Oh, come on, Musk and Trump have it sooooo hard! Haven't you listened to them? /s

Wow, I never thought of it like that, but it makes a lot of sense, actually. I've felt antagonistic towards RP for a long time, seeing through the gurus, who are often single or seem especially unfulfilled and aggrieved, but looking at it from this perspective adds another potential dimension. Thanks for sharing!

So much this. Women are 50% of your potential human relationships, sans the sex. Female friends provide a perspective I may never understand, and it makes me a more rounded individual. Female friends have been shoulders to cry on, given me empathy and compassion, and have looked after me so many times in life that it's uncountable. The reflex sucks but definitely follow up with this is another human being experiencing life from a perspective that could benefit from your perspective.

This was very well said. I have a similar background. I'm here to listen to people and have done so all my life due to familial mental illness. I'm uniquely equipped through my background to respond compassionately to other's suffering but it does come at a cost to myself. I've also had to learn through discernment to avoid discussing trauma with people who don't have the bandwidth or capacity to listen through no fault of their own. Regardless I hope that people find the people in life that wil…

I haven't done a deep dive on Hasan. Some of the stuff I certainly agree with but can't give a full throated recommendation. There definitely seems to be a cloud surrounding him. I thought he was mostly articulate when conversing with Andrew Tate which is my main exposure. Aba and Preach on the other hand I definitely recommend. Especially if you're coming out of the Red Pill. They have fairly consistent views on accountability and pretty much point out what they see as hypocrisy in other YouTub…

That's kinda my take. I mean I also think the dude is human scum and just one more person I have to potentially waste time on explaining to my boys why a 40+ year old whose never had a long fulfilling relationship based on mutual respect is probably not going to be your ideal life coach but that's easy enough since he's an anthropomorphic MLM. The real thing why my usually lenient attitude against censorship is triggering off is because the guy spent a bunch of money to game the algorithm so muc…

Thanks! I really appreciate it! Sorry things ended up going south on your thread. I hope you find that wonderful person who will love you for who you are. You deserve to be happy, most of us do regardless of our differences.

This sub is making me sad. I already dislike being a guy but I love the two little boys I'm raising. Reading all this just makes me want to cry.

This was a really well worded reply. Bravo!

Agreed. Our culture absolutely worships status and materialism. It's hard raising children in this environment.

Ouch. That sucks. I'm sorry he did that. You'd think given his background he would have appreciated what he had.

So much this. So so much this. I love my wife, she hurt me in ways no other person ever could but because I had a strong support network I had people all over the world having my back and inviting me to live with them worst case. She ended up attempting suicide with her AP's plural and she called me in the middle and said she never felt so alone in her life. Balking, in the midst of the most suffering I ever experienced i told her I couldn't relate. I said all my friends and family had my back a…
