Having a loving partner boosts your self esteem, motivation, mental health etc tremendously. Can confirm. That's why I hardly come here anymore. A good relationship > single any day of the week. When I was single I was paying my home, holding my job, and indulging in my hobbies and I can def do that but being in a good relationship is way better. It's not mental illness, spiritual void, or whatever other shit people try to peddle to want companionship. That gaslighting needs to stop.

Yeah "it-it would never happen to me" as if no one has ever asaulted someone with no provocation on the streets. I grew up in east L.A and I saw homeless woman stab a random old guy with no provocation. Dude was just walking minding his own business. Looked like she was hopped up on shit. But you have no actual response to what I said. Women cannot assault men for no reason cause women always good and man always bad. You're a fuckin tool dude.

When did he say he actually got beat up by her? You're either retarded or you got the strap-on so far up your ass it it's affecting your reading comprehension. He got pepper sprayed. If this happened to you, what would you do as the absolute manly alpha leonidas you proclaim to be? I'm dying to hear your idea.

Ok if its some message like "hi" "hello", then that's not sexual harrassment by any stretch. However if some dude is sending "wAnNa sEe mY dIcK" to 100 women indiscrimately, then yes. Also ones that's can't take rejection gracefully and start insulting or threatening if a woman doesn't like them. Like do ya actually think a girl is gonna go "oh I see you're really butthurt by my rejection, that makes me so wet". This is just retarded, fellas. I'm very MRA, you can see by my post history, but thi…

I disagree with what that guy says but for every 1 comment like this guy's, there's like 10 about us over at two x chromosomes on how worthless we are on a daily basis. You can't actually believe they are doing anything close to taking the high road.

Men are definitely at higher risk to be victims of violent crime. The "whatchu you lookin at?" guy and his crew are far more ubiquitous than any rapists trying to get you into a dark corner. These guys could be almost literally anywhere and will beat you to a pulp and stomp your head in for the lulz. They will do it at night or in broad daylight and don't care if there are witnesses or cameras around. At least you can form a strategy to avoid the rapist by not walking around at night by yourself…

But if it is the only thing we post, we won't have as much merit to stand on Dude, look at two xchromosomes right now Almost all of the front page is things complaining about men and very little to do with actual women's topics. Love how some say our sub is a misnomer when their own ""women's issues"" sub has very little to nothing to do with actual women's issues and mostly about men. I see the description "a sub intended for women's perspectives" but the description on our sub also reads "At t…

I don't know that the right to talk shit about another gender is really what we should be fighting for. No, that's not what I'm saying but just serves as an example of how absolute clownshoes things have become. They should be better. It's a bad look and it isn't gaining them followers, it has garnered a lot of opposition to feminism. Don't disagree there Perhaps this is where we need to talk man to man about sensitive topics that aren't hate speech or wrong in any way, Sure, agreed there. I wil…

Men of Reddit lost MGTOW because it did not focus on Men Going Their Own Way. We were not responsible with it. We did not show the world the best that men can be. This is on us to do better, guys. We owe it to each other to be acting to the highest caliber that we can. Meanwhile on Two X Chromosomes... Like 1 to 2/3rds of that sub is just sexist things towards men and demonizing them and that's allowed to stay up. I get ya about pursuing your own goals and dreams but doing what one can to stop t…

I love how they are complete anarcho capitalists and advocates of the free market when it come to the dating market but turn to compelete socialists when it comes to discussing equal hire and pay. Guess what, that's how the free market they advocate so much works. 90%+ of workplace deaths are men. Why does it surprise them when an employer would rather hire the gender that is 90% more likely to literally die for their job? Or the gender that can lift twice more on average in construction labor j…

Got kissed forcibly at a movie theater once and another time at a party. In college, an old lady at a bar slapped my ass. Had a drunk one lick my ear/neck from the backseat of a car. Had a girl that sat behind me in junior high that would play with my hair all day and kick at my feet repeatedly trying to play footsies. It was obvious that I wasn't interested and wasn't engaging back. This went on for weeks. Eventually I turned around annoyed and told her "can you stop?" and one of her friends sa…

