I usually don’t comment that often on this sub, mostly just browse and check it out here and there. Whereas most posts are rather humorous to see, this post in particular makes me seethe. She would seriously rather have some stupid manufactured necklace whose price is over inflated, a stupid little piece of jewelry promoting the worst aspects of commercialism and consumerism that I hate (just the concepts of materialistic gifts on holidays)… then something that actually has real meaning and dept…

Don’t see a time frame where you specified that y’all became a committed relationship. That immediately should have went off the table at the discovery of ex-of. You at least still got your fun though, do you suppose that was all worth it? Did you really see any real possible future or were you just running blind?

Any relationship with any person will require some degree of trust. I guess the main takeaway here is how much do you trust the other person?

Unplug and disconnect. Most of what we know and what we think we understand is just social conditioning that never stopped since we were born. The social contract. Your regularly scheduled programming. What to wear, what to think, how to feel. Do this. Do that. Eat this. Preach this. Love this, hate this, support this. Get a career, get a wife, have kids, work for 40 years then die. Tell the kids the same, sell yourselves a dream and choose slavery. Living in an idea from another man’s mind, in …

I actually read this entire book last year. And it is pretty hardcore, even for people who are already familiar with the redpill. Basically saying almost every aspect of a romantic relationship is in essence a man surrendering himself. Marriage, the kids, your work, your society, all the aspects of modern society were made for women, and men overall are satisfied with that sacrifice. There’s a bunch of things missing here and lots of connections I obviously cannot cover in a Reddit comment, but …

This is actually a nightmare scenario for me. I can’t even begin to contemplate the immense pain and shame I would feel to know my own children are not mine and plus my own wife that could be so treacherous. And of course the divorce proceedings. Multiple years, time and money down the drain. For what? And to be villiainized by some even though you did nothing wrong.

I really dislike when these bios just become checklists for what they want, just really delves into the borders of vain and vapid. I mean I know it’s OLD, but still.

I think this sub has ended up hurting my perception of interpersonal relationship dynamics more than it has helped. I’ve read alot of interesting information and personal anecdotes throughout the few months I’ve been here. Truthfully I first came here months ago because of a painful breakup, trying to understand the nature of relationships better. I feel like I am even more confused now than ever after consuming so much information. At least the break up I’m mostly over, so that’s nice. I feel t…

If honesty is an important part of your value set, and you want to maintain frame, you should be an honest man then. It’s that simple. Being dishonest yourself invites dishonesty back into your life, something to think about.
/r/TheRedPill17/08/21 02:03 AM

I’m a pleaser, it’s important that she gets there before I do. I always go down if the opportunity allows, but if nothing happens that is fine too. The chemistry between both people is very important too, I think you should both want to make each other feel good and comfortable. That’s just my take.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/21 07:37 PM
0

This is not correct. The only real strategy redpill has is to maintain your frame, that’s all dependent on who you are and your values as a person. There is no other recommendation from the red pill and to assert that you must maintain something long term if it goes against your frame and ideals is a violation of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/21 05:02 PM
8

Red pill by default does not do long term commitments because it is considered hard mode. The idea is to spin as many plates as possible indefinitely. Whether or not this is sustainable is another topic entirely. When you are in a long term committed relationship, you are both surrendering yourselves to each other. Over time attraction is going to fade. The honey moon phase ends. The chase is over. You both fully understand and know each other and there is no element of prolonged chaos, at least…

Spent a good amount of time working in a salon. The hours are pretty brutal honestly. Long hours, working through weekends, always having to focus on building clientele and keeping them, for a lot of people the time alone is draining physically, mentally, and spiritually, being couped up inside a salon all day surrounded by constant clutter and noise. At a minimum pulling 50 hour work weeks just for cosmetic services that need lots of upkeep and maintenance. So much work and meticulous details f…

You cannot save people who do not want to be saved. All you can do is wish the best for them from a distance. It’s a hard lesson, especially when it comes to family and people you care for. Often times the problem with trying to help people is that they will just drag you down as well.

At the end of the day, people know what it takes to improve themselves. They know the problems and the issues in their lives that they have to address to improve the quality of their life. People should hold themselves accountable for their faults and reward themselves when they fix the issues or progress as people, however they see fit. This extends to all people of the human species. Validate yourself.

