Good luck brother. Take care of yourself. Things make seem dark now, but in time your life will get better if you put your mind to it. I personally take solace in the philosophy of stoicism. Perhaps that might be helpful to you to deal with these trials and tribulations.

Why exactly has autism in women been historically underdiagnosed? Because women's better social and communication skills masked their underlying autism.

Autism is more typical in males, indeed is theorized to be "male brained," and by definition autism is associated with a deficit in social skills.

So, I am the one leaving my wife, not the other way around, and she is constantly telling me I "flipped a switch." Because I did. Because it was necessary to turn off my empathy, to become cold, in order to fundamentally make the switch from "we" to "me." It's the only way I could go through with it logically and rationally and not let her emotions manipulate me into feeling bad for her and continuing to make it work. The switch flipping is a protective mechanism for my own self-interest that al…

I was a weak unplugged nice guy who fell for the idealizations of feminist romance. Also, be careful about living with women. Even if you’re not legally married living with a woman can be considered common law marriage in the eyes of the law and you can still be fucked by the court system and forced to pay alimony. Don’t live with women!!

Hoarding behavior. Hoarders don't know how to throw anything away. They are pack rats who accumulate little "items." Constantly shopping for shit they never use. Don't pick up after themselves. Let entropy take over the house. Never clean. Are comfortable living in filth. Hold onto bullshit items from past that serve no functional purpose for emotional reasons.

"We need to talk. I know this is hard to hear but I need to just say it. I'm just not happy and haven't been for a long time. I don't think the relationship can be fixed. I want a divorce/separation." Internalize your assertive rights. ASSERTIVE RIGHT I: You have the right to judge your own behavior, thoughts, and emotions, and to take the responsibility for their initiation and consequences upon yourself. ASSERTIVE RIGHT II: You have the right to offer no reasons or excuses for justifying your …

Don't marry slobs who are comfortable accumulating random junk and trash. It's a core personality trait and cannot be rehabilitated.

Key lesson for me was: know my value. Know I am the prize. Trust my instincts. Don't ignore red flags. Center my own needs and be my own mental point of origin.

unfortunately, almost all my assets were generated while we were married so I'm just going to give her half my assets to make mediation easier. I don't want to nickel and dime her. I just want a quick and easy divorce and be done with it. I can rebuild my net worth easily without her spending habits weighing me down.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
