would give her half of our (BAS) when it comes back pay sense s1 hasn’t fixed our BAS lately and is the only thing they owe us. Then I’ll disconnect our banks from each other. What it sounded like was this process of getting moved out and divorced is quite quickly with our situation, I think it is bc we have were physical with each other and we bruised each other which has only happened a few times since we been together. I understand the separating all accounts for protec…

Well when she got back about couple hours ago but being at “friends” after she said she was at legal the whole day today talking to them, telling them, “she wants to go back to the states and that we are getting a divorce.” She basically laid everything to them and they said they’ll get in contact with my command since she ended up telling them my battalion and company

I’m starting to workout and I plan to focus on different points of interest that need attending financially haven’t been good since I’ve been in the marriage which some of time was my fault for indulging in stuff. Physically, I don’t feel my full strength potential, my mental state is pretty good since i have a “it is what it is” mindset
/r/Divorce_Men22/12/22 10:32 PM

Damn well she talked to the legal people before I even got to

I’m just trying to do the best I can for us both so that she do her and thing and I finally start my life, we’ve been together since junior year high school. I guess people change, stop wearing marriage rings and changing profile photos
/r/Divorce_Men22/12/22 08:11 PM

We aren’t really fighting just being distant she’ll come to our place but the thing is we live in a apartment type of deal and she is with her “friend” and that’s where she has been the last few days. So I would say we agree to terms
/r/Divorce_Men22/12/22 08:01 PM

Thank you I will look into it should help but I’m just ready to move on
/r/Divorce_Men22/12/22 07:46 PM

What about text messages and photos what do I do about explicit pictures sent to each other when we we were together. I will get the recorder and I haven’t thought about talking to other women yet
/r/Divorce_Men22/12/22 06:34 PM

The reason I was wondering where she was was because she took the car and didn’t even say where she was going or for how long. I just found the legal office and will go their in person tmrw, thank you for the advice I don’t have anyone to talk to bc my friends are deployed and I have no contact with family

It’s just been a roller coaster for the last few months both physically and emotionally and mentally, both are at a young age decided to get married when we were 19 and now we are 21m and 22f. We decided to get married Bc I’m currently in the Army and stationed in Germany as we speak. I paid for her to go home twice in under a year period when shit was really hitting the fan and now im just done with it all having to move on from a realationship of almost 4 years
/r/Divorce_Men22/12/22 05:01 PM

I just know it’s going to be a rough process from dealing with her family blowing up my phone to me trying to put myself back together and figure out how I move on with someone that I have been with for almost 4 years this year