I think it’s better for everyone to remove themselves from social media for a bit. I don’t use it too much myself or rarely ever post and my ex barely ever used it. One of the qualities I liked about our relationship. Sometimes people fall far down the rabbit hole, the world of social media is honestly a useless place.

My biggest concern is that I’m simply not capable of ever being a good father / provider to anyone. I’m in no position mentally or financially to be responsible for a young human, and I don’t believe I ever will be. Not in the way that I would like to. I currently don’t believe the world is beautiful or worth experiencing anymore, so following that logic, I’ve decided to reject our biological imperative. No child is deserving to have a father with such an extremist view anyway, it would be cruel…

Ideal situation is to never be responsible for any children ever. If my brothers were to ever have children and they perished along with their significant other, I would consider adopting my niece / nephew depending on the context of the situation, but beyond that very particular situation, probably not. I will say that in the future my stance on being childfree could very well change. At any point in time I can undergo a radical paradigm shift or meet someone / undergo an experience that comple…

My ex wasn’t someone that I’d thought I’d be attracted too. Actually at first I didn’t think much of her at all to be honest, just someone I was around every now and then. Oddly enough we grew closer over time and organically things grew between us, no pressure or conscious decisions to escalate, we were both just heavily attuned to each other. Then pretty soon, like less than 2 months of knowing each other we became an item. Looking back on it, at first glance she isn’t someone I would be physi…

Most of that is juvenile nonsense to me honestly. Although there is some truth to it if you observe it under a different lens. I believe it is important to embrace impermanence. Nothing truly lasts forever and to truly love openly and honestly is to be prepared to let go, this goes beyond the scope of romantic relationships of course and applies to all facets of life. I don’t care for harems or sleeping with scores of young beautiful women, that isn’t very interesting or useful as a goal or desi…

Life doesn’t expect anything of anyone though; it cannot. It is not a sentient thing that has demands or expectations. Projecting your own values and calling that the desires of the force of life is more of a personal opinion. There are no rules or guidelines or objectives here and there never will be. Those are human constructs

Yeah, I agree with quite a bit of redpill concepts and arguments, of course I acknowledge some of them are very extreme and a good portion of the community can be straight up misogynistic and spiteful, that doesn’t really do anything for me tbh. I’m a strong believer in bodily autonomy and the childfree concept, so by default any redpillers tearing down women for deciding not to have children is just humorous and comical to me. I am a male and subscribe to the childfree philosophy, even moreso now than ever if you observe the current state of affairs across all aspects of our globalist society. I think the childfree stance is definitely seeing a rise these days and ideally I would prefer a long term partner to subscribe to the childfree belief as well. Just a thought
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/21 02:27 AM

Steroids just to get some muscle to get some girls is not worth. Plastic surgery not worth. Just for some attention from the ladies? Not worth. Better to avoid all of this casual nonsense altogether and just focus on some other objective. None of this is worth the end reward imo.

I don’t believe marriage is a smart move in a modern context beyond providing an environment for children and since I plan on being childfree, I’m going to go with number two simply because that’s my only choice although that’s not ideal either. I’d probably be considered an extreme outlier though due to my views on marriage and kids though

i think being nice and polite is definitely an evolutionary trait for women, softly putting someone down or never giving a solid decline would be considered social grace and also to defend in a situation where a man could be unpredictable and turn violent (you even hear stories about this every now and then). So I don't blame women for having flaking behavior or being ambiguous with her intentions because it could very well save her life from a violent man. Keeping you around for validation, emo…

