What is going on in your head? TRP isn't about respecting OR disrespecting women. The fact that you can't understand this says a lot about you. Nobody gets defensive, you just seemed to decide what other people REALLY MEAN then get confused when they try to explain that your interpretation is not their message. Why do you promote disrespecting men?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 11:55 PM

Dude. He's trying to explain why it's not promoted. What is actually wrong with you? They don't promote respecting women because it's not relevant. It's not relevant. It. Is. Not. Relevant.

I don't want to hear anything about the kids, other than their existence, until I've determined I want something long term.... and I very likely won't want anything long term.

My grandma was like that. In bed at 10 and up at 4. By time everyone was up she had breakfast ready, clothes clean and folded, and was already working on both lunch and dinner (made 100% from scratch) and when we visited that crazy lady would cook extra and CAN THE LEFTOVERS FOR US!!! She wasn't feeling well one day and asked to go to the doctor. That's when we found out that she had cancer, stage 4, and only weeks left to live. Born in the early 20s, died in 2010.

These people don't care for the point being made, they care for the feelings evoked by the choice of words to convey that point.

If they're going to turn to crime instead of honest effort, they are not going to be useful employees. Especially if they get into trade work, which is booming, because doing the right thing instead of the easy thing is what keeps us safe and Alive.

The thing about opportunity is requires you to take action. If you're not seeing opportunity, you're expecting a handout. Expecting a handout is indicative you probably won't be a valuable asset. Grow the fuck up and take control of your life.

Even with that you can get into some higher up jobs in retail/ restaurant management. My district manager, when I was in school, only had an associate's degree in business management but had a base pay of 80k.

Negative. I got a lot of attention when I was fit. Then I got in a car accident and am very soft due to injury and recovery. The only difference is I'm not buff, I'm soft, and I get much less attention.

I don't see what's practical about sharing my hard earned money with other people while getting little in return. My take home pay is pretty substantial and I'm going to retire before 50. Why would I work longer just to support other people all for just a little sex? I mean, sex isn't everything but I can find symbiotic relationships with people that'll provide everything but the sex and that could potentially lead to an even earlier retirement
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/20 10:12 PM

Wtf. What is the point in a relationship without the sex? If I want companionship, I have friends and my dog. If I want to share my income and life with someone who thinks like me but without sex, I'll continue to live alone.

No bro, we gotta judge EVERY interaction based on the races involved. Everyone knows race is the primary factor in any interaction, not the actions or communication. Remember, it's racist to treat black folks as individuals, they're a collective. Get woke, all black people are the same

So... with all the hatred and bashing on whites with affirmative action and other positive discrimination, there is now a systemic oppression against white men. They have lost their privilege. You're the one applying meaning to their statements to fit your agenda instead of being a functional human and trying to understand THEIR message. I moved to Ohio 3 years ago, the women here all have issues. The last one had some amazing pussy control so I kept her around well past the expiration date. One night we're out on a date, planning a weekend boat trip on her dad's boat on the lake. Nothing too fancy but nice enough. I keep myself relatively sober until I get home, if I wanna get hammered I'll do it safely at home. She asked if I got the uber yet... I was dating a chick 2 years ago that would bring up politics when she got drunk. One night she goes on a tirade about how guns need to be banned with a seamless transition into "trump is a fascist and literally going to kill everyone. So I calmly stated "you want the fascists to take all our guns? You sure they should have that power?" Right there she shut everyone up and broke up with me because I'm a terrible person. I'm 34 and it's becoming painfully clear that these women are miserable and getting more miserable as they start to feel the consequences of a decade of sleeping around and ignoring the "good guys" It's so hard to form a genuine connection with these ladies, meet them for a date or at the bar and it's like a job interview. I've been clean shaven only a few times since 2008, when I got my honorable discharge, and I definitely saw the difference. Working at Lowe's without a beard, customers didn't trust me. With a beard, everything I said was gospel.

I started trimming mine because of a comment a girlfriend made years ago. "You should trim that beard so you don't look like those lumberjack gay dudes" Too many betas wearing the long beard, now I keep it to no longer than quarter inch. Over the few years since then I've definitely seen her point and I think the tidy beard works for me

Dude at work was talking about how he pays less in taxes than I do because of his dependents, wife and 2 kids. I told him how I pay less than half of what he does and I get to have fun. It's not uncommon to watch a chick complain about fuck boys then promptly go fuck them. I see it at least once a week at my local watering hole. Women speak about their feelings in the now, their actions are what show the reality. A woman will also take this comment as intended to be absolute 100% across the board truth for everyone instead of an frequent observation over my 34 years of living.

