Stop comparing yourself to others. You need to start focusing on yourself and making your life fun and interesting. Read books on relationships, body language, and join some type of sport. When I first went through this journey I started doing BJJ. You want some type of sport to get you active and improve your health. It also adds an interest topic to talk about. I also read lots of books. It’s a little dated but the overall idea in “How to win friends and influence people” is still something I …

I was dating a girl and we were sleeping in a tent together. We were cuddling and I pulled her in super close in a very comfy way. The way she said “I like the way you hold me” was the sweetest words I’ve ever heard a girl say to me. It instantly made me feel extremely desirable. I’ve dated a lot and still never had anything top that feeling in the moment. Still chasing it

This, the girl I’m seeing is a friend of a friend. She doesn’t use dating apps and stays mostly within her friend group. Without socializing with my friend and being introduced there’s basically 0 chance I’d have ever met her.

Go out, have fun, and really try to get to know people instead of going out trying to get laid. This takes all the pressure off and girls just want to have a good time. Switch to this mind set you will talk to way more people, both guys and girls, and make new friends. Talk to people and get to really know who they are. Learn their interests, job, everything you can about a person, and be genuinely interested. I’ve friend zone girls because they’re clearly not what I’m looking for but they’re st…

To add to this, if I was in OP shoes and have been, I make sure to be friendly and win all the other people over first especially her friends. If you win her friends over you will lower her defenses. This can be a test and you need to pass it.

Two very clear indicators I’ve seen and had 100% success rate after seeing are if they reapply lipgloss or have a gum. Don’t get confused though, we had already been flirting and on a date but these two indicators have always been green lights for me.

When I stopped chasing and flipped it to “how would this girl fit into my life and interests.” It filters out a lot of garbage and you get much more compatible girls. I started friend zoning a lot more girls after this flip and it drastically improved my game. Ask those friend zoned girls to go out and have fun one night. Showing up to an event with a cute girl, even if she’s a friend, shows preselection and boosts your attraction to other girls. Girls also typically have girlfriends that they c…

This is how I use to be when I had low self esteem. I read a bunch of books and started dating more. At one point I was going on multiple dates a week with different girls. This isn’t a bad thing, it’s a screening process. My goal isn’t to sleep with everyone, it’s to find my life partner. To do that I needed to test multiple people out for compatibility. It also helps give you social practice and you have much less fear of losing said date because you have others. Some are good people but not w…

Go home tonight and sit quietly with no distractions. Close your eyes and imagine the best version of yourself. Picture what you’re wearing, you’re likely smiling, wearing clean cloths, fit. Think what the best version of yourself hobbies are. Now write down all the stuff you think the best version of yourself is and start working towards that. I became interesting. I do martial arts, have hobbies that I can passionately talk about, and I’ve become social forcing myself out of my comfort zone. I…

I’d say it depends on the person and you need to be in the mindset to take that pain to grow from. Some people just can’t handle it but I can. I dated a 10/10 last year, she broke up with me, and I went through a fair bit of growing pains. Used that time to reflect on myself, read books, and focused on looking for quality. Now I’m dating a girl that’s much more compatible and never would have found her if I didn’t go through that pain. I worked hard on myself and really put it out there that I w…

In my personal experience I find watching something to be a mood killer if you just sit there and watch. I’ve had much more success when I put something on to be more background noise and then either talk to the girl or escalate to touching and making out. You either needed to use that opportunity to talk to her and bond more or get close enough to physically escalate. She was already comfortable enough to come back to your place so there’s a high chance she would have accepted physical escalati…

I’ve dated a lot of women and I’m honestly at a point now that I’d like to sleep with one woman for the rest of my life. It’s good to gain experience if you’re doing it safely but just getting high numbers to have high numbers is a horrible goal. You should be going in with the mindset of finding a compatible partner that compliments your life. Going on adventures, having a good time, and making memories is so much more fulfilling than banging 5 randoms you don’t care about. This starts to get i…

I’ve got one. One thing you might not expect is that it’s a hard line deal breaker for some women. Even if they’re on the fence about kids some will straight up stone wall you once they find out you can’t have kids. I’m happy with my decision. Don’t be dumb, make sure to still wear rubbers if you’re seeing more than one person. STI’s are very much still a thing to worry about. But once you’re consistent with someone it’s awesome not having to worry about kids. Make sure to get tested after the p…

Have you ever gone fishing before? You don’t just pull on the line as hard as you can. You need to give out some line or the line will snap. Right now is the time to let out some line. In other words just act normal for now and don’t force anything.

