Don't Let Others Slow You DownThis is over cooked bullshit. I'm not going to evaluate people I know into thirds ranked on subjective shit. You want to be good at something? Make decisions that ultimately help you develop at whatever that thing is. Make these decisions irrespective of other people. They can follow, or they can stay behind. Push yourself as much as you can, and people that want to be a part of what you'll doing will appear in their place. Fuck stupid formulas. | /r/TheRedPill | 29/12/16 11:08 PM
Being a "lone wolf" will absolutely destroy you on the inside, see the value of a social life and acquaintances before it is too late! That's a pretty hard hitting and understandable post. I would agree with you. We're social animals, it's hard to deny.... and we might agree that superior social skills are learnt by frequent socialising, not going 'lone wolf'. That said, I think trying to be hard to be social and being rejected through lack of 'worth/value', or being seen as the bottom rung in a group is a terrible thing for someone to go through, especially over an extended period of time I know a few people that are openly co… | /r/TheRedPill | 14/10/16 06:34 PM
Red pill gold comment about Tinder, posted on ROK.I did a test with a fake POF account. It was a 26 year old 'female' called HermantheGerman (Herman is an obvious male name). The profile subject line simply said Bratwurst. Everything else blank. There was no picture. It had 60 profile views inside 2 days. 30 messages received in the same period. Mental. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/07/16 06:44 PM
You all need a Red Pill about fitness and "Getting Big"big, lean, natty. Pick 2. If you wan't all three, then you best have the genetics of a god or you'll need to stick a needle in your arse. Food, sleep and training like a machine can take a man very very far, but if you expect to hit 100kg B/W and be 'shredded' or even 'lean' at that weight, good fucking luck. Bradley Martyn and various other social media orientated lifters have given a false perception (even if Bradley has never claimed to be natty) of what you can look like. 260lbs @ 6-8% bodyf… | /r/TheRedPill | 12/05/16 12:03 PM
You don't have to lift to be fit, but...Interesting. We all train differently too - I cut a lot of weight to get faster, and probably trained in a bit of a calorie deficit too often, or sometimes ran certain runs too hard. Running is awesome though. Just like lifting, the same mentality of overcoming plateus applies and its immensely rewarding. A big part of me wanted to carry on chasing running goals, but wanted to take advantage of lifting in my mid twenties. I just couldn't afford to turn 30 while rocking the upperbody of a 15 year… | /r/TheRedPill | 28/12/15 10:59 PM
You don't have to lift to be fit, but...Can I just make a point about running? Been exercising for the last 4 years. 3 of which were heavily invested in running, from anywhere between 30-55 miles per week. I've spent the last 11 months lifting, and as rewarding as running is, it will leave you very tired if you do much of it - it will deplete you & leave you feeling pretty weak outside of your sessions. Even doing 5 x 90-120 mins of lifting per week - deadlifting/squatting heavy every day - I have so much more energy. Be careful with … | /r/TheRedPill | 28/12/15 05:03 PM
They Will Try to Stop YouA huge part of progression, in general (i.e lifting) is learning to correctly filter 'noise'. We're faced with the dilemma of wanting to learn from people and seek out good advice that will help us improve at any given thing, but at the same time there are so many fuckheads spouting shit & imposing limitations. Know what you want, find solid + tested information resources to learn from. Apply that information and keep shit to yourself. Results can do the talking. | /r/TheRedPill | 29/11/15 10:30 AM
Girl on OKCupid subreddit keeps telling herself that she's attracted to betas - and then learns that her "perfect, amazing" boyfriend is a RedPiller.Yeah, people in general seem to act negatively to the concept of hard work and focused effort in just about most things. A good example is in health and fitness/lifting. People react very positively to somebodies healthy image at that moment in time, but tend to react negatively if that person then reveals that its a 2 hour a day, 6 day a week hobby. "You track your calories?! You must have OCD" or "You're obsessed and need to get a life". It's the same with what you mention. If people invest a … | /r/TheRedPill | 20/11/15 08:19 AM
Are you proud of your father?Thank you, it's appreciated. For years I felt nothing toward him - I was just apathetic - even at his funeral. That in itself, is tragic - a son should feel something for his father. I think the older I get & the closer I get to the age he was when I was born, I start to realise what a pathetic man he was. It's when I look back and see what I didn't have, and the struggles that ensued because of what he didn't do, that I start to get angry. You are right. I take pride in that I've turned out not… | /r/TheRedPill | 23/05/15 10:08 PM
Are you proud of your father? My dad was a violent alcoholic, who took snatched me from my mum as a baby, and took me for some impromptu camping under a bush and tried to introduce me to beer at 2 years on a rare visit. He sobered up and somehwat sorted his life out when I was 7 and I saw him a couple of times a year. Found him to be uncomfortably racist, and when I was a few years older, found out that he had daughter with a married woman shortly before I was born. This girl never knew of his existence and likely never will… | /r/TheRedPill | 23/05/15 06:47 PM
"People Die From Exercising Like That."Sorry but running 'slowly saps protein from the heart'?! Wtf, that is some shitty science. Would love to see your source on that. Still, lifting + HIIT > long ass endurance for most things in life - won't disagree there! | /r/TheRedPill | 12/05/15 05:18 PM