Yet who comes when you call 911, fights in wars, puts out wildfires, deals with hazardous materials, rescues people in natural disasters, works in the scorching sun/freezing cold restoring the power grid etc. Men die daily policing other men who do bad things. I've never once in my life seen a woman stand up to another woman verbally or physically abusing a man or a boy. Y'all do nothing to police your own

no one is forcing you to date/interact with them. so what is your issue ? if seeing these people in public causes you so muh distress that you have to go online and spread anger, you have issues. so genuinely, what is the issue with these people just existing ? Haha good one. By your choice of people being made fun of, it sounds like you're saying just men do this. You know what gives me the ick? Obese women in short shorts and thongs *ba-dum-tss*. Of course women are conditioned to believe my comment is indicative of hating all women and being a sexist while they watch other women having a field day filming and shaming random men for things like holding an umbrella in the rain and don't accuse them of the same thing 🤷‍♂️.

Remember that women have been considered for so long inferior to men, weak, dumb, incapabile, ilogical etc (still are by some) that now the pushback went in the other direction where women appear to have no fault in anything, always have good intentions and never do anything wrong. The discrimination you experience now as men, women have experienced for centuries! You're basically going "yeah! take that guys from the 50s and 1800s!!" to a generation of men that didn't take part in that. Imagine …

she's going to expect you to be a jester and entertain her. This. This so much. The whole "I see a bunch average guys with average to attractive women" trope often conceals well what's really going on. Men that are doing this routine are usually getting little to no return on their efforts besides them stickin around with them. So yes we often see these couple but it doesn't tell the whole story. I know this because I've been one of these guys and got sick of her just asking and never giving bac…

High carbon emissions were necessary to achieve the material comforts people enjoy today, irrespective of ideology. While I don't disagree with this, I would say now that the pendulum is swinging the other way and we are seeing the consequences of this development, I would be willing to work towards the transition to a more environmentally protective way to live. I am cognizant that our economic movement is highly dependent on petrol and sudden elimination or harsh legislation would absolutely w…

I can see where you're both coming from. Here's the thing I think he's trying to say. That the left is usually more guilty of this. I've taken a few political tests and usually come out as a left leaning centrist. Due to this I often have disagreements with both left and right folks. Even though I agree slightly more with left wing policies, I have noticed that side more quick to label you or think they know all your beliefs based on one thing. For example if I say I think capitalism has caused …

Let me tell ya this in a way men hear all the time in a hardcore feminist argument style: There is no legal entity or law making you look like women in tv and magazines. It is not against the law to look the way you look. So it's not something you need to worry about. I know a ton of women that look like you that are happily married. There a ton of women that fall under a "thick" category on onlyfans and they have a millions of subscribers. You need to do some introspection as the problem is cle…

Your entire sample size for this argument is literally based off of one guy - one guy, lmao 😂😂😂. 👏👏👏 Exactly. Just because I was able to win in the housing market and purchase a home doesn't mean I can't see how much harder it has become obectively to do so. I also don't feel it gives me the right to talk down to others and say it's so easy to do and their situation is entirely because they're lazy bastards. But of course the solution is just to go into /r/realestate and call everyone lazy bastard who is talking about having a hard time affording a home now and actually think I'm helping.

