Sounds like you know the good things to do, believe it or not if you know what you need to do it just happens quite naturally if you FEEL confident. Work on that. Learn inner game ma dude, all other techniques are manipulative bullshit.

Lots of people in this thread are really discrediting your issues. Please for the love of God ignore them. Just arrogant people saying; I have no issues, I don't understand yours so you must be complaining about nothing. No. By the sounds you're having some serious problems regarding sex and emotions regarding relationships. You seem like a smart lad, all I can say is keep working on those things man, bring them up specifically with your therapist, make them out as a goal for the therapy session…

Ya would take real confidence and charm to pull off properly I agree.

Yeah it's an unexpected and surprising thing to do. No guarantee every girl will like it, I agree.

So, the important thing is to wait for confirmation from the girl here. You put out your hand and smile at them, then if they take your hand you have a big signal of interest and already a lot of barriers are broken down. Quite frankly at this point you can do anything, you were confident enough to show a genuine smile and she responded with interest. I agree with you, running up to a girl and grabbing her hand, spinning her and lifting her is weird, it breaks a lot of social boundaries. However…

Sounds like you're rather concerned about the opinions of other people around you. Would you call that an attractive trait?

You think a drunk girl wouldn't be pleased to be led and moved around by a genuinely confident and safe looking man? While on a dance floor, where her specific reason to be there might be to find a man. Says a lot more about you that you think it'll go so badly ;)
/r/seduction25/11/19 06:32 PM

This is very effective, if you have the confidence to pull it off. Considering most people are here to find that confidence, I dont think this will be particularly well received. I like the theory behind it though. I can see how it would create excitement and make her want to pursue you.

Cognitive behavioural therapy is helping me through this one. Maybe your situation is different but it deals with the should statements we use, we judge and put ourselves down by saying we should be different, or we should have acted differently. We use these shoulds on other people too. In reality there is no why reason why we should be any different, we are what we are and removing these should statements removes a lot of pressure and resentment allowing us to grow. A great book is 'Feeling go…

Devils advocate, perhaps she suffers from anxiety? Much like a lot of people on this sub meeting people in public can be very scary for someone who suffers with mental health issues. She may have taken the easy way out and blocked you as she was scared to cancel. If so it's not your fault or her fault and there's absolutely nothing wrong with you! I completely disagree with the people saying that another guy came about, or that she is stupid because she is a woman, be careful of who you listen t…

If someone truly loved you there is no doubt that they want to be with you, when you love someone you think they're awesome right?
/r/seduction19/07/19 09:07 PM
1

Maybe you would benefit from improving as a boyfriend, nobody is perfect and we can all strive to improve, use this as a lesson, reflect on maybe why she is acting like this. You are still good just the way you are though. And it's not beneficial to try and impress someone who doesn't see your value.
/r/seduction19/07/19 09:06 PM
1

Saying im only with you because I love you sub communicates that you're pretty shit and she's only staying with you to give you a chance. Not how someone would treat you if they loved you.
/r/seduction19/07/19 07:43 PM
2

Thats okay! it feels wrong because you don't have the best image of yourself right now. It feels right that she would be treating you as not good enough because thats how you feel about yourself. Do you really want someone to be treating you as such though?

I do it on very rare occasions because I don't like it really, however i'm always clear with girl that its the case and that i'm not expecting any oral back. We're all equals, if you dont want to go down there prepare to give up her doing so too! (On no occasion have I had to give up her doing so though ;) )
/r/seduction19/07/19 06:07 PM
1

Think as if you're the most confident man in the world, because you could be! nothing is stopping you. She is openly telling you that she is not sure if you are good enough for her. Your self esteem may be not the best now but imagine it was, FUCK HER! how dare she even suggest you're not good enough right??? You're fucking killer man. Her loss, drop her for even doubting you and get someone who appreciates you :).

Have some standards my man, if a girl is sleeping around while she has a boyfriend that shows a lot about what type of person she is. Personally I wouldn't go near that with a barge pole. Good luck if you still feel you want to go for it though!