I just turned 34. I landed my first real job a few years ago and they moved me to Columbus. My work is in the middle of nowhere with long hours. My company has great benefits but medical benefits have been on a sharp decline for 3 years now. Pay isn't increasing that much either BUT you get better raises by switching companies rather than stagnating at a specific company. I've turned them all down so far, mostly due to shitty relocation packages and my company matches 6% 401l with a free 3% that increases by years of service. I interview at least once a week and nearly always make it to the final interview. A lot ot times the pay is the …

She convinced me to fuck while drunk. Shortly after that she was posting to Facebook about how that situation is rape... she couldn't comprehend that her logic made HER a rapist. Women do all of that to get attention from the men they find attractive. They don't mind being catcalled by someone they think is hot but they have problems with the men they don't find attractive. It's just the way it is. Women DO feel violated with men they find unattractive hitting on them because that's not who they're showing off for. Being the hunted means you have your pick from all the cocks throwing themselves at you. With dicks flying from all directions, more than a few of them are going to be above your SMV. Whether you're a chick who is at a 2 or a 7, you're going to get some dicks from a higher SMV to choose from. Why choose equal or lesser when you can simply accept the advances from above? As a dude, at…

Unless someone is directing things to you, none of those are a concern. I have PTSD, the real kind. Not the "I got so offended once" kind. Not one of the guys in my group therapy EVER has an issue with what is said online. And you didn't even answer the question. You gave me an appeal to emotion. Feelings really don't matter at all and I could not care less if I hurt them by having an opinion you dislike, talk to people you don't like, or discuss things you don't like. The whole world isn't all …

Yeah, last rally I heard about they got attacked and ended up with 13 people stabbed. The KKK guys got let go as they were acting in self defense. Pretty fucked up when you gotta defend the KKK because they were doing things right and got attacked. Fuck their "safe spaces" view (they're not all the arians) which is totally in line with the regressive left's view of cultural appropriation and safe spaces. But I gotta defend the fact that they did nothing wrong, and were victims.

Which christian group is killing people? Which christian group is radicalizing people around the world to kill people? I FUCKING HATE RELIGION but it is ridiculous to pretend that christianity is anywhere near as awesome (in terms of terrorism and kills) as islam in the contemporary context
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/16 07:34 AM

How about something a little more contemporary. Or how about some science, goto google.scholar.com and find me some peer reviewed sources, explaining how words hurt people? The words didn't hurt. The blind belief did, which is the regressive left and 3rd wave view. Everything is racist. Everything is sexist. And you have to point it all out. ARGUMENTUM AD HITLERUM
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/16 07:27 AM

That's cool. How many people have died before hearing allahuackbar and how many have died from christians? What christian terrorist groups are out there? I've not seen one, and I frequent the gore forums on the net. Also, can you (either post it here or just think about it) quantify the number of deaths and injuries from those and compare it to those from just the paris attacks and the brussells attacks?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/16 07:23 AM
3

No, because christians are fat and lazy. They're not out actually killing people. Have not been in quite a while. Hell, the KKK had a peaceful protest and ended up the VICTIMS! What kind of fucked world do we live in where we create victims through acts of violence, where the victims are the KKK?

I think it's a misunderstanding of what being poor is like. People really have no idea what it's like living paycheck to paycheck while having no guarantees your job will last. Pepper sprays are getting less "misty" these days. We have a lot of college students here who think that fighting with knives and pulling guns is cool, which results in cops dousing the crowds with spray. The newer sprays they have are far more precise so there is significantly less collateral face burning.

The fact that people make all kinds of assertions against trump that are based entirely on emotion and ideology does not make the assertions true. Sometimes, you have to look beyond all the opinion pieces and look at the reality without projecting your ideological biases onto the situation, all so you can see the reality of the situation and make a judgement based on reality rather than the repeated feelings of people who believe that straw man arguments are somehow effective against trump.

TRP isn't platitudes. It's blunt and harsh talk on reality as is experienced by many men who take of the ideological glasses of being a beta bitch. If they were platitudes, we wouldn't have an innumerable history of posts in this sub about TRP being so hateful and sexist. I tried askmen. Askmen is like "ask the fat single guy with few friends about life in the basement" and the relationships link... lol lil bit o red pill knowledge with more vague duckspeak.

If treating like shit is not a subjective term, can you objectively describe what "shit" is?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 08:26 PM

If a man says something stupid, I call him a retard. If I do the same to a woman, I'm a sexist or treating her like hsit.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 08:25 PM
3

Well, lets say you're trying to talk to an absolutely gorgeous (by your preference) woman, and hoping to have a chance at romantic/sexual relations. You do not compliment the fuck out of her. That makes you "Nice guy" and a "creep" What you do, is tease her. Look at the way she dresses/body language and find something she's obviously insecure about (Lots of make up, maybe she's insecure about her face?) and tease her about it. That is one circumstance. In sales, I find I do much better with wome…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 07:16 PM
4

Can you really quantify "treating like shit"? I can't think of anyway to quantify it other than specific situations. You do have to generalize when dealing with the population because humans suffer from this affliction known as agency which gives people different perspectives due to life experience. For the sales? My fucking numbers at my last 3 jobs.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 07:13 PM
5

When I'm drunk, yeah.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 07:09 PM
5

It is entirely circumstantial.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 07:09 PM
5

I treat everyone like shit. Treating like shit is subjective. If you tell a girl you're dating how beautiful you actually find her, and buy her gifts, she gonna cheat. If you hold out on it, tease her, and generally be somewhat of a dick, they'll love you even more. Also, in sales, it helps to treat women with a firm tone (like shit). Sales go way up.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 07:08 PM
6

I think it's an uncomfortable truth that everyone does know but few women like to have worded that way. It does not paint a gender as inferior.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 07:05 PM
2