The first article captures a brief snapshot from 2017 in which it was neither one or the other and just for the UK. The one I provided is from all of the EU, 2023, and covers all years from 2015-2022. Of course only men(as usual) are the ones that get the finger pointed at them, cause it's always their fault, despite the fact that there are still more NEET women than there are men as shown here. Here is a worldwide one.. On top of that, assuming we're not observing gender roles anymore either as so many that want to "stomp out the patriarchy" say, why should there be any reason to shame NEET men any more than NEET women? It's not possible for someone to think that men need to be real men while…

Welp, men should be criticized for sending unsolicited dick pics. Absolutely. Not arguing there. While I don't have control over what other guys do but I won't deny that it happens. I also won't resort to childish name calling or gaslight attempting into thinking this isn't real or a one-off thing. Men that do this and cat calling are absolute dumbasses I agree. So the only reason men have for living is for sex? No, but the prospect of providing for a wife and kids has historically been one of the strongest things that can awaken a man's motivation. This historically has churned out generations of men of willing to work double shift rain or shine in high altitude and other hazardous work conditions. Working non'stop and overtime and be a seemingly unstopabble force of nature. Do single men like this still exist? Sure but not as many as there otherwise w…

it’s that it’s so balls achingly obvious I don’t get why it’s even being discussed that’s not necessarily because women care what other women think. Well it started from me disagreeing with the "women don't care what other women think" when man who has lots of women who approve of him will lead to other women directly or indirectly (subconsciosuly) also approving of him as well. The reverse being true as well. If a lot of girls think a guy is creepy or not dating material, a lot of girls will be…

women are all waiting to see what other women are doing women are all waiting to see who to pounce on. See, this is a big stretch. It doesn't work like that. This is a much more subtle and subconscious. Say you're at a bar. There is a guy who is getting all this positive attention from women regardless of his looks. He is in a group women all making them laugh and smile. Then you see a few of those women talking about how hot he is. Then you overhear another girl talking to her friend about hot …

Interest from other women sparks curiousity. What does this guy have? Is he funny? Is he good in bed? This in addition to a guy who is already attractive will make him that much more enticing. But even if that man isn't particulary rich or attractive, the same principle will apply and women are going to want to know what's so great about this guy. This is the first spark that piques their interest and makes him stand out from the crowd.

that’s not necessarily because women care what other women think. Your last point is true but have to disagree on this one. If other women want you, other women are goint to want you too. They are gonna want to see what all the noise is about. The reverese is true too though. If lots of women don't want you or reject you, they are gonna wonder what is wrong with you that other women can see.

Yes crucified like Jesus of Nazareth is exactly what I meant *sarcastic laugh*. Yes, it's the right word but it's clearly an idiom. If you are saying how an individual guy told you these things? If so, that's not what this post is about. This is how women are allowed to speak rudely about men they aren't interested while facing far less social backlash than the reverse.

This. It's hilarious how many people are deliberately being obtuse and trying to interpret it as me meaning otherwise when they know this is clearly what is meant. The same logic applies though. This sub, unlike a lot of places, has some degree of moderation where one has to actually adhere to reality and debate rationally and not just allowed to call everyone incel that you don't agree with. It's probably no surprise there is a male slant in this sub as this is one of the only places where a rational debate is allowed to take place. So I can tell a woman who complains about men mostly using them for sex, or some variation of the same question, while the reverese happens far less with "you're right, next question"(which I'm not disputing) and tell her how she gets to brag about winning the victim olympics now? But I guess only one gender is able to campaign for the victim olympics and not the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 12:25 AM

Why are you unable to communicate effectively? If you meant that, write that. Because the way you write makes you sound like an unhinged lunatic with terrible ideas. Dude, your panties are in a gordian knot right now. You're choosing to interpret something so literally that it makes me wonder if you suffer from some disorder on the spectrum. Your strawman attempt failed so you're now choosing to gaslight unaware of how unhinged you sound yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/23 11:07 PM

You're deliberatively being obtuse. It's like someone saying "drivers in Tennessee are the worst, they never signal when changing lanes" and you telling that person on their next trip to Tennessee "why are you driving in Tennessee since you think literally every driver doesn't signal". thanks Glad you acknowledge your strawman :)

Actually they do. The consequences may not be immediately apparent but it is seen as a direct insult and generally frowned upon. I can't call a woman a whore even in jest as I will be seen as a misogynist. However a woman can laugh at a guy's virginity all day and no will give it a second thought and think "that was kinda bitchy of her".

