This is mainly economic issues, but don't get me started on the work environment if STEM actually got filled up with women. Like they say, you can't "feelz" your way out of code, either it does or it doesn't. A likely "solution" that would be adopted would be to lower standards, which absolutely cannot go into what STEM is about. Also, if anyone decided to evaluate the department as a group, I'm sure the guys that actually did the work would riot. They say we need to be more "inclusive" in STEM.…

Question 1: ”Are you a player?” Are you afraid of competition? Question 2: ”Yeah, I bet you say that to all the girls..” Only the pretty ones. Question 3: ”What’s the matter? You look so sad.” The most depressing day of my life. I ran out of ketchup. Question 4: How many girls have you slept with?” That reminds me, I have to get new pillowcases, this is the 2nd time in a week a girl leaves make up on them. Question 5: ”Are you seeing anyone else?” My schedule is so filled up that I hardly see my…

I just finished the video. It's very long but actually covers a lot of points. Society, Biology, Politics, Mindset. How a lot of stuff can be divided between "collectivism" (being a liberal) vs "individualism" being a conservative. Thank you very much for the share. I learned a lot.

It's on their nature. When most people see someone succeed, instead of being happy for them/congratulate they will try to drag you back down to their level. Since that is easier than working for themselves.

If you are intellectual, your analytical faculty will apply a negative filter to life because you are prone to cynicism, over-thinking, and in turn, inaction. These traits are a hotbed for depression, and depression destroys productivity. I think I just described every intelligent underachiever that ever lived – knowing so much, yet doing so little. I may sound arrogant but I think this describes me perfectly. Recently I have begun to care less about the world and just focus on me. This has led …

Day #1 Went to bed around 11PM but fell asleep until around 11:45. I should stop using my phone. Woke up around 8AM with an alarm but snoozed it until 8:30. Waked up. Drank a shake and went off the the gym. I felt refreshed.

I agree wholeheartedly of this. Since I've been lurking for over a year. I still consider myself a newbie here. TRP sidebar theory gives you the frame of mind on how to pursue your own true interests. As stated on the post, having a very logical mind may interfere with the application of said theory, but sometimes you have to say "fuck it" and apply it without understanding it fully since life is not always logical. No amount of theory will help you if you don't apply it and you also need to hav…

Yeah, that's pretty much it. The "dangerous" states are Michoacan and Sinaloa. If you want to experience Mexico, go to Guanajuato, Puebla, Chiapas, Queretaro or Jalisco. These are the principal cultural states.

Interesting post. It seems obvious that the Prius would automatically label you as "boring" and "beta". I got one question tho, What would be the case in a sportier car? For example a Camaro, (I'm more a Mustang guy) While it isn't boring, it also doesn't scream MONEY! like a BMW or MBenz. What would a girl pick? Truck or sportscar?

many short-haired, tattooed, pierced, fat women here. Tattoos are gaining a popularity lately, but only discrete ones. Being a fat woman here has always been a big turn off so they understand that. I've heard that university dorms don't exist in Mexico the way they do in the US. That is correct. Very few universities have them (mine does) but they are very expensive. You could get a regular aparment for the same price. The main reason for this is that in Mexico it's rare that we go to another st…

Hi There, Rojo and me are the main (or just active) ones from Mexico. Specific game tips. Well, since you are going to be in Mexico City that's the most liberal city in the country. You can find all types of women. From church goers to total sluts. The good thing is that women here don't have the entitlement level like US. So expect the majority to be friendly, specially to a foreigner.

If that isn't a big red flag I don't know what is. The number 1 rule if your main income is digital is BACK THAT SHIT UP. You need an online backup as well as an off site backup. Most Helpful: Your body is a machine like your brain, you need to keep making it work or will stagnate and you will suffer. The actions of today will determine tomorrow, start working now to see the results you want today. Life is a game, TRP shows how to play it but most people don't like losing. Regret not understanding earlier: Being nice won't get you anywhere.

Whenever you defy the status quo you will be met with criticism. Look at some of examples or AskReddit or TwoXX, they clearly show TRP knowledge but without our lingo since they perceive us as "woman haters" since they are too far plugged into the system.

As a fellow programmer, I will check Stallman's essays. Personally, I'm a big proponent of Open Source (but support also paid sw) and I align more with Google's philosophy. Sure, they data mine the hell out of you but I see it as a way of founding their goals, which are making the world a better place (in contrast with Apple and MS which care more about money).

Yeah it's good advice but depends on the case. Personally at 18 I went to an "ok" school but one I didn't wanted to go really, I dropped out because I lost my 25% scholarship due to slacking off. Got a job, evaluated my life (and found TRP), one year later I'm in the best engineering school of my country with a 60% scholarship. That year off school really helped me see what I wanted in life and that I gotta work to get it.

Although it slowly has gathered much of US culture, I'm glad feminism still isn't here hard as in US. For one I thank the 'macho' culture we have, where men are supposed to be men and work for what they want. Like /u/RojoEscarlata said, we may have a growing white knighting problem.

This is like one of the "One thing I need to do before I die". No, TRP is a series of guidelines of how to be the best of you. If you want a LTR o marriage (which many here don't like but some do) you can get one. This is not belief system that you have to follow exactly. It gives you the ways to achieve your goals and make you happy. If having a lot of sex makes you happy so be it. If having successful career makes you happy so be it. If having a wife and children makes you happy so be it. That is TRP which in IMO you haven't fully understood.
