Can't recall right now but anything related to neuroscience, evolution and human behavior will explain it. Actually a book that is easy to read, short and for people starting in the subject will be Meet Your Happy Chemicals. It's on amazon and really informative. Heck it's a self help book in a way also.

It's part of the human nature. All our mind does is predicts the outcomes of every situation, person or reasons for everything. Guess is hardwired into our brain by evolution. The point of the free time is to use it. Thats why you plan an agenda ahead of time. Some things I use it for is to study more on the subject of neuroscience, playing The Game, socializing more, et cetera. You should try it, bud! Being organize can do wonders for your cortisol level!

So the AMOG attack first meaning he was insecure of his frame in the situation and needed the attention back. The alpha thing to do was ignore the attack as it's a WASTE of energy. Well, evolutionary speaking, it helps with survival back in the days. One, following your tribe will help you survive against threats. Everything in moderation is okay. But I think the point of OP is instead of using his downtime hitting a high note he just meditate.