Well, "treating like shit" is somewhat subjective. But, if you're a nice guy you're gonna get nothing but stomped on. You do have to treat them like shit, which is how we treat men as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 07:05 PM
8

No. That is not an insult to a gender. That is a statement to men about how to deal with women. Uncomfortable truths are not bigoted, they just are.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 07:03 PM
6

I know the standard definitions, however the words sexist and racist are thrown around all willy nilly these days totally destroying any meaning that they have. With that said, what exactly that he said discriminates or prejudges a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 07:02 PM
6

I need to understand your definition of sexist. The definition, as I understand it, is the view that one sex is superior to another. None of his statements make any sort of implication that he views women as inferior or men as superior.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 06:56 PM
5

If I really need to bust one but can't get a hold of someone better, yeah. Especially if I've been drinking.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 06:55 PM

Nothing he has said has been sexist. Misrepresenting his arguments so you can dismiss them is called a strawman fallacy. I cannot address your statement until you define sexist.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 06:53 PM
2

No there is not. They get called "nice guys" and are given platitudes, which is disrespectful.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/16 06:47 PM

I said not always. I like sex Sex is fun I know sex results in babies. I do things to prevent the creation of babies. I don't want to be associated with someone, more than casually, who cannot take basic precautions. There is no accident when having a kid. You chose PIV, you get a kid out of the v. Because of 30 years of personal experience and pretty much everything that is discussed on RP/TRP places. The altruism and sensitivity (feeling) leads you stuck in a cycle concerned only with your interested and what gets your dopamine going. Rational thought and changing based on the environment allows you to be considerate of others as you're required to think of them in your interactions.

Because women have the final say on who gets to bed her. This means they're the final line of defense for preventing an unplanned birth. Single mothers, not always, did a terrible job somewhere. She's either unstable, stupid, or unfortunate. Her life reflects her choices and a single mom is not someone to do anything but sleep with

Basically, I got out of the navy and couldn't find a decent job, so I decided to go to school. The GI Bill didn't pay out until 2 months in and I got evicted and suspended. My savings disappeared and I got trapped in retail and kitchen management, where the pay is within 5% of minimum expenses. And nobody can afford to give you a small chunk of the hundreds of thousands of profit dollars you helped them make. An ex, she is in jail for stalking me, got me fired from the pizza place I was managing…

The combination is the best part. No jitters, the most pure focus I've experienced, and I'm able to sleep much better. Taking it by itself (no caffeine ) gives me an epic calm

I completely agree on both accounts. I'm a HUGE fan. I got some caffeine/theanine combo pills which are great and some quick dissolve to go with my coffee. The improvements to me sleep quality are pretty great too. I sleep on my terms but the quality is much better

I recommend supplementing with L-Theanine (it's the amino acid in green tea) because it has similar effects on the brain as meditation. Here are the links from a comment below. Not really placebo. Both Meditation and L-Theanine increase the Alpha brain waves Do some reading on it, it is quite fantastic.

I do. I also manage a supplement store and was recruited from a general nutrition competitor. Walk into these stores and look at the marketing for men vs women. For women, it's all about bright colors and low effort. Give them a pill and tell them that's it. Not the same for guys, their stuff is marketed as for getting stuff done. Far more products marketed mostly towards them, because men understand it takes effort. 10-20 personal transactions a day, 5 days a week for about 2 years now makes it…

Comparing an entire diverse group is retarded. One of the major reasons I am Blue instead of Red is because I am not interested in a relationship where both participants are competing or trying to out manipulate one another. I don't think it is necessary. But this seems what TRP is all about. You statement shows your affiliation with a group requires a change of behavior on your part. It does not. Having information and a new perspective allows YOU to CHOOSE how to behave based on what info you have and know.

You failed to read trp, or you've failed to articulate the point I think many red pill would agree with. TRP is a reaction to the feminine control in the dating/sex/marriage world that has been created by feminism, either intended or natural, and tells men what has been seen as successful and why it's thought to be. No changing society, no blame, just "unfuck yourself and deal with the way the world is"
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/16 01:43 AM
2

Considering your opposition is nothing more than "me no like da tone " and no attempt at addressing anything beyond that, you're lying. I don't agree with the bible, but I have read it and know plenty of verses so I'm able to actually debate the bible, instead of "its so misogynistic". You should try a similar approach
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/16 01:34 AM

Not at all. The president is a small part of the government. I'll refer you to the amount of stuff accomplished during Obamas presidency. It's widely known and accepted that they've done as little as possible to blame Obama. Doesn't matter if you support him or not, this is the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/16 11:58 PM
2

I noticed it before trp. My best friends, chicks, always blamed everything on society or alcohol. They didn't wear makeup because they wanted to highlight their facial features, they told me it's because society told them to do it. They didn't cheat on their boyfriends because they were unhappy and looking for a better dude by sampling his dick, it was the pitcher if beer we typically shared that made them do this. Yeah, you do see men doing this but there is a group of crazy 3rd wavers constant…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/16 11:56 PM

It's pretty obvious given that many many many women like to blame society for just about everything. Something about the preferences of the majority being actual orders to women.