The difference is though, there's consequences and social backlash for slut shaming a woman in the western world. People saying this will be seen as assholes. Virgin shaming men though is totally fine and can be seen as a friendly way to rib on someone and bust their chops. You can make fun of a guy for being a virgin which basically communicates the message: "Hey, women won't go near you with a ten foot pole but I love ya bro lelelelel". This was very common growing up in my day and virgin men …

In my view it's not healthy to be motivated primarily by your libido. While I would say it's definitely not for me, it's like rocket fuel for most men to have a good wife to come home to. A man in a good relationship will do better than he would have otherwise single. The reverse is true for a bad relationship though.

It's crazy to think how much "average" has changed over the last 30 years. Back in the 90s the baseline for average was a girl with a decent face who wasn't overweight i.e "the girl next door" type. Now a girl like that is in the top 30% simply by virtue of not being overweight. Many guys who grew up during this era had this idealized type of woman as the one they would marry. To attain such a woman, all one would need to do is be an average looking guy with a decent job. Today that average woma…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/23 06:58 AM

where if you fail to meet a minimum standard in any one key criterion, it is very difficult to compensate by over performance in other areas. Weight definitely ranks far below height. A 6'3 fat guy will have far better luck than a 5'4 ripped guy. If you have height and money, you will get women. This is why I'm saying that weight gain across the entire population didn't drop male attractiveness as much it did women.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/23 06:23 AM

I disagree. A man's fitness level is only about 25% of his overall scorecard when it comes to his sexual attractiveness while women's is probably 50% or more. A man who's overweight but tall with lots of money will do just fine. A better analogy would be like watching all men put on weight and drop in height like 3-4 inches in height; that would paint a better perspective as to what men are going through. I've never once seen a man leave his wife or refuse to date a woman because she doesn't make enough money. If a woman happens to be in a relationship with a man that makes less than her or a stay at home dad, it's typically because they both chose that arrangement. A man will never demand this of a woman though. However, women will quite frequently reject men due to them not meeting her income requirements. That qualifies as an actual ask. I have never once in my life seen a man leave his wife because she doesn't make as much as him or refuse to date a woman because of that. I don't know what planet you are living on. Any shortening of the gap departing from previous generations is due to women joining office jobs that both genders can do and not because men specifically asking for women to make as much as them. Also, men are still making more on average and I would like to see if you have anything that proves otherwise.

I'd say modern technology and the internet has completely fried a lot of our brains and dopamine reward circuits. In the same way that if you're nerves are shot on a date you don't want to tell them that as almost no woman is going to find a weak insecure man attractive. In an ideal world it be nice wouldn't it? But we don't live in an ideal world

I think there are things that objectively succeed more either in dating, business, or other endeavors. If you're at your job, you're not going to tell your boss you think he's bag of dicks and you're starting to hate your job. You'll be unemployed and living in your car but hey I mean at least you were honest 👍. That doesn't mean lying your ass off either saying you can do all your team members work at the same time. It's just knowing how to present yourself. But you do you man.

I'm actually not sure we disagree. I would rather be honest 100%. Of course we're talking about what works and what doesn't. This is not about what I would prefer. Also getting laid and being in an LTR are two completely different things and not sure which one you're thinking.

Well it's just like a job interview. You don't want to tell them you have two masters degrees if you really don't. The truth is eventually going to come out. But you have to act and say things that the majority of women generally like to hear and see in the same way as employers do.

