So it seems almost all forms of mistreating men is justified by "character development"

"Man up"

"No one likes a sad depressed loser"

"stop being a little bitch"

"start lifting"

"crybaby"

Everyone tries to justify this by saying "Can't you see we're trying to help you". Many strong men push through and people are happy going "see you just needed to believe in yourself! You did it!". Then the same people end up being shocked when these men don't ever display any empathy. They don't ever stop to think why they would have trouble understanding such a feeling when not a lick of it was ever given or modeled for them. We end up with a bunch of guys with hella character but little to no empathy.Time and time again the issue of toxic masculinity is brought up but hardly ever about society's contribution to it or what can be done about it.
