Give yourself more credit. I had a pretty diminished view of myself until I started getting hit on by 20 somethings (Im 40) and I was like wtf is happening?!

Im realizing that many divorced guys are a hot commodity. If you're in decent shape, have a good job, are a loving father and make an attempt, you better watch out. Its almost like you need an agent to vet your options 😂

She just doubled down. Which I expected. I just have to make it a few more weeks and she'll be out on her own.

Yeah, Im starting to understand. Im definitely starting to vocalize that Im no longer responsible for her emotions and Im learning to say "No" more.

I recently rewatched Fight Club. There's a scene where Tyler is driving and he's saying stop trying to control everything and let go. It really resonated with me. I was worried about rumors and what people would think but Ive come to realize I cant control it and I just let go. Reject nihilism and embrace absurdism. You're going to be just fine.

So we are very amicable. We have a good plan in place and are in full agreeance about money and custody. After I thought about the staying married thing, I decided it was not a good idea. I dont think the tax savings will be enough to make me want to stay married to her. We are filing a no contest divorce and once done we will be officially divorced. It doesn't take long in my state. Ive also realized that alot of things are her problem to figure out and not mine.

Divorce is almost a social flex for women now. It's the victim mindset somehow mashed up with capitalism.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