Exactly. It's not even like that though. It's more like "stop being a depressed loser!" "go to the gym you lazy fuck" "stop being so ENTITLED" "only incels write these posts" "but I'm trying to help you bro". Yet these feminists and wannabe stg.hartman accountability police never show up in women's threads complaining about their weight and shit that's entirely in their control. Some of these men are already doing a lot of these things and find no other choice but to lower their standards to jus…

This. I mean he's right in the sense that there is specific stuff they want to hear and just telling someone to be themselves is generally bad advice. Especially if they have some traits and things women generally don't find attractive. However, it sure as hell ain't no mushy romantic stuff. Especially in the beginning of the relationship. If he has, more power to him. But I'm extremely skeptical of OP's success with this.

and are likely to be equal to or even surpass men socio-economically on this trajectory False. Even with degrees 72% of six-figure earners are still men. We know that women have deeper social connections that men generally don’t have. I'll give you that one. On average. The physical superiority is obsolete as mental labor is more important than physical labor, and being jacked is not actually going to help a man protect you from any threat in the modern world. Heavy box? piece of furniture? tigh…

Talking to the person loudly, so that there are more eyes on the situation can also work. There are also all sorts of de-escalation techniques a person can employ. Talking to a hostile person loudly will often escalate things further. The truth is a woman has much more leeway to do this as she far less likely to have to back up what she says physically. A man yelling at another man who is already hot headed will quite often lead to a physical confrontation. A woman yelling at a man in public wil…

Yes protector doesn't have to always be physical. However, have you lived such a sheltered life that you don't know that verbal confrontations can and often do lead to physical ones with strangers? I don't see how you were not able to make that connection. While men cause more of the problems that you mentioned, men also do more to police those exact same men. 85% of people in law enforcement are men. If you are jogging in a park and you accuse a man of grabbing your ass, that man is going to ja…

I only said gender roles cause if you think this is only men's responsibility, then you believe in gender roles of men having to be protectors of everyone. Which is outdated, am I right? I also take it if you believe that, then women need to also stop the excuses for not standing up to other women when abusing a man? Sorry you don’t have friends like that. Actually I do. As far as strangers, I've seen men stand up to other men to defend women. I've seen women stand up to other men to defend wome…

What excuses though? Don't tell me you actually believe in those outdated gender roles. I assume if this is true, it's women's duty as well to stand up for a man being physically or verbally assaulted by another woman? Maybe just telling her that her sexist jokes aren't cool either. How about not looking the other way? There are a thousand little things they can do as well to support men that don’t require going to jail either but I have yet to ever see one instance of it irl.

If there is a man harassing me, other men don't help. Expressing dissatisfaction or annoyance about something is the definition of complaining. I believe that men are predators and women are responsible for defending and protecting themselves against said predators. You dodged my question again by just making a generalization about men instead of responding to it. You're not making any sense. Just another one of these convos where you refuse to acknowledge your blatant hypocrisy.

If there is a man harassing me, other men don't help. They pretend not to see what's happening Your wait is over. Stay on topic. If you want to make a thread about men being attacked by women in public spaces, you're free to do so. Women attacking men isn't relevant to this conversation. It is 100% relevant. Why would one gender be forced or pressured into risking their safety for one gender but the reverse not be true?

Read the thread comments. No where did I say that men HAD to help or intervene. But yet you're complaining that they aren't. If they are partaking in it themselves, I'm against it. However, as long as they are not involved in any way, they don't have to treat you like you're their gf, sister or mom. Go talk to the security of the venue. Asking a complete stranger to risk life and limb for you sounds quite a bit like entitlement. Whereas women are more likely to intervene, assist, call out the ma…

This is probably my favorite. Women complain "b-b-but what about those girls that are born ugly and can't get by on their looks?? oh the humanity!". Guess what, that's the default mode for every man. No is going to give you anything for the way you are born or look. You need to provide value in some form. As soon as you stop doing that, you are discarded.