/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/15 01:13 PM

Asking for something copied implies you have a bias in your interpretation. A more objective question, implying the ability to have an unbiased opinion when presented with information, would be "Name one TRP **you didn't noun here**** that was not evolved and improved upon from the PUA community. Which would be answered by the comment you fucking replied to.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/15 04:28 AM

Obamacare.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/15 02:37 AM

PUA was the realization that men and women communicate differently. PUA was the initial translation for men on how to communicate with women. TRP is the useful application of that language by becoming someone who is fluent in it. PUA = Manipulation TRP = Being the person you need to be to get what you want
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/15 02:36 AM
5

PUA = Manipulating to get what you want TRP = Changing yourself and your habits to get what you want. You could say one evolved from the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/15 02:33 AM
2

The anger phase is part of evolving out of the need to manipulate, PUA and seduction, to get what you need to being able to change yourself to get what you need. The sidebar on trp has some decent information on the anger phase.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/15 04:05 PM

It's not seduction. If you went to trp and spent about 22 seconds reading the sidebar, you would know it's about changing and improving yourself to appeal to women rather than resorting to manipulating (seduction)

/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/15 02:04 AM

Read the fucking sidebar. Jesus bro, it's about succeeding in the world as it is. Bringing change to yourself, not the world. Your level of reading comprehension is a perfect example of what the fuck is wrong with this world.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/15 11:52 PM
1

Attractiveness shows more about a person than their looks. If they're in shape and take care of their appearance, they want to be their best and show their best to the world. Unattractive people don't make the necessary effort and that surely would carry over into other aspects of life that require discipline and dedication. Tldr, being unattractive is your first sign of compatibility

Hey dumbass: if you haven't tried to make yourself RP you don't know what chicks it "works on", or as we would call it, attracts. I was that guy for a local circle of feminazis, until I saw them at the bar and they realized I was the guy they were talking about

I enjoy the ass I get from these empowered girls, I just really hate that I can't have a conversation with them without contemplating suicide/homicide.

Fucking quantify the fucking misogyny (hatred for or oppression of women) or fucking accept you're proving the fucking point
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 02:40 AM

If being more attractive were mainstream, obesity wouldn't be an epidemic. DUMBASS
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 02:30 AM

So, point proven that it's tone that causes the opposition.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 02:27 AM

Because men and women are fucking different. It's entirely different. A man without abundance mentality IS LIVING IN DREAD EVERY SECOND HE'S WITH YOU BECAUSE HE KNOWS THAT YOU JUST HAVE TO SMILE AT SOME OTHER GUY AND YOU'LL GET YOUR FILL OF DICK. No special snowflake stories plz, I know everyone here is totally awesome, quirky, and totally not like anyone else

Funny, many of my lady friends stay in shitty relationships until a better ship comes along. Anecdotes are fucking fun!

No marriage. Everyone is s bitch anymore. Gotta spend my days blaming my fat rolls(or any other fault that belongs to the individual, that can be fixed) on society and it's standards. I'll get married when women have standards and aren't perpetual victims. Until then, fuck the empowered sluts til your heart is content!!!!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/15 02:14 AM

Women do shame nice guys. The problem is, a woman can't see past her emotions and experiences thus defines nice as X while loser bro in b the corner defines nice as y. X is not equal to Y, thus nice guy is creepy.

Most feminine people do. The masculine imperative is rooted in the v quantative
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/15 11:32 PM

Uhhhhhhh this is no different than all of the clickbaity trash memes on faceboob about how curves are beautiful and the other feminist bullshit. C'mon now, a little self awareness will prevent you from emulating feminists.

A chick with achievements is easier to talk to because it's easy to get someone talking about themselves. Also, how do people know about your achievements before they have talked to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/15 05:56 PM
0

Yup. It's literally that simple. Care about yourself, your life, and your hobbies, and women WILL flock to you. It's not about being an asshole, it's about treating the chick like A HUMAN FUCKING BEING rather than a special snowflake.
/r/MensRights13/12/15 01:43 AM

No, when you look like a slob and offer absolutely nothing attractive but being nice, you're friend zoned. They don't actually want a doormat, d they will tell you in more "protect the feelers" kind of way. Pay attention TO THEIR ACTIONS NOT THEIR WORDS.

That was not his point. Do you actually read or do you skim for ragebait?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/15 09:31 PM

I was "raped" last Saturday. Boy was it awkward when I sent her on the way and said "thanks for raping me!" I was drunk and about to pass out when she showed up and jumped me. I barely remember anything.

/r/MensRights12/12/15 02:09 AM

I've tried making this point, but I'm a white dude. The thing is, talking about privilege being an issue seems to imply cutting people down to a shitty situation. Talking about disadvantages actually addresses problems and implies fixing them.
/r/MensRights12/12/15 01:04 AM
5

Yup. I've even trained and coached my employees on this, it does help our conversion rate. However, plenty of people that once worked retail part time for a month say that it's not true and sexist.

