Just put it in writing together and send it to both your respective attorneys as a framework for a marriage separation agreement before both attorneys start friction and conflict so they can’t milk both of you for billable hours.

Unfortunately it’s a somewhat common thing. It is a huge mindfuck to try to grapple with. You trusted her so completely to build a life with and she was so careless with that trust and then you’re left with the destruction that was caused by her actions. Being deceived so much that you doubt your entire reality, doubt your judge of character, doubt your ability to ever trust another person ever again. At the end of the day you’ll come to the conclusion that she is a liar and has always been. Ove…

My ex said the same thing about my schedule as a firefighter (24/48). Her lawyer told her this. I told my lawyer that being a dad was the most important part of my life and that I wouldn’t settle for less than 50/50 even if it meant I had to quit my career. It’s all done and the dust has settled, I’m still working and it’s court ordered 50/50. Just tell her you disagree with her parenting plan and that you are a good father and 50/50 is the hill you will die on. You will get through this.

Personality disorders are fucked up. They view life through an instagram filter that is the whatever flavor of their disorder, whether it is narcissistic or borderline their view of reality is disconnected from actual reality. I’ve been in your shoes and the advice I would give to myself back then and to you right now is run the fuck away from anyone with a personality disorder especially if they were your spouse and cheated on you. Fuck cheaters period. Actions speak louder than words and with …

I have no idea about Texas but in my state once you’re at 20 years of marriage it makes lifetime alimony possible. Just fyi.

Trust is everything in a relationship. Actions speak louder than words. BPD or not she cheated and broke your trust. My ex is diagnosed bpd and my only advice would be to grey rock in all conversations and separate your life entirely. Run from this woman.

We both filled, but no court order as of yet because she hasn’t agreed to anything. The house is in both our names. The mortgage is only in my name.

We have been going through the divorce process for a year now. I moved out last month. Just waiting for this to be finalized at this point but she is paying for nothing at this point even though she has a decent job.

Get a couple of ancestry dna kits for the kids and yourself. You’ll get the answer you need and if asked about it by your wife it’s pretty easily explained that you’re interested in yours and your childrens family tree. If they are both your children you will have peace of mind about it, if she has a problem with testing then she is hiding something. Either way your relationship doesn’t sound like it’s going great and you could be heading towards divorce anyway but at least you need to find the …
