I too use Burberry and I too have had something similar happen. I love those woody scents.

Even when I don't particularly feel like smiling, I can still make it happen. I don't even know if it is just a really good fake smile, or I can actually smile honestly on command. Anyway, the trick is to make it more of a laugh than a smile. Don't think about holding a certain face. Give a little chuckle and it will seem natural. Fun fact: Laughing, even when forced, can automatically put you in a good mood/better state!

Enjoy the adrenaline high of the first approach. It's the mental equivalent of having a nine inch cock (temporarily).

Everyone has covered the main points but just to add to their great advice, one thing that really helped me a few years back getting over my first serious girlfriend: Anytime you find yourself wallowing in dread and getting sad about her (or even just thinking about her), you should immediately get up and move and get active. My personal suggestion is take up an activity that will improve your game, seeing as you are on seddit. It's essentially a mental change of topic.

Good stuff. I too would be skeptical about gym-game, but it seems like the scenario was prime for action. Attraction was found (eye contact, smiles, mutual "check outs") so gaming was appropriate!

You do the thing you're scared shitless of, then you get the courage after you do it, not before

This is SOOOOO true. I had my first day back at university and did this (also smiling at everyone too). Nearly 90% of people, including the attractive women, looked away nervously. A few smiled in a "caught off guard" way and probably 5% or returned a flirtatious smile. This was over four hours in a school with thousands of students. edit: Forgot to add the beef of the post. This is a genuine confidence boost. If I am, at least superficially, more confident than 95% of these people, I am confide…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