Things that help natural levels: High protein and fat in the diet, adequate sleep, lots of water, and lifting. I was borderline low and I found a thread here long ago that outlined how they help. Now, I'm pretty much perfectly average

Typically a man's job. If a chick can do it just as well, no problem. The point is that MEN are BUILT due to their BIOLOGY to life heavy things and do heavy work. It was all my point. Unfortunately I got downvoted like I would if I posted an inconvenient fact in a feminist sub.
/r/MensRights10/12/15 03:09 PM
1

Yes, but this is mens rights... and as most of reddit makes very clear, they're just as bad as 3rd wave feminists. It really seems obvious when a basic biological fact gets downvoted.
/r/MensRights10/12/15 03:08 PM

They're literally not built to be the heavy lifters and heavy workers. Source: The entirety of human evolution and our understanding of biology
/r/MensRights10/12/15 03:07 PM

It's a man's job because our biology makes us more suited for it. I hate the bitching almost as much as the "secular creationism" everyone seems to have when it comes to human biology and evolution

Nope. You're fucking hung the fuck up on the fucking language used. We don't (red pill in general) doesn't hate women. They strive to understand them. Think of it like beer or wine tasting. You need to learn to appreciate it.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/15 03:03 AM

Having female friends, I've heard this from the horses mouth more than I'd like to admit. Not to mention my nights where I get whiskey drunk and tell everyone I see they have great tits, those finding me attractive are receptive while those that don't, think it's creepy

/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/15 02:16 AM
-18

My experience is they're very similar to feminism in that they like to bitch and moan about society and gender roles 95% of the time and the other 5% is actually discussing QUANTIFIABLE issues. I want MRAs to man the fuck up instead of whining. Quantify the problem and offer solutions. Women are the ones who would rather bitch.
/r/MensRights06/12/15 02:12 AM

Abundance mentality isn't about fixing/taking care of/supporting someone else's mistake, it's knowing that IF YOU DON'T WANT WHAT THE CHICK HAS TO OFFER, you can go elsewhere

Unattractive people you mean
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/15 07:37 PM

Trp explains how the dating and attraction worlds work. There is no ideology. Outside of the pillsphere it IS FUCKING USELESS to claim a pill. So yeah, I don't flaunt a title and I'm having more fun with better people.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/15 01:32 AM

The media doesn't program us, the media sells us what we buy. You sell what is in demand, sometimes exploiting it. TRP exists because people with YOUR MENTALITY would rather blame everyone else for issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/15 01:29 AM
3

And you've never noticed that they just yap and never actually offer solutions? Come on now. I have 4 best friends from high school that are all chicks and I REALIZED 15 years ago that they were useless in terms of discussion of any solutions. They are really fantastic people who have really added to my life, but they're useless in understanding men's problems and our need for solution over validation

/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/15 12:54 AM

You're not soldiering on when you're blubbering about your feelers. Soldiering on would involve working through the hurt fee fees then fixing the problem that caused it. No where in a solution does "opening up" help
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/15 12:51 AM
2

I think it's important to ONLY show emotions and feelings when it serves a positive outcome. I utilize a few things for my negative feelings, exercise, my friends, and self reflection (your feelings are hurt because you let them be, not because of words. Find out why you're upset v and fix the problem)
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/15 12:46 AM

Weird, every time I've been in b the receiving end of a break up, my looks and character were the same but my financial situation got worse. Surely Jess, Stacie, Stacy, Tina, Marissa, and Lisa were just shallow people.... right?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/15 12:43 AM

Does it matter that it's sexist? Can you quantify the damage and harm done by creating a AWALT as a quick way to say "women gonna be women? By your definition, is everything sexist? I mean, you can only generalize people until you know them intimately.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/15 12:39 AM

Masturbation is not adequate Sexual release for a dude. Sorry, it's not. My balls are blue and my test is high because I couldn't finish my last excursion into a wet cave and despite punishing my member relentlessly, it's not gonna be normal until I get back in there and blast one off. If Masturbation were good enough, no man would hook up or commit to a woman. We would all engage in sexless lives with other men
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 08:31 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 08:12 PM

It works.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 08:10 PM

Not true. Style and fitness would do wonders for an ugly bro, the rest of trp advice would get him the rest if the way there. This is that "just be yourself" bullshit advice. You should feel bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 08:02 PM
2

That's called a strawman argument
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 02:05 AM

Feminism will never die as long as there are people who out emotion before realty and intellectual integrity. Frankly, I think it's adorable how pretty much every modern feminist talking point can be reduced to "women are incapable because of men so men need to give us special treatment"
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 02:05 AM

1 in 5 my ass. If rape were that common I could throw a stone in any direction and hit a rapist in the act or b shortly after.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:43 AM

It would be like sending single black mothers to "don't abuse welfare" seminars.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:39 AM

I agree. More feminism = more sex without commitment. More sex without commitment = more of my resources (money and time) for me and my interests.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:29 AM
2

It's like being back in the navy or back on the football team.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:28 AM
1

That's it exactly. TRP helped me realize the difference between 20 yo me and 28 yo me. I don't see any of the manipulation people talk about, but I think the cold language deters people because they want happy words.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:27 AM
1

You stereotyped TRP, might want to check your double standard and hypocrisy privileges
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:25 AM
2

Amen to that. I no longer get my choice between "slut a" and "slut b", I get people with more going in their life than complaining that Starbucks isn't paying enough to cover their gender studies degree
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:23 AM

10 lbs for women? Ovals tend to report 'average" or "a few extra pounds" for body type
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:09 AM

I don't associate with people during my time who need to claim titles showing their ideological dogma.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:08 AM

If you claim something, ANYTHING, and have no proof... Ima call you a liar. Why? Because proof is what makes reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:06 AM