The problem with marriage is there are too many variables beyond a person’s control. For any reason whatsoever your woman can just decide to up and leave and the courts will properly fuck you. The concept of objective truth and purpose in itself is just humanity’s vanity trying to find motivations for existence itself. As beings of life, our only purpose is our biological imperative, to procreate and continue to perpetuate our species. In the eyes of the universe, the great cosmic expanse we exist in, nothing has any truth, value, or real apparent meaning. Everything exists simply because it does. Everything also dies. Well, my father was absent and my mom is an immigrant single mother, so I kind of got shafted on that end. Believe it or not, in general when it comes to sex the man is almost always going to be the determinant factor of how it all plays out. Biologically and instinctually men control the pace. It shouldn’t be difficult for some of you peons to understand, orgasm feels fucking good. I’ve found the red pill way back in 2010 when it was really starting to gain some traction in online communities. There is so much sugar in American foods it’s insane. I tell everybody who is willing to listen to cut all the junk out their life. Cut the sugar, cut the soda, caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, candies, lay off fast food / fried foods / foods loaded with preservatives. Honestly, visualize the life you want to live 5 years from now and make goals to get there. Some people don’t have a visual so they never make a plan or strategy to get there. I grew up in a single mom household. I believe growing up without a father figure really affects a child's development in a negative manner. My thought process is this. If you want to be in a traditional relationship, where the man is the dominant personality and the woman is the submissive personality, then the man takes the bill. If you want to be in a more modern, egalatarian relationship, then go dutch. Also do not be completely opposed to the woman completely taking care of the bill either. I've always been a naturally curious person I suppose, one of the most important things a human will have with their finite time on this planet is their purpose. Any one person I spend a long enough amount of time with, the question always eventually pops up, what's your greatest life ambition? Some things you like to do before you pass on from this life? I don't ask this necessarily to elicit an emotional response, but to actually gauge what is important to this particular person. The answer sp…

No, I don’t particularly care for other people’s opinion on it. I’m a dude and I believe the male form is much more beautiful. We have higher testosterone so it allows for us to build more musculature. Strength, size, conditioning, and growth is insane for men compared to women. Not even comparable. Right now the biggest likely event is a huge collapse of the world economy. The pandemic should have sent us spiraling into the Great Depression 2, but the constant spending and printing of currency kept us afloat. Take a look at the markets and all the money injected into the economy from thin air and anyone with two eyes can see that we are due for a major correction soon. Hardcore red pill philosophy asserts that you should not be involved with a woman you are not fucking. You’d cut them off. But let’s lay off the pill a bit and relax. Having female friends can sometimes be a good thing because it opens your door to their friends and family and events, and in this situation it can be beneficial to you. She can sometimes even be a wingman or a matchmaker. I’d say just ignore them or don’t really provide any advice when it comes to boy problems. Just act aloof and …

I doubt anything will happen. Society has squashed and quelled most people into a state of subjugation and complacency. Maybe if there is a huge catalyst event that pushes people back into traditionalism, maybe a global war conflict or a catastrophic economic collapse that tears open society, but if things continue in this trajectory I doubt anything will happen beyond bitching on the internet.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 09:47 PM

The advent of the internet and social media probably plays a big part in this. Plus in my opinion our gynocentric society has in a lot of ways feminized our young men. Not opening this can of worms right now. Young men just need to take care of their bodies, cut the fat and cultivate the muscle mass. Get off the internet and the vidya games and make their impact in the world, make some money and take what they want. I know what it’s like to get caught in that cycle of idleness and complacency. W…

Apps I feel like are like shopping for something on Amazon but with people. It kind of separates you from the physicality of things and you are just looking at things from an aesthetic point of view. You lose a lot of the nuances and small quirks and intricacies that make each person special and it in a way it does dehumanize everybody involved. I can’t remember the studies or research but apparently half of young people are on dating apps now, so I guess it is important to put yourself on there…

I suppose status is always a relative thing. Some women prefer to live a quiet life, there’s also women out there who want to live a rural life and settle down on a farm with some crops and farm animals and stuff, so the notion of status is always going to be different for each person. Ultimately in the end I think they will want someone who is most compatible with the lifestyle that she wants to live.

I think a lot of guys can relate heavily to your sentiments about dating in general. Seems like the time investment really isn’t worth the reward anymore. There are too many factors beyond your control, hypergamy, social media. Having access to any guy at the tip of her fingers, an instant gratification society. You can play the game perfectly and still get cheated on. You need to embrace some degree of the dark triad and honestly that is just not me and has never been me. Idk, it feels like the…

The more time I spend alive on this earth the more I see examples of women being absolutely in love with the dark triad traits. Feels like everything I was told was a lie as I was growing up, even my mother when she was younger was in love with my deadbeat dad who was probably prime dark triad, even beat her and tried to kill her at one point. And I’m a product of that, the youngest of 3 sons, shit is fucked dude. I really don’t know what to think or feel when it comes to women anymore.

