I never lived in Japan, I just spent a few months at a time. I think everyone should visit once if they have the means but no place is worthy of a marriage contact. I'd suggest seeking a company based in whatever country you are a citizen of and see if they can't place you in one of their satellite offices. Mass shootings are horrible and I feel genuinely sorry for the families that suffer. They're also a rounding error on deaths... I wish people that were in a frenzy to disarm would start with genuinely dangerous things like junk food and opiates.

I never buy flagship phones but I do carry three phones with me. (Really handy when you have multiple things going on). I still buy iPhones for my (adult) daughter while she's at University because it allows me to play the "I know nothing about Apple products" card when she needs my help. I should get my mother an iPhone too, come to think of it... "Have you tried rebooting" might be effective, but it's annoying after the 500th time.