It isn't a huge problem though. It's happening less in the modern world
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:05 AM

Not at all like that. I'm sorry for your trauma but pragmatism and objectivity were tossed out the window due to subjective feelings
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 01:03 AM
2

Read the comment. Dudes typically have no problem fucking someone they hate. It's the release of sex that fulfills the man. This is also why so many women think they're so much more attractive than they are (and that being a lazy lard beast is cool), because dudes just need a wet place to get them off
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 12:58 AM
1

Actually it does.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 12:51 AM

I think the burden of proof is on you as you're making, or implying, the claim that morality is necessary. It's kind of like how theists have to prove the existence of their deity, not the atheists to disprove the existence
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/15 12:42 AM

What I know is that capitalism rules the fucking world and these issues are almost entirely fueled by profit, so a shitty lifestyle which leads to shitty pills to help you maintain your shitty lifestyle as long as possible. So, if you have anything even remotely close to this sort of fucking issue your fucking doctor is going to give you fucking pills so fucking peoples fucking pockets get fucking lined with fucking money. If you fucking don't have the fucking problem you're fucking going to fuc…

/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/15 09:59 AM

My point was more that fat women who don't want to accept that their lifestyle choices effect their physical appearance like to claim HYPOthyroidism but can never seem to get the appropriate hormone therapy from doctors. Those I've met with actual DIAGNOSES of hypothyroidism don't look for quick fixes nor do they ask for supplements because their doctor couldn't blame their obesity on their hypothyroidism due to labwork.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/15 06:52 AM

That's hilarious. I been a worker long enough. When I quit being a "BP" and started taking charge of my life, I became management. As I type this, I start to associate BP with Peon and RP with Management.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/15 06:50 AM

I have empathy. It just serves no purpose to change anything about my life if someone else is hurt and I can't fix it. IF you're sad/hurt and it doesn't effect me (through personal relationship of any type or being directly effected) then it serves absolutely zero purpose (well, maybe to stroke my ego... #narcissism) to give any shits about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/15 05:14 AM

I've been on both sides. The thing is, if an issue is there it is to be resolved by these parties. They were implemented for that reason, to resolve said issues. Avoiding them in solving said issues is retarded.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/15 05:12 AM

It's not heterosexual ideals. We are a sexually dimorphic species. It seems logical that we would categorize traits as such, masculine and feminine. I'm not saying every gay person is "Man" or "Woman", just that they're like everyone else and predominately masculine or feminine.
/r/MensRights24/11/15 12:48 AM
3

A very masculine woman CAN show a boy how to be a man. It's not a matter of dangly bits but a matter of lessons taught and influence given. Just the same as a super feminine gay dude wouldn't be a good "Father" but would probably fulfill the "mother" role quite well.
/r/MensRights23/11/15 06:18 PM
2

People don't like it when you can notice trends in groups of people. I don't mean any absolutes, but in a very gay friendly college town I see this sort of "split" daily. I don't think I've ever met or come across a gay couple that didn't have some level of obvious "That one is the masculine and that one is the feminine" appearance or tell.
/r/MensRights23/11/15 06:15 PM
-1

I've always been fascinated by it. I think it says a lot about our "pairing off" as a species.
/r/MensRights23/11/15 06:13 PM
10

You can get the masculine and feminine from gay and lesbian couples. I'm friends with 3 gay couples, 2 dude couples and 1 chick couple, and they have more of a masculine/feminine split than most of my straight friends in relationships
/r/MensRights23/11/15 05:38 PM

If it works, it works. And boy does it work as my chafed member is reminding me
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/15 07:21 PM

Can you define misogyny? I don't think dudes spend time trying to be attractive to something they hate. Jesus fucking Christ this is ridiculous. There is a fucking difference between hating tendencies shared by many women and fucking hating them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/15 07:20 PM

Really? In my experience the uglier a chick is the better the job she does. Doesn't have looks to coast through life on so she gotta perform.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/15 01:10 AM

Women are hit on constantly and can date from a number of men. Men are not and don't get to date as much. Dating is how you learn about what you want in a relationship. Do you see where this is going?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/15 01:30 AM

Slut shields? Is that where the fatties and ugly girls approach me with more balls than most men I've known? I find it flattering and always flirt a bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/15 01:25 AM
2

Where do you get that idea? Lifting, reading, having hobbies, and being practiced socially is quite beneficial to all of your life. TRP is about taking control rather than riding along. TRP would advise losing weight, TBP would say you're beautiful as you are and shouldn't try to improve.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/15 01:24 AM

A man slutting is different. For one, I hang out with my best Bros girlfriend because it gets me laid. Women like a man who has validation from other women. Social proof and all that. Second, when women Slut they're giving away something valuable for next to nothing. When men slut they are using tools to acquire something valuable. When men get sex with the ease women do, then both slutting will be equally despicable

Tone bro. TONE. When I'm drinking with my buddy and say I would destroy that hot blonde at the bar I don't literally mean it. I mean "I would fornicate that blond who is more attractive as I drink"

Because RP is all about making men appear more attractive... That is pretty much the absolute shortest summary of TRP you could provide. Excellent! Because women totally masturbate to pictures of absurdly high bank statements, dread gaming, and negging? THAT'S what women are supposed to find attractive? No, women don't . However, they're more complicated in what they're attracted to. This can be simplified to bank statements, confidence and being desirable (dread game) and teasing/playing (neggi…

You really should try reading the sidebar more. There is very little specifics. It is general advice that is easily applied in any way you see fit. It is a philosophy, which leaves it all to interpretation. Also, you didn't explain at all how it sets people up for failure. The fact that my life turned around on all fronts after finding TRP (which really just helped me realize where I went wrong and helped me get back to what was working for me) and it seems like this is a pretty common theme.