It’s definitely important when at least considering LTRs. She will constantly feel pressure from her family, particularly her parents, and her coworkers, and her friends about the quality of the man that she is with. This all ties back to social proof. We exist in a gynocentric society. Most ideals, products, advertising, and general norms are designed to appease women. If you’ve read the manipulated man by Esther Vilar, it is argued by her that man built civilization for his woman so that she could be more comfortable and strive to be the best version of herself. We are in a very strange era of gender identity, a state of war between what masculinity and femininity is, and it’s happening all over the world because of globalism and the impact …

Embrace abundance mentality. There will always be another woman. She never truly belongs to you, enjoy the time you spend together and then let her go. Know this and absorb this and it can never be used to hurt you. Your greatest power in the dating world as a man is commitment. It could be worthwhile, maybe you will find that one woman and it will all have been worth it, by a complete freak chance. But I will admit the odds are heavily stacked against you. My best advice to any young man, disconnect and dissociate from dating. Get to the bag. Lose the fat, make some gains, get lean in the process. Find your style, your aesthetic. I’d imagine women would find a man who could afford the type of lifestyle she would like to live in the near future. Mileage may vary. This would be considered a baseline. One would argue women are beyond limits. That a woman would always want more and is never fully satisfied with what is already present. An opportunity that presents itself where she can get a wealthier man to commit that check marks all of her other boxes as well, she could just branch swing to that partner. So even then, does…

Literally everything you said is conditional love. That’s fine if that’s what you want, but what you want is transactional. You expect certain things from men. Men expect certain things from women. Let’s make it simpler. A man provides his resources and abilities, a woman provides her youth and beauty. That is 100% what dating is now, you can convince yourself that is not the case, but to me that’s what it is now. If either one falls short, they are easily replaceable. That’s why I was replaced,…

As a man I did want true love and romance and I am highly infatuated with the idea of unconditional love. I would’ve done anything for my first love and was pretty set on committing to her for the rest of my life honestly. Then i had a falling out at work and became unemployed. Was just trying to focus on my life and what I wanted and what was important to me, so I wasn’t looking for work. Just spending time to understand the world around me better and question our society (this was during the p…

i believe the ideas of a high value man and a high value woman are intrinsic to the person in question. basically, mileage will vary. my own idea of a high value woman would be someone kind, gentle, shares similar world views and perspectives that I do, such as being childfree, rejecting the status quo, and generally just mentally syncs with me. To me, appearance does not define the value of a person, their value would transcend that, it's more representative of their spiritual energy that one c…

you could argue the other way around too for women. I think in general people have to hide certain things about themselves if they want to be more attractive to the opposite sex. Women, in my opinion, are expected to be a lot of things as well in our society to be considered suitable for a long term relationship. Men expect certain things from women and women expect certain things from men, this is all generalization. People in this society generally cannot be themselves. There is always some fa…

social media is not good and neither is porn. I believe they both negatively affect what is expected from reality. Both should be viewed as a form of idealism, as mediums far removed from reality. The best thing an individual can do for themselves is to severely limit their intake of porn and consumption of social media, I do make an exception for memes found on social media though. Good shit right there

Social conditioning in most aspects would expect a man to sacrifice himself in any given situation that would allow a greater amount of people to survive. The gender / age / whatever variation of the person or people in question does not matter. Not everyone buys into this social conditioning though. But throughout the development of society, I would say that men are considered expendable and the first ones chosen for activities that are highly dangerous to the security of their personal welfare…

Any man in good physical form will do well getting dates. Good personality and other variables is what will of course turn those dates into something genuine. Look at r/ladyboners and for the more adventurous r/ladybonersgw , you will find at least to some degree what women generally like in a man physically, (at least the women and gay men that frequent reddit). Lean, muscular, bearded, of a larger build. Which is fine if that’s what some women like. Just don’t lie and deflect lol. I’m all about body positivity and being comfortable in your own skin. The society that we exist in by default does not provide equity. What I am talking about is bigger than gender politics. Classism, the haves, the have nots, the exploitation and subjugation of billions for the few. That is the globalist society we now exist in. The only way to achieve true equality is to tear down our current society and rebuild from ground up in a new system. The only question is, which system of governance is most equitable for ALL people? That’s where the interesting conversa…

I have taken a look and explored many spaces on the online sphere regarding dating politics. Obviously the blue pill growing up in american society, being exposed to the red pill in high school, and as of recent, the explosion of MGTOW and FDS seems to be picking up a lot too. I think all of the different spheres have something interesting you can learn from. A different, unique perspective that you can apply in the context of your own life. I think if you just take care of your appearance, actually have some degree of direction in your life, and just make an effort to be more sociable. You will do fine dating. I definitely think the people who frequent this sub are outliers, most people aren’t looking into it this deep imo.