Some people can’t handle it and some can. I have a few different circles of friends and there’s a bunch in one group that have dated eachother over the years. They’ve been a friend group since high school so lots of things happen in life. I personally have no issue with it as long as there’s no risk of cheating. If your buddy has a girlfriend now I’d say your risk is much lower but it’s your comfort level. If you can’t handle it then just friend zone her and move on. You can even use her as a so…

I hate dating apps. It seems like women are low effort on those platforms. It’s kind of funny, there was a girl that was giving me very low energy responses. She’d reply with only a few words at a time and didn’t seem that interested. I was ready to cut her loose and as a last effort asked her on a date. She actually accepted and once we met she became very warm and conversations flow naturally. I honestly just feel women get overwhelmed with matches on apps. In person is always better. Body lan…

I answered this question last week and seem to be the outlier. I’ve had more success when we split the bill or she pays on the first date. After becoming friends with some of these girls and asking questions I’ve been told that some girls can get the feeling that if the guy pays for the date the girl now owes the guy and needs to put out. This has turned off some of my dates. Girls shouldn’t date you because you buy them things, they should date you because you add value in other ways. In the pa…

An old friend of mine tried this. It resulted in the cops being called and he was banned from a bunch of stores.

I find dating apps to typically be low effort conversations. I matched with one girl and the conversations were just as dry. I thought she had low interest so after a few days as a final shot I asked if she wanted to meet up. Surprisingly she said yes and it turns out she’s just a very busy person and doesn’t use apps that much. Now that we’ve met and exchanged numbers the texts are very warm and regular. This is why I hate dating apps. Girls match with so many people that it’s hard to have a re…

I find it interesting that most people here say to pay. In my experience I’ve been much more successful in closing when we split the bill on a first date and have a 100% success rate when the girl pays. I’m not cheap, I have a good job and don’t mind paying but I’ve had conversations with multiple girls that have told me they don’t like when the guy pays as it makes them feel like they need to put out because the guy paid which turns them off. Maybe I’m the weird outlier but it’s very rare I pay…

I’d say both of these guys are bad options. Women love sex as well but in my experience you can’t be direct about it. You need to build up the tension around the idea. There’s a reason many girls love to read trashy romance novels. I’m the in between guy where I love sex, make sexual jokes, but I won’t directly say let’s have sex (unless things have escalated to that boiling point that it’s going to happen). I’ll talk to girls about their previous sexual experiences, what they like, what I like,…

I fell in love with a girl this summer and thought I finally found the one. Dated for a few months having one of the best summers of my life to eventually get dumped. I know the feeling. I’ve read a bunch of books on being social, making friends, dating, and being charismatic. Here are the things that helped me: 1) Write a letter that you will never send to her. It’s more of a journal entry but write it as if you would send it to her. Get everything off your chest in this message. I forget what …

We talked a bit and I found out what her interests were. I asked if she wanted to go do an activity that she liked. She was only broken up a few weeks.

I’m not sure what other people on this sub will say but I can tell you the last girl I dated was in a similar situation. Talked about her ex to me but I used it to springboard to get her to open up about other things in her life. Ended up dating her the entire summer and had one of the best summers of my life. She ended up ending it with me but I still had a great time with the hottest girl I’ve ever dated. Try and get her to hangout outside of work. Go do something fun with her and enjoy yourse…

I’ve read multiple books about being more social, charisma, and making connections with people. Most material I read keeps emphasizing what you said. I’ve used this to make a ton of connections both with men and women. My life is more positive for it.

I’ve drastically been forcing myself to increase eye contact and noticed most people look away. I did have a girl lock eyes hard last week and I could instantly tell she was interested in me. She has a husband and family so I’m not interested in perusing that. It was still a great feeling of confidence to not look away as she held eye contact.

34, moved back in with the parents to save up for a house. Only bring girls you plan to seriously date back to your place. Even then it’s a much harder sell since they have to usually meet your parents. Typically if she has her own place I’ll go there. Backup plan is always my vehicle but not ideal. Getting a place even with a roommate is much better when it comes to dating. This opens up new possible issues such as bad roommates but it’s more comfortable to the girl to meet a roommate than a pa…