You see, when people communicate in a casual setting, they use words that can be taken as absolutes. We all get a little further in our discourse if we assume that not everyone means everything in black and white terms. For all intents and purposes, my BPD, anxiety, and PTSD are gone. I call it remission because if I start to slip on my diet and exercise it comes back. I've been med free for years because of v this.

It's about discipline It clears the mind and keeps you focused Depression and (social) anxiety disappear with regular exercise You don't have to be like the governator to get aesthetic improvement. The confidence, fitness, and more balanced hormones lead to better posture which benefits every interaction with people. Try reading more and cherry picking less.

When my car had a leak in the brake line, I didn't just tape it and say it's cool because of the symptoms going away. I replaced the brake line. I can't see why anyone would not want to fix a problem with their body, their ONLY body, rather than put all of their trust into masking the situation. Although.. it's not surprising. I was originally diagnosed with clinical depression. After the meds didn't help, they decided I was bipolar II. They kept telling me my meds were working, but I wasn't happy... or sad.... nor was I able to perform in any way useful at work. To understand that, understand where TRP comes from. Most of them, experienced a lot if vague talk and ideas. They hear one thing but witness another. They talked to their girlfriends, girl friends, sisters. Aunts, etc and got the same thing. Communication is the exchange of ideas. The problem is that those who like to talk typically don't like to take action. No female friend of mine, family, or significant other has EVER been happy with fixing the problem, it's just talking ABOUT it and giving platitudes. I'm 94% sure that's the type of communication you were mentioning trp hates. Men communicate quick and to the point.

None of mine did. I don't deny there are good therapists, but I think there are more people in the world throwing pills at problems rather than fixing the problems. Plus, not having to get blood drawn every Tuesday morning is pretty fucking awesome.

It's not about us vs them. This is the mentality that needs to fucking stop. In my experience, women get it easier in life. But. That is based off of my values which are shaped by my experience. Who? You make this sound common, but I've not seen it. TRP isn't about judging. There are how many thousand subscribers to TRP, 6 figures? If you've only slept with 1-2 girls and imprineted on them, I can understand that skewing your sense of attractiveness towards them. This right here. Until I got confident and started getting laid, I really had a thing for the 2 girls I slept with first (One a curvy, not fat, brunette and the other a fit Asian) in terms of body type and appearance. Now that I'm.... far beyond 2, I find it easier to appreciate the beauty of women outside of those 2 categories.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/15 01:09 PM

Hot/Not is almost entirely based on physical attraction. A hot or not list is subjective, but people do tend to share common interests. No matter how many people I've slept with or relationships I've been in, there is still going to be traits I find attractive and many of those traits will be seen as attractive by other men, whether virgin or slut.

TRP doesn't place blame. It sees things how they are and develops to the situation. That's literally what every post is about on TRP, even when they have angry and offensive posts about single mothers and what not. It's about adapting and overcoming. Not blaming and bitching. TRP is amoral and apolitical discussion on men being men, motivational posts, and advice. There is no ideology to subscribe to thus no need to worry about the language used. Why is it such a concern on the language used? TRP was born from men being feminised into depression, why would they feel the need to con…

That's not what TRP is about at all. Do you even bother to read it or understand where TRP is coming from? It's not an ideological system. It's teaching guys to be better men so they can find the success they desire. Most of this is Sexual or romantic success, but that's it. If the over the top phrasing and language wasn't a clue, coupled with the red pill / blue pill analogy, I don't know what could get the point across. Aside from that, if enough men decide to man up we will see change. Change…

It is not an admission of guilt. When I was falsely accused her parents (who actually made the claim and coerced her into lying) tried to get my parents to give them money to drop the case. EDIT: False accusations are REALLY PAINFUL to deal with emotionally, socially, and I would assume professionally (I was only 18 at the time, so I wouldn't know about the third) and it can seem like an easy out to just pay the "fine" and move on instead of fighting it and living with the stigma.

I blame men as well as women on this issue. However, it was the feminist imperative that created this gendered climate. I see the left always trying to make things equal by focusing on one group over another. I'm liberal as fuck, but the progressive crowd tends to forget what equality means.

The thing is, they have both now. Even with abortion being debated, they have the pill (giving them control) and equal rights under the law as well as some affirmative action helping them. I think the problem is deeper than that, what? I'm not sure.