They don’t want to put in the work required to be a more attractive man. So they absolve themselves of the responsibility and shift the blame to women. It’s a defense / coping mechanism. I know this because i used to be one of those men. I’m trying to be better now and improve myself for my future significant other and also myself.

I live deep in the south. Most people around here just let themselves go weight wise or they don’t really take much care of their health. On average people tend to be chubby to overweight. Probably a good 30% are just straight up fat. There are people around here my age and they are generally overweight too but there are lots of people who at least maintain a decent, average frame. Not too many people workout or are fit so it becomes noticeable if someone is lean or slim with some muscle mass. N…

best advice i can give to a young man is to make sure his financial situation is immaculate, gain some muscle mass and take care of your body and appearance, and make sure you 100% without a doubt know your purpose in the world. Do this for yourself, not for women, and understand that it will take a considerable amount of time to figure these things out.

Really not doing this with a random redditor today. Hypergamy exists for both men and women. If you choose to believe it only exists for women, so be it. If you want to believe men aren’t capable of hypergamy based on data that can be skewed and not just observing multiple real world examples, so be it. We can agree to disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 12:20 PM

You don’t have sex with friends, and you can’t form an intimate pair bond with them either. Dogs are cool, but they cannot replace the human touch

That’s cool if MGTOW men want to do that. It’s basically just genders switched. I think the issues people have with MGTOW are the ones that go to super extremes and actually practicing a degree of misogyny. Same could be applied to FDS and certain degrees of misandry. I think both perspectives have valid points and recommend both men and women to be the best they can be.

The answer is simple. They want companionship. They want someone worthy enough to share their life with. Someone to grow old with and share their memories with. Please look into pair bonding, everyone craves this on a biological level, even if they claim they do not. It is how we are biologically wired. Also look up Oxycotin and how it affects men and women. Men are only allowed to cry in certain situations. 100% hypergamy is real, for both men and women. In general people are going to want to pick better partners once they come upon the self realization that they can. That they deserve the best and won’t compromise and want to be in the best possible situation for themselves. People who don’t have their shit together may dread hypergamy. perfectly fine to me. If a woman cannot find a partner that meets her standards, it’s better for her to remain single and enjoy herself until that right person comes along. And if they never do, that’s fine too. Although most might give in and settle

Probably because the face is what one spends the most time looking at and is the most personable. Sometimes, even today, women have to settle because of a myriad of reasons, maybe the area she is in has limited partners, maybe she doesn’t have a good financial situation or some type of mental issue, or maybe she feels as if she can no longer attract a partner that she has idealized in her head, so she compromises and picks someone she wouldn’t have considered a long term partner a few years back. You could attribute this to the popular notion that the majority of a woman's worth is tied directly to her appearance. How she looks, how she takes care of herself, the time she invests to make sure she looks in tip top shape. yeah, lots of men are conditioned to believe that women don't particularly care much for looks. That's a crock of shit. I think lots of men severely underestimate how much good grooming and physical activity can do for them. Nice post op, seems to be disagreements regarding the sentiment of the post but I get it. It’s not that the guy is going to cheat on the girl, but it’s the possibility that he could, that people around him know that he could and that he does has options, of course he isn’t going to exercise them because that’s the point in being in a committed relationship. It’s socially understood that he could cheat though, but no one would ever flat out say it. All ties back to social proof I guess

Casual sex is fine as long as all parties involved are being safe and consentual about it. Generally the people that might be upset about this are mad that they are on somebody else’s piece and not their own lol. At the end of the day it’s your own body so do whatever you want with it, if you want to share it with other people in short term flings, that’s cool. I certainly wish I shared this same sentiment, I did at a different point in my life.