An exercise that helps me is to sit down with no distractions, and then you must really feel the stress. Let that stress wash over you. I know it's scary but you have to think of it like the stress is knocking on the door, you have to let it in. Let all those thoughts like "What if she doesn't like me" or "What if this is gonna end and im gonna get hurt" run through your mind. Allow yourself to follow every rabbit hole to its most dreaded end. What if she does hurt you? Then you'll be lonely a…

Right, I see where you're coming from, you're giving him a push to motivate him to carry on with what he is doing. The way I interpreted it however, is that he is asking for help in how to feel less anxious. And no I dont have any brothers.
/r/seduction08/11/17 12:52 AM

He already knows? Then why would he ask? I don't mean to be aggressive i'm just not understanding you, what exactly is it that he knows how to do and why is he being a bitch?
/r/seduction08/11/17 12:33 AM

I think he knows that, its why he is asking for help. How is that ever gonna be nut check enough???
/r/seduction07/11/17 11:07 PM

I don't buy that, depressed may be a strong word but if he has stopped caring there must be a reason.
/r/seduction13/07/17 08:04 PM
2

Sounds like he might be losing interest in life. You can't fix someone's depression for them, be supportive and maybe consider finding someone who can satisfy you.
/r/seduction13/07/17 06:24 PM
5

You've got a long road to building self esteem. Read books, see a therapist and spend large amounts of time thinking.
/r/seduction13/06/17 02:59 PM
2

You're belittling his position. One thing to remember is that he is not you. You're hearing what he is saying and thinking: "Oh when I was a little down getting a hobby sorted me out". Thats fine not bad advice, but not for this guy. He's suicidal and lacking in social skills to the point where he's never held a girls hand. Now i've been in a similar position but still not close to that low and if I got the advice you've just given id want to kill myself even more.
/r/seduction13/05/17 02:42 PM

I so disagree, medication is a temporary fix which will likely result in him being a zombie while he's on them and the same when he stops. Depression is something that comes from emotional scars, rejections when we were young/ never learning how to be around people. Medication won't do jack shit to help that.
/r/seduction13/05/17 02:33 PM
3

You are completely lacking in understanding.
/r/seduction13/05/17 02:31 PM

Thats incredibly harsh and untrue. Freudian theories that people like being depressed are just that: theories, so don't come in acting like its 100% truth.

Theyre just not interested and want you to go away. Don't worry about it though, keep working on it.

I actually think you should definitely not fake it, fix yourself first. Read models by mark Manson, it explains why becoming attractive is much better than faking attractiveness. Also why acting untrue to your feelings is actually quite a needy thing to do.

Have you read models by mark Manson? It really helped me relax around women

Hey, thanks for asking. I'm feeling a lot better this week, I have started online therapy as a way to privately talk to a counceller perhaps as a way to build myself up to the real thing I don't know. The most of my recent progress has actually come from reading models by mark Manson, his chapters on neediness actually describe and explain a lot of the issues that I talked about in my post. I appreciate you checking up on me, I'm in a mindset of improvement right now and I feel hopeful which is …
/r/seduction25/11/16 04:41 PM

I don't know how to get a therapist, I live in the U.K. Anything done through the doctor is free and pretty unhelpful. I'm also struggling with the idea that my housemates would know that I'm going to a therapist. Again I know this is distorted, insecure behaviour and that's not me. I can't help but feel that things are pretty bleak right now.
/r/seduction14/11/16 08:44 PM

Oh? That's an interesting thought. However i wouldn't like to put her off though by showing that Im looking for other girls. I feel like this is the sort of girl who would simply move on if she saw that I wasn't invested. You know the sort of stage where you're not really in a relationship but wouldn't get with someone else?
/r/seduction10/11/16 02:49 PM

I would agree that a therapist is my course of action at this point, I feel like I'm close to exhausting what I can do for myself. I also completely agree that I am vulnerable, although I'm surprised you were able to pick that up in such a small post. I've been told before that this might be caused by a damaging experience earlier in life, I can't think of anything in particular though. Thanks for your answer.

The lack of self esteem you talk about may be causing some needy behavior. Which could be putting girls off. Maybe look in to improving self esteem, becoming more independent.

If I were you I'd ignore this stuff from people who don't have social anxiety. It's hard to understand when you've never experienced it. Remove the social anxiety and you will be able to be yourself in that situation where a girl is coming on to you, Ive been in both situations myself: where im so frozen with anxiety I can't bring myself to even look at the girl and where im dancing and having fun with her, im only 18 but at times where my social anxiety was gone those social situations couldn't…

Tinder has been shit for me so far. Ive got about 20 matches and the ones who have actually answered made no effort at all. It's like they're expecting something brilliant of me that I can't bring. I know it's boring to talk about what they do and what their interests are but I can't think of any way of getting around that to break the ice with someone. All I get are one word answers as if im expected to make them laugh and entertain them instantly, and when I don't they stop responding.
