I’m sorry to hear that man. I’m struggling with loneliness like you. I’ll reach for my phone to text my stbx and then stop myself because it will make it worse. All I can suggest is meet new people, join groups, even find a new job if you’re in the market for one. Give yourself the time to heal and work on yourself before dating again.

I want to find someone else. I personally feel having someone else in hour life is one of the keys to happiness. As far as marriage, I may not want to get married again for the simplicity of being able to walk away.

Mine left me because I developed depression. I developed it after she told me she wasn’t attracted to me anymore. Killed all my confidence and self esteem.

I learned to speak up for myself instead of suffering in silence, keep busy with projects, losing weight, building my quality of life, what type of person I don’t want to be with next.

As a dad who worked 70+ hours a week to make ends meet, I didn’t have much of a choice than to spend little time with my son. My soon to be ex wife refused to work part time after me asking her to so I could work a little less because I wanted to spend more time with my son. She was working full time before the baby. I of course couldn’t force her to work. Now we are divorcing because she didn’t like my shitty attitude when I came home from work every day exhausted and irritated by work to a dis…

You answered your own question when you said you don’t love her and that you’re not attracted to her. You sound absolutely miserable in this marriage. Despite your daughter, I would get out. You won’t lose your daughter over it. You will get a sense of relief and you can find someone else that you are attracted to and love when you are ready. Get out now before she ruins your life. Also, I would go see a therapist to help you get through the process emotionally. It’s not going to be easy, but I …

My house was spotless after she left for two reasons. One was that I could actually keep it clean without her making a bigger mess and refusing to clean it and two, I had to sell it so I didn’t have much choicez

I would seek a lawyer or estate planner and please do not take my two cents as advice. Generally, a trust is written by the guarantor, in this case you, to protect your asset from your estate should you pass. If you leave the house to the kids, a future partner has zero claim to it unless you change the trust. Only you can make changes to to the trust so if you are trying to shield it from a divorce, DO NOT add your future partner/spouse to the trust at all. Again, please seek the advice of a la…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