MRAs actually talk about specific topics that need help. Not a vague general discussion of how the world is unequal because of choices made or because life sucks for everyone. Divorce Rape - Big topic for MRAs and rather popular in RP and TRP Domestic Violence Shelters - I've experienced it first hand. There is little/no help for men. There are a few others, but I find any dogmatic group to be a waste of space and time.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/15 04:52 AM
6

No. I didn't have anywhere to go when I was abused. Why? My dick!! I had to wait for money to be gathered to put me in a hotel, which was too late and didn't need it anymore. I have feminists to blame for making it a gendered issue leaving me out in the cold. Without the focus on women, we would have addressed DOMESTIC VIOLENCE as a whole and already had shelters available for both.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/15 04:50 AM

AWALT applies to every woman in the sense that all women will be women and are capable of the best and worst that we've experienced. It's really not a difficult concept. It does not mean that they will act exactly the same. That's asinine. Is it really hard to assume that all women are capable of acting like women? We know men will act like men, as we all seem to go through the anger phase at one point or another. That anger phase lasts a different amount of time and has a varied degree of inten…

There really is no debate to be had. You're fundamentally wrong, I explained how, and you went back to taking everything literally. You're obviously trolling. No need to feel sorry at all. Your comment shows that you see the example i painted but maybe you're not grasping the point just yet The words themselves are a small part of the message. You were not arguing that AWALT is a literal statement? What were you arguing? That's what it seemed like. I tried to tell you that you're misunderstanding the concept and trying to debate it from that standpoint, which is wrong. I then explained your misunderstanding that AWALT is only a term meaning "women will be women" (the parallel is that men will be men) .
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/15 12:37 AM

Again, you have read the material. You need to read it again because you're taking everything literally. You're not actually understanding it. (Feels > Reals. You're being put off by the language which is preventing you from seeing the intended message. Obviously, it's not for you.) Your real problem here is with the over the top alpha language used to express this point. I've seen countless comments in PPD explaining why this language is necessary to people swallowing the pill.

TRP describes why pretty well, but from my 2 LTRs (1 of which ended up being very abusive to me) I've learned that they simply are not compatible with me in LTR. Why? Well, they gave it up freely to a bunch of people. I do find it hard to associate intimately with someone who freely gives away a highly valuable item. I'm currently dating 2 girls that are slu…

I grew out of the anger phase and left TRP, only occasionally lurking what pops up on my front page. There are so many members there with a wide range of background and life experience bringing them there. How many people are in the anger phase too long? If there are specific people that are in the anger phase for too long, why are we not getting them/offering help instead of debating about them as if they are hypothetical? How much of this "excessive hate" is really just the fact that there are…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/15 12:02 AM

So.. your problem with TRP is the fact that people trying to be "alpha" are too masculine in their commenting?

I have standards for myself but you're forgetting that men and women ARE DIFFERENT.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 11:57 PM

So, the only parts people don't like about TRP are the things they strawman? (AWALT)
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 11:56 PM

RP dies understand that people are different. It also acknowledges that groups of people share tendencies. Don't look at RP or TRP as full of absolute statements, only BP thinks this. If you're too feminine to understand the meaning hidden behind the masculine tone, you're never going to understand beyond the common strawmaning

Also, I've done the reading. I understand it and the meaning behind it. I don't, and didn't, get hung up on the wording. I shifted no blame, I simply stated your understanding was based on the superficial arrangement of letters into words and that you needed to revisit the material to get to a level of understanding adequate to actually debate your point. I cannot argue against the strawman you created as its fundamentally wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 05:32 PM

You're the one with the misunderstanding. Instead of asserting your misunderstanding as the truth, you should read the available information and then ask questions to clarify any grey areas or confusing points. After this is done, you're adequately prepared to debate. This is a debate sub, not an "educate me" sub. I mean no offense, but please do the research before you start telling people what their terminology means. It's far more productive and pleasant when we debate the actual ideas rather…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 05:28 PM
3

Again, you're arguing against a strawman built from misunderstanding. You're telling me I'm wrong because I understand AWALT and you're right because of your misunderstanding of the concept. I can't debate you until you actually understand the term, see my other comment for the brief homework I did for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 04:17 PM

I see no references. You're stating you saw something that I did not, I want to see what you're talking about
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 04:14 PM
3

To do your homework for you: AWALT simply means women are women, not men. Men and women have different tendencies due to Sexual dimorphism (brain structuring is different and hormones are different) and AWALT is a reminder that you can't put women on the pedestal or expect them to act in a way a man does. A great example of these differences is the offense taken due to misunderstanding the concept of AWALT.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 04:13 PM
3

Again, you're misunderstanding the point entirely. Nice try though. Go read the side bar, pay attention to the message, try to understand the other side of the argument, then come back and comment. Until then, you're proving AWALT.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 04:02 PM

If the women wanted it, they could make it. You can really only apply "shoulds" to yourself, otherwise you kind of come across as authoritarian

I see no references, just assertions and telling how people should act, think, and feel. Are there sources I'm unable to see?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 03:31 PM

Can you source this? It seems to be the BP experience with TRP but not TRP experience with TRP. I'm more inclined to trust TRP on TRP than an outsider
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 03:16 PM

The anger phase tends to be more vocal too. It's almost as if guys work through the anger phase then move on. This leaves quite a bit of anger for the public to snoop
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/15 03:12 PM
3

You made no points. You misunderstood TRP and built a straw man. If you're going to straw man and tell me how things are in a place you're not associated with, you're offering nothing to the discussion but a BP circle jerk. Nobody is saying to blindly accept the sidebar, just to have the integrity to actually understand the intended message before you comment on it.
