I've seen that in professional and volunteer settings too. Most women are pretty normal and awesome (like most men) but some people are very nasty and entitled. Interestingly, in women's spaces and fake therapy quotes, you see stuff like "you are enough. You are wanted. You are beautiful in every single way. You are loved" which is all stating that you are inherently valued as a person. There is a difference between talking about cultural problems that are more common in some groups than others. For example, it is fine to say that there is a drinking problem in Russia, and an honor-killing problem in India... those things are both true and specifically only to certain groups.