I literally took your “men’s right issue” at face value and demonstrated how it was nonsense. A position no one was pushing as a legal matter to begin with i.e you strawmanning lol Are you saying men’s rights extend over what women do? I think you might need to have a better understanding what what “rights” mean. Again there was no strawman, right? you are just massively entitled whiny babies. At the most basic level, men's rights are the legal rights that are granted to men. However, any issue that pertains to men's relationship to society is also a topic suitable for this subreddit. I can see you never get tired of being wrong lmao

Women cannot be for body positivity and at the same time demand men to have "6pack" and be "6feet". This hypocritical shit is infuriating. If she demands him to have 6 pack, which is hard to get and requires sacrifices, she must mandatory be fit herself. And she has no right to demand him to be 6 feet, because height unlike weight cannot be controlled. 👏👏👏

Because men have to list stuff women want to calibrate by but vice versa is banned? He's already clearly explained it to you. If they had a weight filter too though, couldn't they leave it blank? Are you saying men’s rights extend over what women do? Having a filter does not equal women having to do anything and your attempt to form such a strawman argument is weak. If you're going to be deliberately obtuse and ask the same damn question again and form another strawman argument after this, it's …

Their only counter-argument to that will be that some guys 60-70 years ago were oppressive to women and now you deserve to suffer even though you literally had nothing to do with that oppression or those times.

What I'm saying though is men have much more to do to attract the opposite sex and just having looks isn't going to do much for them. Men also have to worry about height(which they have zero control over mostly), money, nice house/car, status, confidence etc and the industries that revolve around it which was my response to your statement.

men shouldn’t be blamed for women doing plastic surgery or any of the other things mentioned. Then what was the purpose of you bringing up "There isn’t a billion dollar beauty industry for men to buy makeup, hair removal and expensive hair salon visits. At this point we’re not even living in reality" in response to this post? You're basically saying men don't have a billion dollar industry for beauty products and we don't have to worry about beauty as much as women. In which I respond that women…

I ask, when did men ever make or force women to wear make-up against their will?. That's something they chose and continue to do on their own accord to stand from the competition. There also isn't a billion (or trillion dollar maybe) industry to buy nice homes, sports cars, rolexes, etc for women to impress men. Don't really get what your point is.
/r/MensRights18/09/22 10:24 PM

Duh. The only part I don't like is the denial that it exists while shaming men for their own preferences. Every time it's "I know a guy that's 4'3 that bags models all day, the problem is you". By that same token, I also know some obese women that have attractive husbands like here. An STFU to stop making excuses is only given to one side and not the other when it's blatantly obvious it's a factor for both.

Imagine what type of reaction #effyourheightstandards where we have a bunch of short guys lined up. Beauty at every height. Everyone would laugh despite women doing the same thing for the last decade on something they can totally change.
/r/MensRights18/09/22 09:00 PM

Yeah, IF you initiated it first. It can't be painted as any more or less of what a physical reaction can be. For instance someone can paint you simply trying to restraining them as "he tried to rape or smother me" while the pepper spray is just that pepper spray. Nothing more nothing less. Makes things a lot less muddled and works in your favor.

To everyone reading this, I think a good tool to use in these scenarios is pepper spray. If I'm every getting assaulted by a woman, any physical defense on my part has the potential to be painted to the jury as disproportionate use of force. Warning them first if possible and if they don't stop what they are doing, use it. I think it would help in your defense as you technically never put your hands on her using your male strength, you only used what was needed to stop the attack.

I'd say what in the hell difference does it make who holds seats in power such as man, woman, space alien, etc when the system itself and its laws created are slanted towards and catered towards women? Men receive 63% more time for the same crime compared to women Only 1 in 6 child custodies are granted to the father 1 in 4 men have experienced rape, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner but for victims of domestic violence, there are 2000+ shelters for women and 2 for men 1 in 6…

men are the real and true proponents of any and all women's rights This. The problem is even men hate men. Women have been able to use this much to their advantage as they believe maybe even on a subconscious level that hurting or disenfranchising another man means less competition and the woman they are white knighting for will sleep with them. Any even mere mention on the existence of misandry or telling them to stop being sexist towards men and a strawman argument will be formed on how you be…
